A mutual first love story between a gentle cool guy pursuing an arrogant beauty.

Fu Wenshan, a hot new singer in the entertainment industry, comes from a prestigious family background and has been harassed by various people since his debut, seeking sponsorship.

Xie Wanxing, a killer for handsome faces, is a rising actor with a low-key yet wealthy background, and a knack for making money.

Neither of them knows each other’s background, but one day they accidentally sleep together.

Upon waking up, Fu Wenshan, seeing Xie Wanxing’s devilishly beautiful face, thinks he’s another person seeking sponsorship.

After a few seconds of contemplation, he reluctantly abandons his principles, takes a drag of his cigarette, and, like a seasoned “sponsorship” demon, says to Xie Wanxing, “You can be with me, just behave and don’t cause trouble. The conditions are up to you.”

It takes Xie Wanxing half a minute to confirm that the person in front of him really wants to sponsor him.

He takes a deep breath and tells himself not to lose his temper.

Then, he slaps him across the face, “Get lost, you’re the one seeking sponsorship!”

Even the hotel you slept in belongs to my family. Who’s sponsoring whom?!

The two of them quarrel like elementary school kids, causing chaos, and vow never to see each other again in their lives.

However, a month later, due to a variety show, they both face a reality check and reunite under the same roof.

I enjoyed this one a lot! Mild disclaimer on the tags that they're "enemies" for barely two chapters, so it's not really a true enemies to lovers, but rather more a s*x friends to lovers trope. There's plenty of denial and mutual pining, and once they confirm their relationship there's actually some explicit smut haha! Wasn't expecting it given how the scenes before had all been fade to black for the most part.

There's really not too much conflict in this novel, and it reads like a slice of life for... more>> the most part, with only two variety shows filmed between the two leads, and the rest of the novel depicting their daily life together as "s*x friends". It's a lighthearted and casual read, and I enjoyed it just as much as every other novel I've read by this author! While the content isn't that deep and the themes are definitely a bit cliche, her characters are always likable and the tropes don't feel overdone or repetitive.

If you're looking for a sweet romance comprised of 99% fluff and the smallest amount of drama, this will definitely satisfy. If you want plot though, you'll probably be disappointed as there's pretty much none to be found beyond the tropes haha, it's a novel you can basically turn your brain off to and enjoy. <<less

Nothing but sweet love, alot of bang bang and pound pound, almost every chapter hehe. But mostly is censored with here comes the next morning or after the fact. But there is one smut chapter which I didn't expect wow exciting.

Very straightforward short story about two proud individual with pure hearts.

No drama, misunderstands gets sort out in the same chapter, both slowly exploring their journey of first love but both trying to put up a front as an experience player. It's funny how they are jealous of each other's non... more>> existence ex partners. ML friends is more the supporting characters int his wife chasing adventure.

Both MC and ML have rootable personalities, they are so cute together and also funny as individuals Handsome, rich, talented with pure hearts that is really rare in entertainment industry and in novels!.

Usually we get 2 straight guys accidentally sleeping together but this time we get both guys knowing their preference and spare us from those dramas of exploring their preferences etc, but accepting the situations fairly quickly and we can skip those painful conflicts of denial. When we all know they will get together sooner or later.

A very short sweet read, if you don't like drama and want a sweet love funny story, this is it I highly recommend. <<less

Cute, short and sweet. Hits the right spots for the misunderstandings trope in a light hearted manner, that still manages to give some heart twinges at times.

Easy to read, laid back novel without deep engagement that’s still enjoyable.

Might re-read if I’m looking for something light and detoxifying.

The Multiple POV doesn't lie. Even thought the start of the story was by the ML, most of the pov was from MC. But it was almost equal in a way this is really the story where both of them was the Protagonists and not because the CP thing.

But it's interesting how I felt the author doesn't wait too long to shows how Good our ML Gong personality is. Of course both character are Flawed, but it's easy to like ML Gong earlier and more than our MC Shou. With... more>> note that I don't dislike our Shou and love him enough with all his flaws.

Anyway the story was so Well Paced, nothing rush nor slow. Sure I was eager for them to end up together for real when they were still in FWB pace, but not for one moment the start of their Intimacy played bad.

This novel don't have any clicle Faceslapping, even though there was this One Villain/Troublemaker who made appearance. Short, but not written bad like stepping stone. And his existence help MC to realise his feelings.

Anyway I really Love how all Relevant people react to our CP before and after they get together. It was so much Fun and truly Enjoyable Lovable.

Also so Satisfying that all Important 'secret' or flashback was Cleared Nicely.

At first, I thought I wouldn't like it. The first 6-8 chapters felt like the usual and cliche story of two people getting into this Friends With Benefits situation under the convenient circumstances. But starting around chapter 15 and onwards, the story flows nicely and we get to see the two sides of the coin. We didn't only get one side of perspective, we get both of them and we learned about both of them slowly throughout the entire novel. And I must say, I love the two of them.

