Delicate Best Friend of the Female Lead

Description

Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.

As soon as she opened her eyes, the sickly An Xia found out that she had actually entered a dog-blood novel with wrong moral views! Reborn as the female lead’s best friend, the short-lived ex-wife of the overlord male lead, and the gold digger mother!

The attributes were really unlucky, short-lived, and cannon fodder! In the book, the original owner was forced to have a miscarriage and injured her body. In the end, she was pissed alive by the touching love between the heroine and her rebellious son.

An Xia lowered her head and looked at her pregnant lower abdomen…

Sickly An Xia cried bitterly!

Sickly An Xia: Oh! Finally, I have a healthy body! Heyaaa! \(^o^)/~ Eh, eh, eh? The transmigration also came with a golden finger to keep the body healthy?

Wait wait wait! Σ(⊙▽⊙”

It seems that something is not quite right with this golden finger! Why was there bruise on her skin just after blowing on it? Why was it so fragile! (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)゚

It was nice at the first few chapters but.. What in the world happen at around hundred plus, two hundred plus chapters??? There's a lot of plot holes and questions I needed answer but wasn't answered. And so many vague parts. Like there's parts that are good, like the flow and stuff. But, there's mostly chapters where the flow is jumping all over the place.

Spoiler

There's even that part where Mo Jiashu have a part where he seems to have thoughts of having An Xiaxia disappear like Jiang (?) Mini and have his mother come back. But the next chapter immediately jumps to another scenario.. The transition wasn't smooth at all. More like messy.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Another would be with He Feiyu. She seems that she would have been a good villainess all due to Cheng Yu but it was immediately resolve. In just a few sentences as well. Kinda lacking.

[collapse]

There's basically a lot of stuff in the story that honestly have potential but was way too vague or too confusing, messy in transition, etc.. Causing it to be.. Not that likable.

I was happy at first cause our MC, An Xiaxia seems all cute and all that nice stuff then.. Her personality just.. Changed? It was so confusing. And I am not satisfied with
Spoiler

how Mo Jiashu ended up. Like he wasn't even mentioned at An Xiaxia's wedding. Even though she's not his real mother, didn'the already accepted it? What the hell happened then? He basically became non-existent. The only nice part for the two is when An Xiaxia and Mo Jiashu went to that amus**ent park which had been cut short cause of the kidnapping scenario. Like, what?? It's so conflicting. It got so much potential but.. It became more of a disappointment instead.

[collapse]
Which is sad.

I do like this story, kudos to the author and the translator for this work. But.. Yeah. It got some potential and yet.. I just feel unsatisfied with how the story flow and everything. I read this in less than 12 hours, since it was just short. It'll be nice to have another story like this but more.. Good in the flow and transition.. Hopefully not as vague as this.

Huo Ci and An Xiaxia are nice characters, just need more consistency. Atleast in my opinion.

Spoiler

It's nice that Mo Yunsen got a 4th chance with his An Xiaxia but.. It just feels abusive for both of them at this point. And yet.. I do still want them to be together. Like.. Be able to freely love each other and be happy with their son, Mo Jiashu and their unborn daughter. Definitely a better life for Mo Jiashu.. He deserves it. He honestly needed a good ending and it's awful that he's barely even there at the end of the story. When he was obviously an important character. Hence the inconsistencies.

It's an okay read. There's fluff and there's some regret thrown in there. The rebirth of characters was given enough explanation. I don't see any major issues, the 3 stars is because it's unremarkable for me. However, it is good for casual reading. It took me 2 days to finish reading the story. The delicate part is so unnecessary though. The author decided to drop some sentences describing how she'd get bruises from walking along a crowded area, which does not affect anything in the plot. It's like there's a... more>> trivia there and ok? So what? What do I do with this information?

I think it's unfair to drop a low rating just because you're anti abortion. Abortion is a choice women go through in real life. I know that this is fictional, but it's kinda hypocritical to judge a character who has undergone abortion. She did that to save her life and that's okay. Women in real life can also face the same dilemma of choosing her life vs the life of the unborn child. No one has the right to judge her for having an abortion. We always applaud the people who save others' lives, it's only fair to treat this case similarly. It just so happened that the life she chose to save is her own life. <<less

4/5 Good read. Enjoyable. Slice of life story about a modern young woman returning to her family and finding direction after years of isolation and physcological abuse. Multiple renicarnators and transmigrators.
Drama level: Dogblood
Male Lead level: Gary-stu
The pace and translation are both on point, with enough events to keep you imersed to the end. Its a light and mostly optimistic read.

