Su Mingyuan has become a villain in the world of urban novels. As long as he plays well according to the villain’s setting and completes the plot, he can get villain points, and he can return to earth if he saves enough 100,000.

Unexpectedly, Su Mingyuan, who had saved enough money, unfortunately, encountered a turbulent flow in time and space when he crossed back to Earth, and the time went back to his first day as a villain.

Everything has to start again.

“It’s merely a matter of starting over; the required villain value is less than half what it was the last time, and my acting abilities have improved significantly since the last time. I’m able to deliver stronger performances and am able to acquire a greater number of villain values more quickly…”

Su Mingyuan is optimistic and confident.

“Let see, I will do my best to taunt the male and female protagonists to hate me and then be punched in the face by them!”

“See if I don’t do my best to ridicule, make the male and female protagonists hate me, and then hit me crazily in the face and step on me.”

“When it comes to acting as a villain, I’m a professional!”

To begin, the first step is to attempt to harass the male protagonist’s sister, so that the two create an intense dislike for me.

Hey, what’s wrong with you heroine?

Not only do you not resist, why do you seem to… enjoy it?

Can you be serious!?

I’m a villain!

Wait… wait!

Why, apart from you, the way other female protagonists look at me seems to be wrong?

They came up one by one as if they were going to… eat me?

Amazing novel but MC is irritating amd frustating, girl scheme to came closer to him and he didn't even know and he is villain in first life what kind of scheme he has not seen but he behave like s*upid to schemes. From clues he should already understand that all girls memory are with them

The misunderstanding is good, and I like it because I am a misunderstanding enthusiast.

It's like a reversed 'The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me' plot. Instead of the main heroine trying to off the MC, they're all playing saviors, and the catch? The MC has no clue they've got memories from their past life. Oh, and he knows the truth because they stumbled upon his diary post-mortem. Misunderstandings are hitting the peak here – it's a masterpiece in the art of getting things wrong.

Now, picture this: a squad of... more>> eight fierce women, all head over heels for the MC. They're not just your average crush-havers; they're strong, loaded, and have connections for days. The kicker? They're all out to off the original protagonist. But, here's the twist – they're ready to go full-on battle royale against each other to win over Su Mingyuan's heart. Terrifying, right? Strong, wealthy, smart, and cunning as all heck. The fake protagonist's demise kicks off a full-blown war among these ladies, and Su Mingyuan? Clueless. He's got no idea what's going down, and the fact that all these heroines are time-travelers just adds more chaos to the mix. All because he got bored and annoyed at the world enough to spill his thoughts in a diary. Classic. <<less

So far (42 chapters in) I'd give this a 3.5/5.

The start idea was good in my opinion, isekai-ed guy fulfill his objective as a villain and is ready to go back to his original world but something goes wrong and he has to redo it all over again. But this time things will be a lot more different than he expects.

Spoiler

In this second try the heroines also have their memories back ! The problem for me is that they are all way too obsessed with the MC (yes this is satistying I admit) and it feels so unnatural in my opinion.

Yes they the know the MC was forced to be a villain, and yes he saved them on some occasions during the first try. But they never knew the "real" him so why are they already that much in love with him ? Should you not try to learn more about him on the second try and maybe start liking him from there ? It went way too fast, the first girl is already willing to kiss him on their first meeting (lol).

And wasn't the previous owner of the body a piece of sh*t anyway ? He was known for "sexually harassing" his secretaries for example. So the sister and the fiancee who knew the previous owner should honestly not be acting like they are...

The diary stuff felt way too convenient for me. MC supposedly wrote everything he experienced in there and also what he was thinking and it is found after he dies and every girl has read it before the second try. And of course they believe everything that is written in there.... like really ? ("Hey girls, there is an overlord that control the world and he is forcing MC to be a villain!", "Ehhh but why is he forcing the MC to be a villain ? What !? We are characters inside a novel ?" <- These were not written by the Author but I just wonder why they would believe the diary...)

181 chapters out so far and 42 chapters were translated so I will give this a try until chapter 100 before deciding to drop it or not. And if this gets better I'll update my review. <<less

So I'm current with translation at the time of writing this. While I think this book is closer to 4 stars I'm giving it 5 because its the first good villain protagonist novel i've seen. Every single [Villain system] for some reason makes the MC steal the heroines or f*ck over the protagonist while living in luxury for it, this novel finally has a system where the villain is actually trying to be a villain, they are actually acting out their role in the story. The author executes this really... more>> well with how there are other plot devices f*cking him up but the fact that there is a villain system in these books that actually make the MC a villain and not just a bastard is what makes me give this story a 5 star rating. <<less

As you have noticed I have read this novel far long. This is R18 novel alright. The arcs are good and the romance is even better. You will definitely not be disappointed as the author will leave you guessing how things will go.
Best Part ? Maybe spoiler
Spoiler

Later on chp50+ for the heroines The MC goes around being super hero in a caped white metal armor. Yes you will def like this part trust me. The MTL says MC uses a White Knight armor so I am guessing it is literally armor.

I wont say much it has ups and down

The amount of time given to heroines is unfair but anyway not all heroines can be treated equally on attention

They all have different definition of being best. Like one wants to be being the one MC has physical relationship most with

Or being girl who MC really gives his mind to and so this girl wants MC to give his heart, words of love

As above one just wants action and the other wants words. Thats when you think the one that wants action is at finishline feeling shes too far in race but nope others go ahead of her too so dont worry. Author is kind of fair.
The author has predetermined the heroine roles but its not that bad

So the underground queen the most unfortunate of them all appears spodrically of many chapters despite being only one that just wants to spend time with MC. But unlike others heroines MC goes out of his way to meet her while he meets others due to storyline dont worry.

