Pros: the story does not shy away from the dark and unpleasant. The people do horrible things because they have the power to. The MC's revenge is swift, brutal, clever, and fitting. You will cheer when the garbage fiance is beaten or the pe*ophile gets castrated, and they don't make you wait forever for it. The MC gets her hands right in the muck.

Cons: the main character is a PSYCHOTICALLY catty b*tch, and can go to truly disgusting lengths. The slightest annoyance or passive insult and she will destroy you.... more>> A girl she finds braggy and annoyingly boring? MC destroys her chances of fulfilling her dreams of joining some royal guard group and blocks her ability to compete for a position as heir. A girl she thinks is s*upid and overly gullible? Seek to destroy her trust in others, tries to make her nasty like herself, and MC targets the girl's fiance for seduction. A dowdy and poor office worker type snaps at MC because she's annoyed at the interruption to the work environment? MC spends over half a million and goes out of her way to target and wreck the woman's husband's business. As brilliant as she is and how fun it is to watch her take out the baddies, it is very hard to like her when she turns that brutality on everyone else for the smallest infraction. You just feel icky when she touches the especially innocent and upright characters with her filthy, nasty hands.

She is not a good person by any measure, and you wind up hoping she achieves her greatest revenge... and then gets taken out by one of the many people she destroyed on a whim. <<less
