Just by reading the a few chapters, the ML honestly seems like an a**hole. And this is coming from a person that likes those dominant ceos in c-novels.

The translation is really great, but the ML just gave me a really bad impression and it was the first chapter. I think I might come back and change my review if the ML hopefully changes for the better, bc this story could've been great novel. <<less

Toxic. Each and every toxicity that you can think of. That's the ML and this story.

Actually, I should have already figured this out when I saw "Amnesia" tag but I still went ahead cuz I had high expections from Faery Translations as they always seem to pick a good series. I was sorely disappointed, however.

The "Adopted to Manhua" tag was a GLARING red flag too that I pretended not to see, sigh.... Chinese companies seem to be addicted to only adopt series that are toxic to it's utmost into Manhuas.... more>> This is one of those now-old fashioned CEO novels so the toxicity can be imagined.

Grooming, r*pe, Imprisonment, Playboy, Violence, Amnesia and many more... I got so pissed reading just the first 20 chapters but the silver lining was that ML's love history has never been mentioned yet so I kept it as a trace of hope but bruh....

This review too is just a way for me to let out my frustration and anger in my chest cuz I wish I could rewind time and forget I ever came across this and NOT read it. I wouldn't have read it if this had a proper review at least, the previous review did help me prepare a bit but it was only limited to the first few chapters. So this review is more like a WARNING sign for the future readers. Do NOT read it if you're uncomfortable with the tags mentioned, as a matter of fact, I myself find myself s*upid for not stopping when I saw the tags mentioned, SMH.

To the Faery Translations: Your Translations team deserves a better series than this. As a Proofreader/Editor, I sometimes don't like some series but I still have go through the pain. Please treasure your ccolleagues and protect their mental wellbeing 😭😂 <<less
