The divine beast cub living in the Classic of Mountains and Seas opened its eyes and became the little prince of the Qichao royal family.

The little prince had no mother, and no one to love him.

—-It seemed like he wouldn’t live past the age of three.

——

The cub who transmigrated in didn’t want to die like this.

He struggled to move his short legs, stumbling out to find food for himself.

Bang!

The cub bumped into the most favored but ruthless noble consort in the harem.

Cub: “Fin, finished.”

——

Later, the most arrogant and impatient noble consort, seeing the mischievous cub climbing trees, spent the whole afternoon coaxing him gently.

“Cub, be good, mother loves you the most. Come down, mother won’t scold you.”

——

The cub, favored and spoiled by the noble consort, had the ability to foresee the future.

He saw the beautiful but lovesick noble consort mother, ultimately executed by the ruthless dog emperor.

The eldest brother, who had the greatest talent for governing the country, died wrongly due to human error

The bright and passionate second sister was offered to the aging emperor of Great Qing for reconciliation.

The gentle and smiling third brother, the year after the eldest brother’s death, followed him.

The domineering fourth brother, the reserved and shy fifth sister…

None of them had a good ending.

Their country was also destroyed by the cruel young crown prince of Great Qing.

——

The cub, who foresaw the ending, looked at his beloved mother and siblings.

He puffed up his cheeks and changed everyone’s fate one by one!

For the lovesick noble consort, the cub helped her.

For the brothers and sisters who were to be sacrificed to Great Qing, the cub packed his little bag and went himself!

——

Seeing the cub being sent away, the royal brothers, sisters, and noble consort looked at the palace gate, their eyes red with tears.

The noble consort mother was completely cured of her lovesickness and began to reform the ruthless dog emperor.

The princes no longer fought internally but tearfully swore—

For the cub’s humiliation today, they would repay it in the future!

——

In the eyes of relatives, the cub would surely be humiliated when he arrived at Great Qing.

However, no one expected.

The most ruthless crown prince of Great Qing was now half-kneeling by the bed, coaxing the drunken cub.

“I won’t destroy your country, I won’t let you be the fallen country’s little prince.”

“Whatever you say, goes.”

——

*Childhood sweethearts, collectively pampered cub

*Very sweet

I was looking for something similar to After Transmigrating into a Book, My Father Emperor Could Hear My Inner Voice - ie something set in the harem but about the children - and this did not disappoint.

There's a nice mix of antagonistic forces (from political enemies, to those in the harem), but the series doesn't lose its heart-warming tone. The MC's interactions with everyone are absolute cuteness (though I do wonder how everyone seems to think its normal for a two year old to be able to do multiplication??? I... more>> guess they just assume he's precocious. In fairness, as a Rui beast, it makes sense that he'd be able to do more than an actual two year old, but they don't know that.)

It's nice to see him winning over everyone and how he holds his own morality, despite everyone else pretty much telling him the opposite

Spoiler

Consort Yi (his mum) telling him he shouldn't save his brothers just because they don't like him. Smh. Thankfully our MC has a greater sense of moral obligation than that.

[collapse]

The real villains are the adults behind the children who chip away at any sibling relationships they might have had.

I wasn't really prepared for

Spoiler

the emperor to be the villain developing behind the scenes - with him showing more tendencies to become the autocratic, won't-give-up-my-throne stereotypical emperor than I was expecting

[collapse]

Not that I have a problem, I just feel like it came out of a the blue. It could've been an interesting examination of how people have different faces/conflicting goals, given how well he treats the MC, but the transition just wasn't there.

Spoiler

In the beginning, the author loudly proclaims that the emperor is in the prime of his life, his strength abounds etc. etc., but then a year (?) later, he's having to take medicine to deal with high blood pressure and shouldn't be stressed.

[collapse]

Foreshadowing needed. (Reading more, I'm pretty sure what I thought was an abrupt transition was the author attempting foreshadowing... Because afterwards he goes back to being nice and doting again. In which case... That's not exactly how foreshadowing works)

Other than that, I like the relationship between the MC and Ah Wu, especially as the latter always respects MC's choices and feelings (like redacting his request for the MC to go with him when the MC is sad because he's having to choose between too many people that he loves - he'd rather get the MC later than stress him now).

In conclusion: this is a book that keeps you reading without giving you a heart attack from worrying about the main leads. The supporting characters main traits are "we love the MC, he's so cute" but, you know, sometimes that's exactly what you need. And this book pulls it off well. <<less

Idk what chapter I stop, but the MC has met the ML. Sadly they both also still babies n I can't imagine how babies develop romantic feelings? Perhaps since both of them were beast creatures on another world, thus even if they're young they actually have different age system (like how five years old cat should be older in cat's age) , but still... the plot tire me.

At first it was family fluff n children cuteness blending in palace struggles, ... more>>
Spoiler

but the characters are mostly underage (literally below 5 years old) n the way they interact is too mature. Pretty sure no 5 years old prince could have such manipulative nature or understood mu*derous scheme in reality, but even if it's fantasy the surrealism is too much. My brain just can't accept this illogical plots.