Its not a masterpiece but its not bad.

Rather interesting premise... Though I hope that the series wouldn't turn itself into a cliche.

Edit: 3 stars. For a novel playing off ridiculing the average CN harem-cultivation novel, it shares too many development and payoff to sell. There should have been more diary entries - to flesh out MC as a character, or at least further the misunderstanding all the female leads have. Instead, typical fillers.

Not to mention how fast and loose the author handles the MC's character. Early paid-off is one of the symptoms: you risk fragmenting the MC's... more>> image and the audience's reason to support him when he was rewarded disproportionately for his efforts and sacrifice.

It might be enjoyable 100 or 200 chapters in, but I'm clocking out. <<less

It's good. Really good. It takes a bit for the plot to fully get fleshed out, but that is most Chinese novels in general. By the time you finish chapter 12 or 13, you are pretty much done with the prologue. It is a great comedy and a great harem romance. They give the MC a genuine reason for why he is going to be dense to the heroines' affections which makes all the difference. The heroines also come out the gate not being okay with a harem (for now),... more>> so you have real funny moments of these girls collaborating together to kill someone while they also plot against each other for the MC's affections. It makes the girls genuinely interesting and builds great comedic moments. The MC is also a major optimist, so it is really hard to tell how he really feels. He celebrates when something bad happens and spins it to be a good thing, so it is hard to tell if he really wants to return to his homeworld or if he just wants to stop playing a villain. There is an undercurrent of tragedy there, and it is impossible to tell if they are going to play it seriously or leave it as a comedic tool. All in all, loving it. <<less

it’s a little bit early for me to tell, however I’ve read the mtl and in my opinion it’s good.

the first five chapters are very typical, standard prologue and the first scene, etc etc.

however after that they pull you in on a plot twist, and I did not expect the plot twist.

the one bad thing I have to say are

Spoiler

In the mtl, the girls just kinda like him for ‘oh he was forced to be a villain : (‘

however take this with a grain of salt, these are mtl we’re talking about. Barely edited and barely make sense.

This one is a very fun and enjoyable read, I really dislike the sentient system though. Systems in general is an overdone trope, they're almost always abused as a plot device, and them having sentience just makes it even more s*upid and silly. The characters in this one kind of lack depth, but for a CN webnovel they're kind of relatively fleshed out. It's funny reading about how the MC is trying to make sure the plot gets fixed, with the heroines messing things up due to misunderstanding his circumstances.

The beginning of this was really interesting. As each character was introduced I had a lot of interest in how each individual would move to achieve their goals and how that would conflict with everyone else's and what the end result would be from the chaos that would ensue. Was going pretty well until the protagonist started going on dates and the focus completely became on how to cop a feel and mol*st each other. Mol*st is the right word because the protagonist thinks that the heroine is only allowing... more>> it because of exterior pressure which may be upsetting for some.

If you want to read a story with actual plot progression occurring every 6 chapters and the other 5 being "forced" physical intimacy with mention to the plot that you already know, more power to you. It was a disappointment for me.

3 because I stopped reading it so maybe it got better. <<less

Honestly it is way too early to write a review for this but I have hopes and want to get in early with my review.

This story so far is worth a read but the start is definitely slow. I will need to come back later. If you like the summary and are interested in stories like "My Wife is a Beautiful CEO", give this a shot. This is a pretty good example of a story where the MC is a villain trying to thwart people who would be the MC... more>> of other stories. In this case, his starting antagonist is a skilled assassin returning from overseas, which has been used as the template for MCs in stories like "My Wife is a Beautiful CEO". He honestly wants his antagonist to succeed and tries to be a complete douche but because the love interests love him instead, things fail with amusing results. The tone of the story is comedic without being silly, so even thought the love interests are head-over-heels for him you don't have to worry about them acting like airheads and immediately joining his harem. They clearly intend to form a harem, but due to the circumstances things aren't immediately jumping into Japanese LN harem territory.

I am giving this a 4 because while the MC has some rather broken abilities, the story so far is focused entirely on personal interactions, so there isn't any ridiculous super-powered nonsense and I don't expect any in the near future. The story so far is interesting and hasn't strayed into ridiculousness yet. <<less

The story is good.

In terms of this genre, this has the best comedy. The "action" scenes are also good enough.

The MC is very funny but so are the FLs. Different scenarios that the MC acts in and fails is very hilarious to watch.

... more>> There are downsides as well. In my opinion, the too many smut scenes have made this novel just meh for me. It is okay if they show it once or twice but showing it again and again just makes it boring.

The story is also slow paced, the chapters are small....

Most importantly, this has only 180ish chapters and is on hiatus. <<less

God, I love this so much. MC is a bit bland and misguided, but he is slowly getting better. Girls are great, they are vicious, ruthless and scheming. They conspire against OG MC, against our MC and against each other. Shuraba pretty much never ends. Also has very solid NTR undertones.

It has a pretty good premise and it doesnt start out that bad tbh, but it just becomes worse and worse as it develops. Usual stuff in this type of novels, dialogue being as stiff as a wooden plank, women being collectables for the MC and predictable outcomes for whatever thing comes up. Overall just a bad novel, give this one a pass
