This novel was just okay. It got boring at times. The romance was hardly there, atleast in my opinion. Not sure if this is a spoiler but there was no kiss!! Just one peck would have sufficed. 😭😭

I'm not gonna rate this (cuz I'm always honest on my rating but for the first time, I feel guilty if I rate this low and affect the traffic of those who are potential readers as the translator is such a wonderful person)

Anyway, translation-wise, it may not be the best. But anyone who wants to read a novel but broke asf to buy the legit book as well as lazy asf to do the translation themselves, HAS NO REASON to complain about it not being perfect. That being said, storywise, it's a 3/10 for me. It really started nice. And it's really amazing that the author had made use of the modern knowledge and made the FL use them. But for some f*ckinng reason, along the way, the FL loses her braincells and all the knowledge any transmigrator f*cking knows about villains. Like

by chap 60, she has this gut feeling there was something wrong with Mikael guy, but she just f*cking disregard it. Like WTF, what happened to all the modern and novel reader knowledge you had applied so far. Why tf did you turn off your brain????? And for some dumb reason too, she's supposed to be OP asf when she unlocked her Saintess powers but she's basically a damsel in distress during the action/fight scene?????? Bruh???? And don't get me started on the Queen. She just disappears. Like it wasn't explicitly stated what happened to her. After all the innocent people she sacrificed, there was no karma explanation. She and her goons just disappeared. And that's the thing I HATED THE MOST on any manhwa or novel I read. The only clear explanation was the son (2nd brother) who was technically exiled, but in reality, he's helping the people and reconstruction to atone on his mother's deeds.

I really like edel and richt. Edel has a knack for good looking people, so she thought richt will never love her as he's the heroine's, she was treating him like her bias but richt thought she loved him.

And his jealous look is also cute. Now new character Michaelran came, so let's see how it will unfold.

Talking about tn, she's doing a wonderful fantastic job. The translations are super smooth, fast and she's finishing at a fast speed. I like it. Don't mind hypocrite tn, in c60 I saw you were sad to hear inbox curse to ur family. But don care about them just do what u r doing, girl! <<less

Another fantastic story picked up by Book Lover Slytherin! The ML is hilarious, and our FL is super fun. I love magical applications of modern inventions and business. I’m eagerly awaiting for the whole story to be translated :))). Will update the review of the story once the story is finished.

Note about the translator: their process of translating is to completely translate a novel (very quickly mind you!!) and then go back later in time to edit the chapters. I absolutely adore this method, because it means I don’t have... more>> to wait months and months to figure out how the story ends, and their unedited translations are still easy to understand if you have basic reading comprehension skills. Usually once they have completely finished editing and proofreading is when they upload the links to NU. And their edited version is always extremely high quality!

Unfortunately, this time someone else linked the chapters to NU at the beginning stages of their translation, so people new to the site might not understand that they’re viewing the unedited version. So, if you’re someone who can’t tell that Richt and Licht or Cayden and Kaden are the same names, or can’t stand reading repeating paragraphs, then wait a couple months before coming back to the translation. I really wanted to read this; interesting characters nd plot. But it changes pov without notice, conversations appear half missing, rarely states who is talking by the quotations, and half of the quotations are inner thoughts and not said out loud but there is no distinction of that in this translation, so I am am ch 17 and I have the jist of the story and I’m into the story but I really wish I understood who was saying what to who out loud and in their minds. I’m unsure whether this is a translation problem or how the original is written, I assume how the original is written because other than the confusion of speaking out loud vs thoughts vs who is speaking, it seems well translated (and the tn does note that it’s still unedited so I don’t want to be too harsh) - all in all I’m just grumpy that I don’t understand who’s talking to who or thinking what <<less

This book can be classified as a-little-below-average in this genre: 2 stars. Here are the reasons:
The story until chapter 49 is so bubbly, so precious that when I started reading this I couldn't drop my phone for a while... Then. The ML disappeared for 20 long chapters (while they were living in the same palace on top of that).... FL entered a super duper pointless business developing arc. After that ML was in the scene as a background character for a while, was in and out for shorter periods... Their relationship couldn't get further because FL was obsessed with the OGFL's arrival and kept closing eyes at ML's reactions to her. That's one big cliche that I'm very bored of...

Also, there is this whole premise that FL talks her thoughts sincerely while he sleeps and gets his heart to move. BUT! She stops talking with him after he wakes up. It wasn't even a short time, until the whereabouts of OGFL were explained, , she stayed like that. SO UNSATISTIFING. Like the author killed her whole character.

Ugh, , the ending... Concluded so pettily because of that ridiculous antagonist. After the big event, I naturally waited for romance-focused chapters but we got the opposite of that. All we had was the perspective of a random person after "things" were settled.... Just why?????? WHY??? Give them a marriage arc or something. They weren't even in a relationship dammit.

There were so many elements that were left untouched, here is two of them:
The author gave us this cute book-loving but had to be on the bad side 2nd Prince: Totally forgot it. Used him for half of a chapter. Then POF! gone.
The duke's apprentice who is a magic stone nerd: Was on the main stage for a while. After a while the author didn't gave him any screen time at all. Instead, the story focused on pointless tea parties and such.

Ah, the more I write the more I want to give this a lower score. I should stop. That's it.

I cannot read further than ch10. As stated by another reviewer, the story is hard to read. Conversations are half missing, topics swivel around and border nonsense, and answers do not match prompts in conversations. There are also trivial inconsistencies which probably come from the translator's end. For example, is it Melis, Melise or Meliz? Is she a count or a duke? The story also suffers from the general JP/KR webnovel faults. Characters are overly simplistic, like personifiers of singular traits rather than actual human personalities. Villains suffer from this... more>> the most. The actions and thoughts of villains make them look immature and frankly, they do not seem threatening. They are comically villainous, and I am unable to take it seriously. This type of novel attempts to have some semblance of a serious story and not just a comedy shtick, but fails to pull it off due to terrible writing. I am personally no longer able to stomach reading such a style, so I have been disappointed by Korean novels as of late. However, I do want to give props to the translator. For the most part, translation was better than many others I've read. Grammar is consistent and readable. Anyway, if you are able to read stories that are half-baked and terribly written, you can try this one out. Translation is one of the better ones I've seen recently. <<less
