The MC is presented as someone who often reads horror stories and is the first one to adapt and guide his class to a safe place.

But from there his actions and the knowledge he should have doesn't match up.

Even when he has mutated and is powerful enough that common zombies aren't his match. He is still being pushed around by normal humans. Yeah I know, the antagonist is a bully and dwells on the underworld so he probably knows how to fight, but at the end of the day he is a normal human. Just one night attack and he is done, MC literally has a bullet time like ability, can see in the dark and move without making sound.

At the start the MC tolerates this bully and his followers because "let's avoid conflicts and work together yay! If he doesn't do anything too extreme it should be okay" but dude.

He tried to kill you and your best friend on multiple occasions, he stole all the food of your group letting you and the people you care about to starve, he r*ped and played with your classmates and constantly mentions how he wants everyone from your group including yourself (he wants to taste a cat girl even if MC isn't a girl).

And then when you have him at gun point, literally standing so close to you that it's impossible to fail the shot, knowing what he have done and how he will continue harassing your group in the future.

You decide to not shoot him?

I know MC is probably like "I can't kill a person" but man, if not for the plot armor, you and all your friends will become his plaything, living like s*aves and seeing you oh so beautiful harem r*ped by a bunch of guys. Come on.

Not to mention he only asks the bully to "apologize" to the classmates he r*ped (2 girls). Like "Oh I'm sorry I left life long trauma on your body and mind in exchange for a bread, lets pinky promise I will not do it again. Btw when get out of point range I will go back to my base next door and continue plotting how to kill and r*pe you all"

Like what kind of fluffy horror zombie stories have the MC been reading, how can specially he, don't know the horrors that humans are capable of.

In contrast I feel the antagonists is more interesting than the MC itself, he is a bastard but knowns his situation and the situation of everyone else, he knows he can push around everyone and does it and when he is at disadvantage he retreats, he knows in which people trust his life and whom he need to throw away. He doesn't let his carnal desires control himself, avoiding simple forward attacks and instead plots how to conquer the whole group, because one he has the power, he can do everything he wants. He is a patient man and that contrast makis this all more infuriating.

I will continue reading and I will change this review depending on how this particular problem gets solved.