There are 2 contoversial topics that tend to bring the rating down (an abortion and a divorce) both of which are handled well, and are key points to the story:

Spoiler

1) The abortion is portrayed as a difficult choice, but medically nessisary. The child would not have come to term, and would have led to life threatening complications (infertility & slow death). This is the only portrayal I have ever seen in a webnovel where an abortion is not shown as evil or character breaking.
2) The ex-husband is often portrayed as a tragic man who was tricked, leading some readers to want him redeemed or to get back together with the MC. While he is not as overtly and actively a horrible person (like Sovieshu from Remarried Empress), he is clearly an ABUSER, gaslighter, narcissist, and is actively cheating on his wife. This man takes a perfectly normal young woman out of college, isolates her from her friends & family & society, seperates her from her 2yr old son so he can brainwash the child into hating her, never visits or speaks to her, and then blames her for her deteriorating mental state. At which point, he openly cheats on her, because she, a living himan being, was only ever a PLACEHOLDER for someone else. He treats her worse than an object. Hes tragic, not because he deserves redemption, but because his narsasistic delusion was shattered and he had to look at his own actions.

[collapse]

lets talk about the ending:
Spoiler

once they start describing the wedding, just skip to 126 (the extras), unless you like absurdly long descriptions of venue and dresses.
I like that the ex husband got an extra reincarnation (fourth times the charm).
The most tragic character of all is probably the son, who is 5-7years old at the time of these events and not at all responsible for the actions of adults. That his adult self had to be reincarnated into a childs body so he could save HIMSELF is so sad. I wish he had been able to remain a child and grow up normally with his mother and grandparents, and that the MC had found some way to get him out of that abusive house without the soul of an adult man taking over him. He just never really lives his life or comes to terms with all the messed up abuse of his childhood. I wanted a better ending for him.

The beginning was quiet interesting so I invested my time to read it (4hrs 🤯) but I was disappointed. My ship sinked halfway. And unnecessary scenarios keep popping up. It felt like I was reading a joke of a transmigrated s***** novel.

Spoiler

The MC is 18yrs old transmigrated into 26 yrs old cannon fodder woman. Remind you, this MC nonchalantly and happily aborted the child of the original owner in fear of dying and being implicated in the future though the child will die in the future. She doesn't feel sorry at all even when leaving the son because of her reason that she is not really the mother of the child. Like seriously?!! This is one of the shittiest transmigrated novel I've ever read

Dropped at 109.

The whole story is about how the FL is super pretty and this way she gains everything she wants. It's basically her OP cheat, the plot armor of the novel. If you start this novel prepare to read endless praises of the beauty of the FL... (I got tired of it after 109 chapter *sigh)

At the begining it's starts of her arriving into a stranger's body and her being pregnant. Y'all have to realize she aborted her child because she would have died again leaving an orphan... more>> behind since the husband was a scum and wouldn't care about the child anyway. So stop with the "Why didn't she keep the child" "She happily aborted the child" bs talk. She didn't "happily" abort her child, but tried to save her own life and she was mentally 18 years old, not adult yet. 18 is just a number and not adult! I'm sure she was still mentally teenager which shows during the novel!!!! She also transmigrated into someone else body so it's basically not her child too, she can't feel any maternal love this way and I'm sure most of us wouldn't feel too..

Anyway, the reason I dropped;

I started to get tired of reading how almost every chapter has the author praising her beauty to heavens. Okay we get it!!! She is prettier than a average person, chill with the nonstop praises. I'm 100% the author is writing her ideal life and that's why she gives the character OP skill which isn't even explained how does it works.. like, I have no idea how does it work after 109 chapters. We only know she can extract the good effects, vitamins etc from foods which makes her be healthy and pretty. She can regonize foods and materials this way, but doesn't give her cooking skill or anything. So I don't understand how her cooking is so good. Even with good materials your cooking can be just average...

She also didn't even get any revenge on the cheating couple. They didn't even appear after the first few chapters again. She easily forgiven the husband and didn't even do anything? Like. She complete forgot he exist. No faceslapping, nothing.. Really disappointing. What about the bad relatives? Nothing. She just ignores everything bad.