I... more>> love that no one is better than the other. Fu Wenshan and Xie Wanxing are equal in their relationship. No one is below the other. That's what I love. There's no family drama, which is a little bit weird, but seeing that they're not the heir to the family, I can still accept that the parents wouldn't make a fuss about it. The world setting is very good, and the entertainment industry story actually quite okay, though Fu Wenshan's career was touched briefly and was not really mentioned. For a 55 chapters, I think it's decent story, and it's highly entertaining.

I also love the other supporting characters, especially Fu Wenshan's 4 ABCD brother friends. I almost laugh at that nickname, but that's actually awesome calling your friends like that. I would love to have a friend like them, who is so supportive towards each other. No judgement, just care about each other properly.

It's quite entertaining to read the first time, but I don't think I will be as excited reading them the second time. <<less

Super sweet short novel. From a drunken one night stand to friends with benefits to lovers. Each had no prior experience but didn’t want to lose face so made up that they were players. A simple sweet love story.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH MY SOUL

This was good. I didn't even think it was too short or mediocrely paced. No rushing, good buildup of feelings, an extremely cute couple--what more do you want? MC & ML are both budding celebrities, both with extremely great family backgrounds & they accidentally end up in bed together. Ah the power of alcohol. They clash, thinking the worst of each other, but coincidences lead them to see each other more often. Blah blah blah romance.

I won't spoil any more... more>> than that. If you're looking for a simply CUTE, NONPROBLEMATIC, CONSENSUAL ROMANCE WITH TWO HOTTIES... THIS IS FOR YOU BRO <<less

Ooohh!! Such a sweet novel that'll hook you immediately with the first few chapters!! I was in a reading block n this one cured it ! This is a relatively sweet and refreshing novel with minor conflicts. Love it to the bone, I dont really do well with just sweet novels since they bore me to death but this one is so hooking.

The main CP's chemistry is unmatched. MC is a first love, cold type of beauty, while ML is a cool-sweet punky idol. Both has heartbreaker appearance and charm... more>> despite being virg*ns. Really love to read their trope. Erotica is inserted well and doesn't feel forced.

This is an excellent work, and I loved all the moments I witnessed in this novel. It felt like summer evenings among all the rainy and wintery content I consume daily. The translator conveyed the emotions and moods quite well. This is definitely going to be on my favorites list.

Recommend! Not boring at all, I even wanted more it was somewhat brief.

I was enjoying it and then suddenly we're already at past ch 50 and it's over. Worth the read, but felt like the author could have still continued on some more, or I wish we atleast had more extras. The side characters were well developed but due to how short it was I feel like we could've seen a lot more of each character.

It was only hinted at, but imo all the of variety show contestants were future... more>> couples, even the GL one. <<less

An instant favorite. Definitely one of my favorite BL of all time.

We get a lot of cliches in this story but it just works. Or maybe I've just been successfully distracted by the amount of sweet dog food I was stuffed by the main couple. Our MC and ML are so so cute, from the bickering and dislike at the beginning to the clinginess at the end. The two of them somehow start off as FWB, but I never felt any sense of disrespect or emotional coldness during that time—they... more>> were just two ignorant idiots trying to navigate their feelings in an unexpected situation. There's definitely no shyness about physical intimacy thanks to this arrangement, which I greatly appreciate. The two of them slowly realize their own emotions with the help of convenient cliche tropes, and they don't leave each other waiting for long. Love the fact that the two of them are both very privileged and have equal status so there's little family drama. The author definitely spoils her characters, and I'm all for it.

Wish this were longer! Love our adorable boys and their obsession with each other. <<less

Recommended to read!!!

The MC is an actor while the ML is a singer. They have a one night stand accidentally. They put an end to it that day willing to forget, but then again meet up for work. Upon that meeting, both of them sleep again without much thought. After discussing it is not easy to find a partner like themselves, they become friends with benefits and it leads them falling in love unknowingly. The couple was sweet.

The novel would have become very boring if it did not have the... more>> supporting roles, like ML's sister, his friends and family, MC's family.

The writing style was humorous. There were dramatically exaggerated parts which were very funny.

Actually, personally I think it was also the writing style and the supporting roles which kept me going rather than the story of the main couple. Anyway, try this. <<less

This couple, ahhh the intro says it all. They would've saved themselves a lot of heartache if they would've been more honest with each other. Everything is somewhat predictable but the process of getting there was enjoyable.

After their first night, they pretend to be seasoned playboys so the other wouldn't know it was their first time. However, the couple met again during a variety show. Again, they ended up sleeping together so decided to be friends with benefits. By coincidence, they became neighbors and this progressed their romance quickly.

As expected, in the end they came out to their families and later to the their fans and the public.
