When a sudden outbreak in a remote village infects 70% of its population, the government swiftly silences any mention of rabies, zombies, or pandemics.

University student Yan Cheng dismisses the reports as just another hoax—until his phone dies in a freak accident, electrocuting him in the process.

While he struggles to revive his device, chaos erupts on campus as classmates turn into bloodthirsty monsters, the virus spreading like wildfire.

As the world spirals into panic, one question remains: can Yan Cheng survive in a reality that seems straight out of a game—or has his luck already run out?

The story moves way too fast, with no time to really settle into the characters or the world. Everything just happens suddenly, like the author wasn’t fully invested in what they were writing. It’s almost like they skimmed a bunch of apocalypse books, grabbed random bits, and mashed them together without much thought.

The pacing is so rushed that it’s hard to care about what’s happening. The characters don’t get enough attention to feel real, and the world-building feels like an afterthought. Instead of being unique or exciting, it’s just a... more>> pile of familiar tropes thrown together.

Overall, it feels half-hearted. If you’re into post-apocalyptic stories that actually take the time to build tension and make you care, this one probably isn’t for you. <<less
