At first I really did like it. They were a couple who didn't get to finish living their happily ever after in their original timeline. They both got the chance to rebirth and get together sooner. Except I was at 824 and they still haven't gotten married (but they damn sure did the deed despite it being a conservative era).

Like it came a point where I was just reading the same thing over and over, she's showing off her immense resources and cooking the same meals or saying she's... more>> so doted on by her whole family or talking about how badly her past trauma affected her and it won't affect her now (except when the plot needs it). And sometimes it'd be in the same chapter! The cast of characters is so huge and the author give them like a few paragraphs of screentime and they won't be seen again for many chapters. Everyone with talent is somehow related to MC or her husband or her teacher - so of course she benefits from it.

MC supposed to be really smart yet her husband turns her brain to goo each time he tricks flirts with her. It just stopped being cute & funny and became annoying and almost demeaning. The more I read the less I seem to like the MC, she's almost condescending. There's a bit of scorn from her for how conservative the time is and she keeps wishing they could be more free like girl you're young again and get to live your best life, just wait a few years. MC and ML could have married at least 2 different times and they're like lamenting that they still haven't married even though it was their choice to put it on hold as if they couldn't progress if they were married?!?

At this point I'm just here for the drama and a few side characters, tbh they've become more interesting than the main. <<less

She spends an entire chapter and more talking about all the food she has in the space. ALL of it. I stopped here because I don’t expect the author to improve this really confusing story. She woke up somewhere when she was reborn, she is driven to a city for breakfast when she knows that the people who drugged her will come looking for her to pick faults.

I read it thru the MTL.

*Some spoilers*

I must say the beginning of the novel especially it's world building is very good but I am a little bit disappointed on the character developments. Like how some of the characters just disappear then never mentioned again, when just in previous chapters they were in the forefront (ie. Gu Jinfeng aka fourth brother or Gu Juxian aka Fifth brother).

... more>> Also, how out of nowhere, they introduced another set of characters then leave it again hanging (ie. Lu Quinlang and Han family arc)

I just feel like the initial characters are wasted and could have been developed more.

And finally, after the main characters were married they seem like become second characters even the main essence of the FML having a space was not even utilized. It's just saddens me. Because GQY and MB have a unique personalities and they where not explored fully, Where in the first place I read this for them.

(Updated: 2nd Reread) I've read this once before, and even got pretty far (c505), but I hadn't gotten into the habit of leaving an official review back then. I still vaguely remember my first impression tho, and on one of my lists, I left a comment behind saying: "It's not bad... It's not the most realistic and the pacing is a bit too slow. The romance and the MC are also a bit disappointing — they're total MarySues/GaryStus. But, anyway, if you're into poor-to-rich and interested in this particular era, it's not a bad read. At the very least, even if the characters are not the most complex, they're not as bad as the characters of other similar stories." This time, I went further along, almost reaching the 1000th... more>> chapter, and I have to say, my impression didn't change much. Though the experience was a little easier because I knew what to expect (more on this later!) First, let's talk about the basic content of the story...

SUMMARY: The FL, Gu Qingyao, had been traumatized early on in her first life because of a couple of cannon fodders, causing her to waste a lot of her youth recovering. Fortunately, the ML, Mo Beihan, stuck to her no matter what. Helping her slowly come out of her shell and heal from the accident that ruined her life. It's just that fate isn't very kind. Just when the two were finally preparing to get married, their lives were cut off in an accident. This should be the end, but the two find themselves waking up in the past, on the day of that first 'accident'. Of course, with memories of the future, the two were able to easily change the trajectory of fate. And from then on, their path forward is pretty smooth.

This is the kind of story where the FL and ML don't go through many hardships. Sure, they have their share of cannon fodders to deal with, but overall, they don't face much difficulties. Not only does the FL have a cheat in the form of a magical space (which can both be used to store things and grow things — tho, tbh, it's not really used to it's fully extent), but they both have hidden backgrounds that will allow them to stand tall in society when the time came for the country to open up (this novel starts off in the early 1970s)

THOUGHTS: TBH, this novel isn't all that good. The quality is a little iffy. But when compared to other novels of the same type? It's quite outstanding LMAO. At least, it should be enough to keep you interested if you generally like poor-to-rich stories set in this era. Just make sure to keep your expectations low. I knew rereading this that the FL and ML were unnecessarily OP, and that their romance was pretty much set (their marriage is delayed again and again but there's no doubt about them getting together from the beginning since they were both reborn — OH, BTW, the two won't admit to being reborn to each other for a while. Just ignore it, else, you're only going to get agitated.) Anyway, those two are the main characters but their relationship is definitely not the focus. The author introduces quite a big cast, and a lot of them get more screen time than the ML (honestly, I also find it weird that the author kept his businesses so vague. Even the so-called family business of the Mo Family was kept completely mysterious XD.)

