Tang San acts exactly like how he did in the first book, literally no change. And how could he not comprehend the workings of his technique that made him successful in his 2nd life (1st book) ? Very lazy writing imo. Expected better from such a veteran writer.

tldr of novel : The man who does a bit of simping in another world. Become stronger, get lucky, beat up the opressors and bugger off the plane with his wife.

- Takes longer than previous DD series to get going (300+ chapters for me)
- MC doesn't change personality through multiple lives.
- Visiting oppresed minorities and helping them go against the oppresors.
- 1/3 of the action being training + leveling up arcs
- 1/3 of the action being TOURRRRNAMENT ARCCC (in Gigguk's voice)
- fill the rest with simping, auctions, building communities, create allies, create revolutionary items, and the usual Tang San shenanigans
- Tried and true Training > Auction > Recruit > Fight cycle
- Author being a teaser with world and character building only to ignore half of it
- sloppy ending (just like author other works)

You could cut the novel in half and still have a good start to finish story, but we spent a bit too much time here and there. Feels more like a mini, recycled DD1 story that has 1000+ chapters.

Not worth a reread imo compared to DD & HJC, as there's nothing I would want to reexperience again that I've already had in author past works.