Spoiler

She also entered the entertainment industry even when she didn't want to. Her decision literally lasted like 1 chapter??? Then she decided she wants to gain experience (?). Also she is dumb af. I know she is 18, but she have basically no brain, only beauty plot armor. She had bad past with her husband, but she entered the industry, so it's just matter of time when the fans will find out and tarnish her reputation.. Then her leasure life will end.

Also one of the judges told her straight "Hey, your acting isn't good. You outshines the other actors in the video with your appearance, when you are just a second lead which isn't good. All you have going for you is your appearance." Then she started to have *teary eyes* and everyone was like "Omg, how dare you make a beauty cry?!". I was so dumbfounded. The only sane character who told the FL straight her acting skills are inferior got bashed. FL doesn't have any experience in acting, so it's pretty reasonable comment. Also she started to cry because of one NOT EVEN RUDE comment telling her she shouldn't rely only on her appearance and practice more???? I- I am just speechless.. *sigh

[collapse]

So in summary;

TL;DR:

The whole plot of the novel is about her beauty and its benefits. Her skill isn't properly explained, but we know it's makes her more beautiful. Author praises her beauty 24/7. Almost every chapter has either praises about it or showing the benefits of being pretty... She doesn't have any skills on her own, only her golden finger. Nor is she smart...

Future me if you find this novel, don't waste your time on it again. Not worth it even when you are bored. <<less

This novel is mostly about MC and her family. **

The story isn't that terrible that you would give it 1 star after it's 1st chapter. It's quite good story. I am still reading the story. So I can say that based on this early chapters I read it's not that much worse. Give it a try. Little spoiler.. for clearing the confusion.. The ML isn't the ex husband.. and the son is the reborn again in this life. It's cute. The MC and her family interaction and also the food... more>> lover ML... <<less

Firstly, this novel was written so vaguely, except for the drama suffered by the MC & her family, almost everything else was glossed over; at least there wasn't any satisfactory explanations.

For example, ... more>>
Spoiler

when the hero and heroine was dating back in school, apparently the protagonist tagged along on every date. It would have been ok the first few times but every single dates? Like seriously? You didn't even ask your date why she had brought along her BF along on every single dates? And if they were dating back in school but the heroine suddenly went and married someone else, didn't the hero have the slightest of doubt? I mean sure, her family's business was on the rocks and they wanted her to marry some rich dude. Now the hero are loaded to the point where the MC could spent millions buying designer items, but he couldn't help his gf? Didn't they communicated at all while dating??

Another thing, how did the original An Xia tricked the hero into having a child? None of these issues were explained at all in the novel!!

And, the MC was smart enough to have Huo Ci hid away when her uncle's family came over because she didn't trust her cousin An Ning because she knows her cousin can't be trusted. Then why the heck didn't the MC drove her cousin away after her uncle's family left? Instead she allowed her cousin to freely come and go into the farmhouse as she pleased! Hello? Huo Ci was still there and you just let your cousin to roam around freely? Not to mention this enabled your cousin to bother your paid guests!!!! I knew when the author left allowed the cousin free access to the farmhouse that she would have black materials against An Xia.

And, how the heck did Huo Ci took over the Cape family fortunes in just a few days? The cape family that was supposed to be concerned with blood purity were taken over so easily by a Chinese man? Now I am not saying a Chinese man isn't capable and I have nothing against Chinese. I just wish the author had given more details instead of just glossing over and summarising everything!!

All the problems MC faced were solved too easily, she relied on those around her. None of them surprised me at all. I actually felt bored while reading as the plots points were so flimsy and there were too many discrepancies and no explanations or clarifications given.

Some of the novels written by kids on Wattpad are better than this novel.

This... really is a dog blood drama. I wanted to slap everyone really hard. I wanted to drop it so much. I can say I wasted my time on this one. For me, the remorseful ML and the original soul of the body would have been a better plot. That would have been more interesting than this one. This was full of BS. It looks like it was made by a highschool student who wanted to live lavishly and take it easy on life.

I do not recommend.

I personally don't care that she had an abortion, I understand why she did it, first of all one's health comes first. But what I do not accept is the lack of empathy that she has to abandon her first child, I understand that she does not see him as her son, but... thanks to the original host it is that she gains a healthy body and what she does, she abandons to the first child, with that the female protagonist totally bleached me. I have read other novels where... more>> the FL that transmigrates has children and takes the responsibility of caring for them, not out of "maternal love" but out of empathy, in short, what is the fault of the child for the decisions of adults, and the FL who is a narcissistic character, I better not say anything anymore, the group that translates this really does a great job, but having better Chinese novels to translate they choose one with the worst FL that I have read <<less

I've never done a review before but I couldn't stop myself writing one with such a book that is totally my cup of tea.

