all I can say that this novel is amazing, has a faint views on politics. I SPECIALLY LOVE FENG YU. Definitely one of the decent novels I read. There are scenes where I wished I am her, shes just a badass, strong female protagonist with some humane soft spot in her

This is such a well written example of this genre, and well translated. I think it’s greatest strength is in the core characters - especially now as the story wraps up I’m already prepared to actually miss some of them.

The story’s other main strength would be in the romance between the two main characters - not only in watching them come to understand and truly adore each other but also in watching them learn to be adults together, with responsibilities in the world of the story.

I’m sad the story is... more>> almost over, I’m hoping the author writes another one! <<less

I fell that the plot was quite good, but a after a while it became a little heavy for my taste.

Love this story so much that I've barely slept and binge read it all week. 😂 It can get a bit tedious at times but I'm just so invested in all of the characters at this point. The translations are one of the best I've come across, really well done. A lot of novels are barely readable, but this is translated so well by Spring Rain that it's almost like reading an English novel, hardly any mistakes. The chapters are really long, which I love! More to read the better!

Our female lead starts this story out miserably under sad conditions, as she takes over a body that has gone through hell. Since she transmigrated from an adult body they of course didn't forget to make her ridiculously overpowered in every way though, so not to worry.

Let me first say, I enjoy this story. While a lot I'll say might come out as negative, but a lot of this is just too satisfying so you can overlook the flaws of this story. It is written in an easy-to-read way and... more>> the characters are likeable for sure. The more comedic side to it is the constant shameless revenge the female lead keeps taking, together with the help of male lead.

Now, the problem I have is that FL is too overpowered that it's painful. Just as soon as you think she might actually go through a hard time for once, some ridiculous thing will happen to save her. Not to mention her private pharmacy dimension space where she has like all sorts of medicine from her past life, the author keeps adding things to it throughout the story to make her even more overpowered. Think "Dmn I'm really in trouble now. Oh and by the way look at this little rifle I found in the basement of my pharmacy, good thing I added that before I died".
Really, it feels like the author is just dishing out the dream scenarios here. But without any hard times, how can you truly appreciate the good times?
Another flaw is the bad guys, without going into spoilers. They NEVER learn from their mistakes and keep going with their weak schemes. It's so painful to see and they're always so stupid, truly my least liked kind of bad guys...

On a more positive note, our FL is quite arrogant which is charming in a way, but she also gets annoying. So she's not 100% perfect, and that's always a great comfort to me. The side characters are RIDICULOUSLY charming and fun to follow, I can never get enough of them. Don't think I mentioned male lead much, he comes in strong but then basically becomes FL's love slave and fades into the background. Anyway, in a way it's fun to see.
Definitely recommend this story though. It's a nice, long read. It is at least worth giving a chance to see if you like the way it flows or not. <<less

Ok... I did wrote I read up to 408, but actually I MTL it to the end while skipping some actually a lot of chapter.

I was enjoying it at first, but things starting to get boring. Ok, I can get through the boringness, but then these came

  • She secluded herself in the mountain to make steel for 3 months yet the problem coming right after that isn't that big... Like, in 3 months with people that have brains would definitely make something more troublesome. The author clearly didn't give them brains on purpose..
  • MC's mother died.... Like.. WHAT THE HELL?? that is the one thing that makes me mad the most. Sacrifices must be made, but why the mother?
  • Xiao Rong (I think?) Is getting annoying on later chapters.. she madly in love with the 7th prince yet abandoned the one who truly loves her. This is breaking my heart so hard, like, why?
  • MC getting too emotional easily near the end.

This is all, in the end, based on my perspective. I will continue reading it later when I'm in the mood, since we all now previously I read through MTL, so it might change if I read proper translations (since the team really done well on it). If it get worse, I won't lower the rating because of my love for this novel (this novel is the one making me love to read CN novels now). But if it actually get better, I'll definitely higher it up! <<less

I was totally captured by the manga, but it was spotty and seemed like it was jumping a lot. Then, I read in the comments that the novel was getting translated and I hopped on and found it. I definitely recommend this novel. It has the perfect amount of intrigue, great world building and evolving characters.

Seriously, what are you waiting for?

EDIT: At chapter 550 or so, the story feels like it's lost its charm. The MC has gotten too ruthless and overpowered to the point where she's no longer likable, and the political drama is a drag. Heck, actually, most of the characters are no longer likable, because they're too entitled about what they deserve in life. MC's little brother, ML's mom... they're all really spoiled. I miss the lighter fare of the first 500 chapters.

Original review at c476:

Overall, the story has an engaging plot that continues to have... more>> some good twists and turns and holds interest. The cast of characters have some well-rounded personalities that evolve over the course of the story, and the royal family is especially fleshed out. The MC is a little OP, but if you can deal with that and the weirdly heavy dose of sexism involved with the story, overall you find yourself rooting for her. My main issue that keeps it at a 4 instead of a 5 is that the character's attitude changes from modern to ancient at random to fit the author's plot needs. The most egregious thing to me is that sometimes she says that she doesn't want to kill because she's "modern" and "doctors value all life", but then the next chapter, she's going around beating people bloody or straight up committing murder with no hesitation or remorse. Still, if you can handle that, the intrigue is good and the banter is fun, especially after the love interest appears. If you're on the fence, it's worth it to give it a try for the translator - they update really regularly, and the quality of the translation is pretty good. <<less

This definitely lives up to it's hype. I have never commented anything here in novelupdates but I just made an account to say that I've been enjoying this series, I completely forgot to critique in my mind and just go with the flow. It's the top of the line in the transmigration stories because of her magic space.

I do quite enjoy this story and the translator is doing a fantastic job with only a few errors here and there.

IMO, the FL is likable because unlike other novels, she actually talks backs instead of staying quiet and crying to the ML for help.

So the MC has a small pharmacy she can access which contains medicine to help her out. Well, you find out that the items never run out, it's suddenly a convenient store with various foods, and then there's a surgery room in there. That makes the story too easy to cheat because if there is ever a major conflict the solution is *BAM* cheat.

Honestly, it's nice how quickly conflicts get resolved, but what is annoying at times is that sometimes there wasn't a need to cheat, but the author threw it in there anyways for the hell of it.

- pulling out a mirror as a gift (wasn't just a regular mirror, it was a mirror encrusted with jewels that happened to be in the pharmacy)
- pulling out ingredients to make the tastiest dumplings ever (why was this necessary for the story?? She's a doctor not a chef)

Now I might just be nitpicking but, I am also confused as to how she pulled out all of those medicines and it did not have a single label on it. It was supposed to be a pharmacy where you sell medicine to actual people and you're telling me nothing is labeled? Even small pills have a little label on the pill for the dosage, brand, type, etc.

For the reason above, that's why I took a star off, other than that, it was an enjoyable read for me. <<less

I love her cheat system! Especially the computer! Hahahaha!

Anyways, MC doesn't give a sh*t and there was a lot of 21st-century stuff appearance. I almost dropped this novel but patience is a virtue. For me, it's good but not to the point where there's "WHOA!" effect. I find the ending unsatisfying.

The novel is a good one, as usual, we have our face slapping moments, bastard of a father, loving fiance, and a scheming sister. The translator's updates are stable 1 chap each day (maybe 2). Overall I love it, don't know about chu but I'm loving this novel, especially A-heng and 9th prince moments YIEE~