[collapse]
Got tired of it for now, idk if I'd remember to continue later. <<less

It's a pretty good novel overall but I still feel like the ending was rushed. I like the story, there's alot of characters and their storyline is quite fun. But the MC doesn't really go through any character development, he stays the same. The age range (2 years old?? 5 years old??) was also a little weird because it seems to be kids but not kids?

Overall it's a pretty good novel, I just didn't like that the retributions were one-line and they don't really expand on follow-ups of the antagonists.... more>> I was also rooting for Ling Chen/Murong Xu and Ling Yi/Shuishui but I still don't know what happened to them. Overall, I like it, but I can't help but be frustrated with some parts because it's rushed. <<less

Kind of a casual brainless sort of story whereby the main character is a cute baby. You don't need to crack your head to read this story. As mentioned in the summary, it is a healing story. Basically it's about our baby MC Ling Rui who transmigrated to this Great Qing dynasty as only more than a year old (+3 years living as a Rui cub in a different world) forgotten Seventh Prince. The baby is a Rui. A sort of lucky prosperous creature. He has a special ability of seeing the future when he touches someone. Using this ability, he will then save his friends and family. That's basically it. The baby MC is the first naughty baby I've read about that is so realistic. The baby gets into ALOT of trouble. But he is also so CUTE that he charms a lot of people. The people that want to harm him are usually related to the people who don't want him on the throne. He is very loved by the Emperor and the mothers/relatives of the other Princes hate him. Luckily Baby MC's siblings also love him a lot. So there is some drama regarding the throne and politics but its very little. The ML also transmigrated from the alternate world. He is a ferocious creature and is very fierce but he restrains himself for MC. His name is Ah Wu and he protects the baby MC. As mentioned, this story is kinda illogical with multiple plotholes but just enjoy it. A random example:

Ah Wu in his ferocious beast form is so trusted by baby Ling Rui's family for some reason.

One of the more ridiculous scene is when Ling Rui is kidnapped and he is finally going to be sent back to the Emperor and his mum - the Murong family just allows Ah Wu to send Ling Rui back??? With no escorts?? And when Ling Rui arrives back, nobody questions how it appeared without anyone sending him home.

Oh well. Just treat it as a cute story to read about babies growing up. I enjoyed the extras whereby Ling Chen gets together with
Spoiler

Murong Xu

It’s not bad. I did stop 2/3 in tho.

I enjoyed MC being cute. And the plot was a bit interesting with the slight fantasy elements. I do feel like I lost a bit of understanding because I was reading through mtl. I simply got bored after a while. And I was getting confused about the timeline and MC’s age.

I might comeback to this.

It's a pretty good novel overall. It's not supposed to be a very complicated that really goes into deal about palace struggles. It's a healing, sort of slice of life novel. The MC is a Ling Rui who transmigrated because he used all his merits to save ML. We don't really get an explanation on why ML needs saving. The baby has the ability to see the future of someone and using this, he tries to change the futures of people he love.

The MC is very cute and lovable. He... more>> is so much smarter than a normal 2 year old would be but the author justifies it by saying he's been a Rui for 3 years already, meaning his mental age is around 5 years even if his current body is only 2 years old. The story itself is pretty realistic about how it's like raising a 2/5 year old with how much trouble he gets up to. He's very loved by the Emperor, siblings and his mother. Even though he wants to help change the future, he asks for help when he doesn't know what to do and his solutions are pretty childish, which aligns with his age.

The ML is a ferocious creature. He is very loving and caring towards to the MC but doesn't really care about other people's matters otherwise. He transmigrated into the body of a prince from another country. MC and ML are able to communicate with each other everytime MC uses his ability. We don't really get to see ML's ability other than the fact he's very strong and fast enough to cross countries and meet up with MC when needed.

There are a bunch of plot holes or unexplained thoughts throughout the story.

Spoiler

The noble consort mother and her family just being fine with MC and ML being creatures. There is no questions or hesitations, they just accept them and doesn't really explain why they aren't freaked out. They don't even really try to get information about what sort of creatures MC and ML are.

[collapse]

Spoiler

MC gets falls into the water and ends up being sold as a s*ave. The person he gets sold to turns out to be his bio mother's sister who is a royal family member of a grassland tribe. He is then asked by the aunt to either stay and be the prince of their tribe or go back but spy on the royal family for them. We get zero information about the tribe, the bio mom or the aunt. We don't know how his bio mom who is a royal member of a tribe ends up marrying the Emperor, why the bio mom dies in the first place or why the aunt hates the Emperor. The tribe lets MC go with the (somewhat) promise of him spying on the royal family for them but there is no follow up after that. We don't see them communicating after that, no backlash on the MC for not giving information or them trying to get him back to be the prince of their tribe.

