I don't know what happens later in the novel (since I tend to read based on what is translated cuz reading Chinese makes my brain hurt even if I understand it), but so far the novel is good! I see a promise in it and the characters are interesting enough to make me continue reading for now. Plus the translation is definitely one of the better ones out there, I can actually follow along! Give it a try~~

I don't know, I quite like this story. It's interesting in a somewhat wholesome way. The General in a way gets reborn into this girl's body and tries her best to just live life you know. I think it's a bit like fulfilling a wish plus fixing a bad situation sort of story that has a lot of funny potential because of all the females in the story.

You see that the original body's owner had been really messed up cause of her childhood ergo the shitty grandma and dad but also that she herself wasn't someone of strong character. So the general tries to do right by her and girls mother which really warms my heart.

It's not bad, but the story just doesn't have the hook you'd expect. Nothing to keep you that interested, well, at least for me. It is also a bit slow, which I am normally not against, but here it seems to kind of drag. It's alright, might get better later on. But for now I've lost interest.

It had a lot of potential but ultimately it wasn't as good as I hoped. The main pairing don't have that many interactions and this story feels like it was about the side characters instead of the main ones. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wanted to know more about Tuoba Yan. I still enjoyed the side ships, but the main ship really left a lot to be desired.

The thing that really hooked me was the mom x mom side couple since that was surprising and new. Don't really see much of that in stories.

Novel itself was so-so comparing to the other Entertainment circle novel. Feels like author is teenager who writing novel first time and excited and gives too much credit on MC. I got stuck ch85, wondering should I continue or not.

MC and FL's interaction's wasn't that exciting. They just fell in love too quickly. Doesn't have any heart throbbing moments.

And it feels FL actually doesn't have any personality in novel, which such a shame.

But MC and Mother relationship was heartwarming. MC loves her current mother because in past life she hadn't... more>> experienced parenting love which is why she wants to cherish it in current life. <<less

I mean this is not the greatest novel that I've read but it's in my standards of 'its ok to read this when you have a spare of time that you will not get again, and you will probably not be amazed by the ending bc its not that the ending is bad it's just that they did not have a wedding chapter and am sad' list of mine.

The character of Tuobo Yan is great but what irks me is the sub-pairs, some story of them are so.. Like not needed.. And some of the antagonist's background story are too pityful that I think the author can't just write a blacken character, and also the unnecessary sentences of how to make a certain food, whats up with that?