I got so interested with this that I just went and read MTL (It was understandable) and it was a good read and I'm happy with the ending.

I also just realized that the author of this book is also the one who wrote two more books that I really like. Especially the book 'Delicate Mother of the Villain', it was really a very nice read (I also... more>> MTLed this one).

Spoiler

The wedding of the ML and FL really reminded me of the wedding scene in Crazy Rich Asians with the water and the flowers glowing like fireflies.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Also the FL isn't the only one who knows the plot, the son after a few chapters will be taken over by the son from the future, the scum ex-husband will dream about the future and feel guilty, the ex-heroine is also someone who came from the future and then lastly, there is also another girl like FL except she read a different story that was all about ML. The ending was also nice when the ex-husband got a chance to be in another life with his OriWife who is also given another chance like him.

All in all, this book is really a good read if you really have nothing to do 'cause you're bored or something and if it's really your cup of tea then this is a lovely book. <<less

I am just giving my honest opinion on the fact that the MC doesn't owe anything to the previous owner, however she still promises to treat her parents well and offer help to her son if he asks for it.

So what, if the first thing she does is divorce the husband that sees her a gold digger (since he refused to ever think she married him for more than just his money (low self-esteem much)) and abort the child that will most likely kill her? Is it not her choice?... more>> Why do people always expect a woman to bear a child that will not be loved, and will probably be born sick or die with her along with it?

I just wanted to rant that since she is in a new place and body it's essentially hers to do with, what she wishes.

For those who hate the MC for making a choice with her body that every woman has a right to make, please keep reading in order to know what made her reach the decision she made.

I really like this story, and almost passed it over due to negative reviews which I'm guessing are "pro-life" people "sigh". Piece of advice give the novel a chance and make your own opinions about it, as for me I'll keep on reading! ☮️

Edited...

A year later and I have re-read this novel, and all I can say, is that I have been very biased towards ML's rebirth stories (albeit just a chapter worth). My original thought was that the OGML did not deserve a second chance in the extra chapter that we got.

However, after diving into countless FL stories about rebirth, I have noticed a pattern (not only in myself, but in others) that even though they (FL) made mistakes such as: cheating, lying, stealing, abortion, eloping, and lastly even killing (directly or indirectly) their ML of the novel!

People like me and others still root for them! While we disparage ML's when the roles are reversed.

So after thinking on it, and analyzing my inherent biases; I have adjusted my thinking process (people do continue to grow) and will say that the ML (at least) of this novel deserved his second chance in the extra.

If this comment offends anyone...
Well sue me. <<less

didn't expect to love this novel so much. Im not too fond of op MCs in novels where everything goes smoothly for them but I went in prepared and didn't feel like rolling my eyes too often.

what I wasn't prepared for was the absolute seriousness the author treated the original body's life and the people around her.

usually in these kinds of novels, the transmigrated MCs will only struggle for a few chapters (or maybe even just a paragraph) with the fact that they took over a person's life. But even... more>> until the end, our MC still treats the original body seriously, believing that there's a possibility she might come back.

this novel is so interesting bc of the way it fuses the isekai trope with the rebirth trope.

on one hand, you get your typical Mary-sue novel where the transmigrator wins at life. But on the other half, with regards to the original body, you get an emotional family drama about where some things could be changed for the better but some things are simply too late. Heck, not just 'too late' but also 'even in the previous life you made the exact same mistake'.

I wish I had better words to illustrate just how much this novel ticks so many of my boxes but I stayed up all night to read this and my brain is like paste now hahahah <<less

Lots of people are upset about the abortion but I think there's nothing wrong with it. The fetus will literally ruin her health with her already weak body. I also think the MC does not owe anyone anything, she didn't choose to be inside this novel. But the fact that she respected the orignial owner's wishes (which she didn't even have to) is already more than enough. She has already done that much, she doesn't owe any feelings to the original owner's first kid. She has no attachment whatsoever with... more>> him, it's normal. The kid literally hated her at first plus it's not even her kid. You can't just expect everyone to suddenly like a random kid.

