This novel is an AU extra of Lowly Creature. You have to read Lowly Creature before you read this. The main story is very beautiful, it's about an artificial intelligence who falls in love with a human.

While the main story (Lowly Creature) has a happy ending, the AU extra (Depth Charge) has a bittersweet ending. The author really wants us to suffer instead of fed us with extra sugar 😂 /j

Quite nice for a oneshot. I honestly had some confusion at the end, since it did imply some stuff that my s*upid brain doesn't have the ability to comprehend, but besides that it's quite nice.

Angsty... don't forget the tragedy tag!

Better than Lowly Creatures - tight, simple plot and story structure. It seems to be an alternative universe and not exactly a prequel to Lowly Creatures, since the romance between the CP is a bit different (and in my view more impactful) than in the main story. I honestly liked it more and wish the author had gone in this direction with the main story, which had a somewhat messy plot. It's sad though, but the ending really works.

It was neither bad or great. It's something great to read when you have nothing else to read or do.

I can't really feel their love, cause honestly that guy can easily move on and focus on his rl.

Short but good. I think this one-shot is well written. My english is lacking so I just borrow omgquiznak's comment... because it's how I felt as well, totally agreed. I don't fully understand the end but I've never been good understanding sci-fi anyway 🤔😋