I can go on, BUT in short. If you want to read this, try not to be too picky XD. Otherwise, you may find yourself wanting to ragequit. Bah, if I continue like this, I make it sound unreadable HDKDKDKDKD, which is not true. It's pretty fun if you're into such stories. Just not the best. Ah, speaking of... Since I read more than half of the novel, I'll be giving this an official rating this time. Which is... 3.76/5!! Seems low, but it rounds up to 4stars, and I think it's even higher than it should be. I gave it additional points for keeping me interested despite the length and slow pacing. <<less

This novel is good but the synopsis does not do the justice.I almost miss this novel because of the synopsis. HUFTTT

So the story is about Gu Qingyao and Mo Beihan, in their last life just before their married, they died because of their enemy. Luckyly, Mo Beihan come back to the past, and he prevent their unlucky things happen again. At first he does not know that Gu Qingyao is also reborn, but qith the clue, he is sure Gu Qingyao is reborn same as him. Gu Qingyao is also... more>> pretty smart and learn from the past. She became a brave woman and smart. And one by one their enemy will be defeat. Oh btw they will have children too, with the same character as Mo Beiyao HAHAHA. Btw, this novel does not really dog blood, so if you tired to feel angry but still want to read novel like this, I will recommend this, because although sometimes I will feel angry, but it is not so often <<less

I Loved this story. The plot was realistic for the era. Although the Female Lead had a space it wasn't some all powerful cheat. The faceslapping of those people trying to break up their marriage was Hilarious.

It was long but not boring, the lives of their friends and family was seamlessly integrated into the story without moving away the ML and FL.

Amazing!! I love the interactions between ML (MBH) and MC (GQY) !! Sooo cutee! Other characters also has interesting personalities too. The world building is great, very descriptive of how people think, act and get treated in those days. Love the drama and faceslappings 😂 The story really gets going after you get pass how OP her space is. This novel has so many arcs to enjoy, follow the MC as she supports her family and from living in the country side to the city. I also felt that the... more>> extras really wrap up all the other characters' lives really well.

The MTL is not hard to read if you wanted to read the whole novel as soon as possible 😁

I think this story could be considered as completed because be it in the raw and translated version, the story ended in the same chapter, only the chapter's number was a bit different. Anyhow, here's my review.

I always enjoy rebirth and revenge story the most and this story was one of them. FL was gentle but not weak and she was very smart and ML was typical doting husband but outwardly cold and ruthless towards other people. They loved each others but an accident prevented them from being together. They... more>> got reborn together and instantly got together afterwards which was to my liking because I hate pull and push relationship the most. There's no misunderstanding between them and they're very loving till the end, so if you don't want to read anything angsty, this story was the right choice for you.

The first arc revolved around FL and ML's life in the village. This arc was quite long, unlike the next arc when FL went aboard to study. The next arc was when FL was back in China and got married to ML. This arc was also quite long and wasn't as rushed as the aboard arc. Then there were many side stories about FL's kid and other friends or family member. I personally like the third arc the most because the pace was moderate, unlike the first arc which was a bit too slow and the second arc which was a bit too rushed.

Now, let's talk about the story's flaw. Mainly, the flaws were about many characters that went MIA in the later chapters of the story. I know it was almost unavoidable in the story more than 1000++ because in the end, the author wouldn't be able to keep up with so many characters in the story. However, I still want to mention it to whoever wanted to read it.

    • ML had a maternal family in the village. His uncle was quite good but his grandma was a mean and greedy one. With that kind of character, it's a bit unbelievable that she didn't make a ruckus to ML when it's revealed that he was an heir of a rich family in capital. With her character setting, she should want to reap a benefit from ML but she was never metioned again after ML moved to the capital. Even the good uncle seemed to be forgotten by ML.
    • There was also FL's village chief who was so kind to FL's family in the difficult time but he was also forgotten by FL and her family.
    • Remember Sun Mei? She's one of FL's enemy in the village and ML made her married into a shady family but the author never mentioned what happened to her after that.
    • There's also Chen siblings who reunited with FL in the capital but after Yuan Yuan found her family, they're instantly forgotten.
    • What about the other Qin family in France who set their eyes on another Qin family's daughter, Qin Si? They're only mentioned in the beginning of the second arc but never mentioned again after that.
    • Who was the sickly nobleman that MC cured in France and what's his dealing with FL? He was also never mentioned again.
    • What about Grandpa Mo's fake sister? Her child was the one who kidnapped Yuan Yuan in the past but she was never arrested for her crime.
    • What about ML's mother? ML wanted her to marry again so she could have a company but she was never mentioned again.
    • Why the author made side story about the Li guy who wasn't even a recurring character in the story? The other Mo brothers other than Mu Mu didn't even get one.
    • Why the author didn't even continue the story about Chu Zheng and Mo Shengsheng? Well, at least Mo Shengsheng was mentioned in the story, unlike her invisible twin brother who seemed to be forgotten by entire family.

Aside from those complaints, I still think this story was quite enjoyable to read, especially if you loved revenge and face slapping novel. Although it had more than 1000 chapters, each chapter wasn't that long so it didn't take long to finish. <<less

Love it.

read it several times over the years. Though there stops and restart but I never got tired of repeatedly reading this story.

The Couple Lead were strong after rebirth. They don’t fight unless they have too. Their family is United.

1. Keep Studying as Education is a valuable treasure that can’t be stolen and your starting point to get ahead in life.

2. Unity, loyalty and harmony in the family brings success as everyone moves in one direction for their goal.

3. Love... love for family, friends, children and spouses would make you willingly dote, tolerate, correct errors, protect and be filial to your elders. <<less

It was initially enjoyable to read. And then it got boring. I expected the FL to have more character and be more interesting, but it became too much about her exposed powerful background. This novel could have stopped once the drama stopped, but it had to keep going until the ML and FL's child (although I didn't read into it). And there were also more love interests between the supporting characters, and those could have been another side story.

okay synopsis does not do any justice, well for me its good the story is well paced and I like that it shows almost everyone's happy ending, though some characters were forgotten maybe because it has gotten to long and hey maybe because there's a lot of characters but the good thing every revenge was done. There were no more enemies. This story mainly shows how a girl with a magical space changed her tragic life to a happy willy life, all family members treasured there girls