But this story got boring after a while, it's just the MC being super OP all the time. The plot gets lost and it got boring and I left off at chapter 154. It was interesting at first but I lost interest fast. <<less

I really feel complicated about this story. First, I know that some aspects in this story, although a bit uncomfortable to read, were quite realistic. For example: MC's decision to abort her child. From a logical perspective, it's actually a wise decision because in her past life, she's just an 18 yo girl who never see the world and also, she just transmigrated and still couldn't adapt to her new world. If she kept the baby, it would be hard for her and also, she would be entangled with Mo... more>> Yusen further. However, although my logic told so, I still feel quite sad for the unborn baby because she could survive but in the end, she didn't have a chance to see the world. Second, MC's childish behavior. I know that her behavior was actually in line with a characteristic of a timid sickly girl who never see the world but still, it's a bit unbearable to read for me, maybe because MC like her wasn't my cup of tea.

I also feel quite sad for the org An Xia, Mo Yusen, and Mo Jiashu. They're all actually victims of Tao Zixin. Mo Yusen was arguably a sc*m because he was so biased and never try to find the truth before judging An Xia as a scheming woman but I also think that An Xia wasn't without fault too. Why she never mention about the letters during her marriage with Mo Yusen? If she ever mentioned it, Mo Yusen would find that something was wrong. My heart was also ache for Mo Jiashu. He was the biggest victim of this whole fiasco. He never fully get his parent's love even in his second life.

Spoiler

In his past life, Mo Yusen separated him from An Xia and brainwashed him to hate her and because of that, Jiashu always thought that his mother didn't want him. Mo Yusen also didn't fond of him much because he was An Xia's son. He loved Tao Zixin's children more even though they're not his own children. Meanwhile, Tao Zixin acted like she cared about Jiashu but she secretly wanted to snatch Mo Yusen's inheritance for her own children. Fortunately, she didn't make it because the adult Jiashu finally saw through her but at that time, he already lost his mother.

In his second life, the reborn Jiashu already lost his mother before he could do anything because An Xia's body was occupied by the transmigrator An Xia. Although he finally got a lot of love from the current An Xia and his grandparent, she wasn't his actual mother after all and the transmigrator An Xia also couldn't really treat Jiashu as her own son. He also hated Mo Yusen because of what he did in their past life so he was estranged from his father until the latter's death.

[collapse]

And his ending in his second life was quite sad.

Spoiler

He never get married all his life and he's still in denial even though he already knew that the current An Xia wasn't her mother.

[collapse]

I really hope that Jiashu could get another chance of life again since:

Spoiler

Mo Yusen could meet the org An Xia again in his next life. I know that many thought that he didn't deserve it but I don't want to be too harsh to him since he already repented all his life by doing a good deeds. Also, with him and An Xia together, Mo Jiashu would also be happy because he finally could get his parent's love.

[collapse]

and I hope in his new life, he would forget everything and purely became a child who was loved by his parent. <<less

I like it. I mtled the whole story. Its ok. Some people doesn't like how she decisively aborted the child and left her son behind. But I think it was the right choice. The mc's husband hates her and tries to find fault with everything she does, if she had been stubborn about not aborting the child- he would have thought she wants to extract more money from him using the the child as the reason. And if she had stayed for her son, another melodrama with unnecessary anguish would... more>> have started, her opponent is an expert green-tea bit*h who made both the husband and son hate her. The novel was OK tbh. There was nothing really special and plot is really common with other transmigrating novels.

FL has her heroine halo so every problem is very easily solved and anything she does just helps her make money or be famous. ML is cool and common with other CNs MLs so nothing new with that. The ori FL and ML of the novel are kind of scummy. Original An Xia was really pitiful though, reading about her past made me cry.

Some things that irked me in the novel are-

1. Lots of broken relationships and we never got to know whether FL's brother and sister found their happiness or not.

2. There was quite of flaunting of wealth by both ML and FL which gets boring to read.

3. FL's golden finger was just mentioned in the beginning and only showed up when it is needed in the plot.

4. The ending was quite abrupt, like the author was in the rush of finishing it. Would have liked a better ending for Mo Yusen, like I really hoped he should have got rebirth during the time when they were in college and Ori An Xia really gets the happiness she deserved.

There are a lot of character who crossed travel and reborn together. I also love how the author always talk about woman empowerment in her novel such as woman can live happy and fulfilled without marriage in Delicate Mother of Villain. And in this novel, woman don't need to feel obligated to have a baby for husband and her in-law especially if proven to be medically incapable. Woman don't owe anything.

And moral lesson from this novel is there is no good ending for people with greeds. Every each greedy people... more>> ended up bad in their second life. And every good hearted people all got their happy ending. Although sometimes reality sucks, but we still need this moral compass to always being kind to other people.