[collapse]

Spoiler

MC marries the ML. And somehow they live in both countries (they aren't merged) and MC is still able to have a say in his home country's court. That's pretty unrealistic and we aren't given an explanation on how they did it or what the court and people say about it.

[collapse]

In terms of villains, I wouldn't really say the Emperor is one. He's a great father but not a good ruler. He treats MC very well and slowly we can see him letting go of his power and just focusing on his family. As for the other princes and princesses, I would say while he doesn't treat them like MC, he also isn't horrible to them. At the very least, he isn't plotting to kill any of them for power. He's one of the best Emperor fathers I've seen on an overall scale on how they treat all their children. He does overthink things a bit and get suspicious about the military power but that's pretty much every emperors. He also like beauties a lot but again, all emperors. We can't really hold him to modern standards on being a father or a husband.

The author does a bit of foreshadowing in the first part of the story where all the princes are getting in trouble and in danger constantly. However, it really goes nowhere. We don't really know who's behind it or why and there isn't any follow up after that. Some reviews think it was the Emperor but I don't really think so and we aren't given a precise conclusion.

I do wish we had a bit more side stories. I would have loved to see more on MC and ML current life after they got married, Ling Yi and Shuishui (shipping them), the Big Boss and his partner, etc. <<less

Doting Family... Doting Love Interest... It's such a Precious and Lovely Fluffy novel ever!!!

Sure there's still a drama. The hidden Scheme and Conspiracy of the Imperial Harem and Politic. But so far it wasn't too Heavy (yet?). The Emperor Father and Noble Concubine Yi aka MC's adopted Mother love MC truly. MC also able to steal his Older Siblings' heart by being Kind, Genuinely, Caring, Funny, Loving, and most importantly Adorable Dumpling!

MC is truly a Handful child. But in a way where people can't hate him when he like you... more>> and care for you. His older siblings so far love and care about him too after all the interaction they have. But too bad the Siblings' mothers... They either Paranoid or Bad. They still don't believe the Pure Hearted MC. Even when the Princes doesn't want to fight or have Negative thought, their mothers... They can't argue. Most of them still underage in modern age sense. So they're not proper adult yet either.

Honestly while I believe this novel would be a Healing story, I do still have concern what would happen to everyone when they grow up. I truly hope the author won't make unnecessary drama. So far all the conflict were well understandsble, so I have no complain. And I hope it stays that way.

I truly Love the Familial Love in this novel. MC truly love his Family, and I hope they keep loving MC too till the end.

Anyway the story is both like A Shounen and Shoujo series. Our protagonist truly have a Big Role to change people's destiny from the Bad one. Though he still just a Toddler, but he's also a Non-human and his Love for his Family makes him ready to Fight his way to Protect his Loved people. And I truly Love him for that!!!

I just pray so hard the rest of the story truly gave us the satisfaction everyone deserve!!! <<less

Our MC is a cute chubby cheeked little dumpling and wins over everyone in his life by being a cutie patootie.

There is some court intrigue in this story it’s not given that much focus for it to be dramatic, it’s usually something that happens in the background of the daily life of our MC.

Our ML is very impressive and capable and as a character mentioned on the story there are only two types of people in his life - the MC and everyone else. Every decision he makes is calculated... more>> to be the best decision that will protect his Zai Zai.

This isn’t a story that needs to be taken that seriously and I’m glad for it. I’m def not here for the complicated schemes that come with stories based in a royal dynasty but I am here for Little seven being the favourite sibling in the family and being doted on. <<less

It's adorable!

It's really nice to read how MC grows up and how MC deals with all the situations happening around him.

I especially adore his relationship with his adopted mother (Consort Yi) and his siblings.

... more>> At first, most of his siblings didn't really like him because they have different mothers and those mothers don't like them being close.

However, it's MC's genuine care and love for his siblings that makes them care for MC despite their own moms trying to make them stay away from MC.

As of now (I've read upto ch 108), I divide the story in two:

1st part - MC's life in the Qi kingdom. Mostly him interacting with his relatives. MC talks a lot with ML in his mind here but ML only has minimal scenes.

2nd part - MC's life in Guan Shan Residence (a school run by people from the future) and his daily interactions with ML (ah wu).

As of ch 108, there's no romance between ML and MC because they are 3-10 years old.

But!

The story is still very interesting because MC is truly like a kid, he's very mischievous so he gets in a lot of trouble. He's also insanely sweet and adorable.

1 thing I didn't like that much tho are:

    • The story started with MC being 1 years old. And for a 1 year old, he was too smart for me w/c I found illogical because he can already communicate and have logical reasoning. It might have been better if MC was around 3-5 years old.
    • I didn't like it that much as in the 2nd arc, people kept on referring to MC as "the little one". I get it that MC is way young but it just sounded awkward especially when at the first arc, he's more referred to as Little Prince or Little Seven. Anyhoo I'm just being nitpicky haha
Overall, I really enjoyed this story! Thanks to the author and translator!
