I have an eerie feeling of knowing the story as I read this and it turned out I had read the manhwa version a long time ago, and knowing I will dropped it later so I also stop reading from now on.

seriously 2000 + chapters? Korean story? no way. I'll not believe that.

in the meanwhile the chapters seem well written. The MC is OP. kid you not. So avoid reading if you hate OP type characters. Well he's more like Captain America level of skills and abilities up to chapter 87. NOT yet heading into the Superman / Saitama levels yet.

I pressed 5 stars out of habit. My real rating is 3/5.

Reason being, it was really great at the start but the pacing, development, and characterization all went downhill after the military arc. There were plenty of times after that the story felt like it was going nowhere. Everyone who started as competent ended up acting incompetent. There are so many plot and character holes. I think that the author didn't plan this out well, if there was a plan at all.

Honestly, I'm pretty conflicted because this was one of my favorite of the newer novels early on but the current arc is so boring I'm struggling to push through it. The series started strong but after a certain point I feel like the pace slowed down massively and the previously competent MC became a mess that suddenly didn't understand anything. I'll probably come back to it at some point but for now I can only give it 4 stars.