Honestly I love Xia An's character (DMV) more than An Xia (DBFFL). But this story has a lot moral value so I add 1 more star. <<less

I admit I'm guilty of judging the novel soon. However it isn't entirely my fault that the author had a stardard start of a dog-blood scum forgiving novel.... more>>

I had thought that a lot of characters were very 2-D, but that really wasn't the case. During the divorce when the ML gave the huge alimony to the FL, It had flashed my mind that this will be used as a bargain for their reconciliation, but thankfully it wasn't so. Just a heads up, there were multiple reincarnated individuals here (3 reincarnations and 2 transmigrations).

  • There was always a reason behind the character's actions. The oriMC had pursued oriML because she was tricked into thinking they had something going on. The oriML hated the oriMC and loved the oriFL because he thought he was schemed by her for his money. The oriFL had reincarnated and didn't want to struggle for money and hence resolutely divorced her ex-husband and took her kids with her (atleast she took the twins with her, or I would've been more disgusted by her). The MC decided to abort her baby and divorce because she knew if she didn't then the thing she valued the most i.e her health will be in danger. (For those who think that's heartless, remind you that it's not her responsibility or duty to look after him/her especially when he is not developed in her womb, and she has every right to abort a pregnancy since both she and her spouse agree. I think she wouldn't abort it after it was formed because that could affect her health adversely). Her son hated her because he thought she was a spendthrift and was misled and brainwashed by the oriML and oriFL. Remarkably the only character which lacked depth was the new ML, but that just might be because he wasn't a reincarnator/transmigrator (or the best friend Qiao just might have overshadowed him a bit).
  • Even after transmigrating, the FL truly portrayed the mind of a naive 18 year old trapped in a 26 year old body, still craving for insignificant things like making friends and curious about school, having zest to learn new things and having an optimistic view of life. She was a ray of sunshine in the life of her son, who was reborn and atoning for his crime, but still unfortunately couldn't get him out of his guilt for her mother, since he remained unmarried until his 50s-60s. We did have an alternate end for oriMC and oriML, and hopefully they will be able to provide a better environment for their son in that life. (It can be said as a happy ending for everyone except the deranged oriFL)

P.S. The description wasn't a big part of the novel (I had thought that her skin will be become truly fragile i.e. Delicate) but it was only mentioned once off handedly. <<less

The novel is full or reborn and transmigrator. I cried and laugh because of this novel.

What I like about this novel is that the MC didn't fell in love with the original scumbag/blind ML. I like how she found her true love. And she is true to herself from start to end.

I don't have anything that I don't like as far as I remember the novel. What they said about abortion in the reviews is something I don't have the right to comment about because even in real life, this... more>> decision is the right of the mothers to decide not the us, passerby.

What I mind was the golden finger. Only in particular event it was mention. Even her ability to cook, I forgot that it was the help of her golden finger.

Anyway, this novel is not fluffy but the romance between MC and ML is sweet and quite romantic.

Highly recommended for me! <<less

The first 20 chapters were good, but it kinda went downhill from there until around chapter 75. After that, it gets slightly better. The FL is somewhat a happy-go-lucky airhead that acts like a child instead of the body's actual age--26. I understand that the person who transmigrated in the body was an 18 year old who was sickly in her past life and was prevented from doing many things. The author tries to give that background to explain why the FL seems to act naive. There's nothing wrong with... more>> that, but her insistence and ignorance on some things makes her look s*upid. MC is basically a s*upid white lotus. It really doesn't match, because the character she transmigrated into is a 26 year old woman who has a child.

There are also some very questionable logic in the story that makes you raise an eyebrow. For example, MC regarded the ML as her first friend even though there's Qian Xuemin who supported her from the start. Bruh. Anyway, there are multiple reincarnators and transmigrators in the story.

I will give the author props for having some very emotional scenes that was expressed well. There were some highlights in the novel, but honestly chapter 25-70 should be purged. It was written badly... Thankfully the author gave a very decent ending. However, it was overly done and became dragging.

Overall, it's a meh kind of story. I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't stop you from reading it. It's just too dragging and over the top on some points.

Spoiler

If the son of the original owner of the body was not reborn, FL would have honestly just been a useless transmigrator. A very useless white lotus. Her son did most of the work lol

Also, they never answered how the FL got herself pregnant with her ex-husband's child. He never liked her so how did they even sleep together?
