There he meets a child with a disabled leg and they begin to travel together, but there’s no way that others will leave a “demon lord” with such overwhelming strength alone.

While being targeted by countries and saints that are trying to subdue the demon lord, they cause turmoil wherever they go.

Demon lord on the outside, normal person on the inside, a misunderstanding type fantasy!

If you are not a fan of Isekai or OP Main characters, then you are likely to hate this. Fan of Isekai genre, but am surprised I enjoyed a lot. Might be because novel dosn’t seem to take it self too seriously and makes for a relaxing read. Lots of things could have been better, but this hits my guilty pleasure read type of book.

Main character is the Demon Lord who the the person from the “real world.” Nothing new here besides him being the developer of the game. Novel... more>> hints at eventually explaining the “why” he was summoned, but dosn't feel like they are going to do that any time soon. Suffers from plot convince. Kind of like Ainz from overlord, MC lucks into fortunate situations and people around seem to overly like him by misunderstandings. I don’t mind too much that he lucks into a lot of situations, but would definitely be better if there were an explanation for it. One of the characters we run into even has a “Luck” skill that negates any bad stuff from happening to them, which makes the MC’s luck seem even more unnatural.

OP strenght of MC makes it difficult for any real suspense to occur. He does have a weakness, but everyone else is too weak to really take advantage of it. Imagine end game boss being set early in game. So while there is action, if MC is present, it will be resolved too quickly, making the alt perspectives of characters more enjoyable. Main goal seems to build up a location to stay at. And through misunderstandings, making it more of a kingdom building sort of story. He seems to be going more through the political route in building his location. So he gets the trust of important people and wealth early on and continues build on that. So while he is not expanding particularly quick, his influence in the world definitely is. But this too suffers from him lucking into meeting the correct people.

There are many interesting characters in the book, but LN goes through too many characters to properly develop many of them. Author knows how to make a good foundation for great characters, but dosn't know how to continue to flesh them out. During arcs where specific side characters are important, they are well writen. But once thier arc is done, they kind of just fade into the background, and another character takes the spotlight. When they show up again, it feels like they are there just because the plot needs them for a specific task before pushing them back out of existence. <<less
