Here are the flowers he sent me.

I think this is the last bunch of flowers he gave me.

This short story plays on a common trope but adds a little ‘what if?..’. Overall, gives a dreamy feeling because it’s ordered in a way where it talks about what the MC does in the present, then cuts off to their past together and then grows to what happened before the incident- and then the incident. MC deserves what was coming to him; ML didn’t deserve what happened, but what happened, happened. Ain’t no point in crying over spilled milk. Leaves off with MC stunned locked. Would recommend this story.

I don't feel sad for any of them, I honestly and wholeheartedly feel this is only tragic because of the writing, the timeline jumps and before the end it was just mentioned he got married to some woman when ML was alive when just before it was mentioned he was just happy together with the ML for 3 years, you're just starting to question something and it'll talk about another thing without giving any answer. It's probably my reading comprehension that's broken or it's the writing. He picked him up... more>> when ML was 9, they've been together for 8 years and MC celebrated his 26 birthday, maybe they weren't together when ML was picked up and just recently lived together for 8 years? Sure, it's one shot so I can't ask for much. It's hard to immerse or relate to MC because he have only been shown with one stage of grief, no other details on ML's death aside from how and I don't understand the need for pitiful effect by saying the ML only got had a simple wooden box as ash urn when he earns and can spend on celebrations. The length of the novel is okay, if only they took out other useless details and focuses and the difference and helplessness MC felt during the 20 days after he got the flowers. I can't even feel sad or bad for any character, I'm like oh, okay, I see.

Anyway, another novel where the shou died, this is common so it's probably why I'm numb.

5 for the effort of the translators, thank you. <<less
