Before I say anything else: This has a Happy Ending.

I can't say too much about this story since I actually skipped a lot of it. I originally thought it would be more interesting but I honestly didn't really understand what was going on. So I skipped to the end and at least it was a happy ending. I feel like a lot of the characters are just... Very pitiful?

Anyways, this story isn't bad, I just can't like it. Personal preference. It's completely different from my expectations. That's why I don't... more>> like it that much at the moment. I had my biases.

Writing is alright. The story is a little boring for me. The characters are kind of flat, but I might be wrong since I skipped a lot. I basically only read the first 15 chapters then skipped right to the end. It just gave off the feeling that everyone other than MC (and ML when he's with MC) are being controlled and everything they think and do is according to a script. Which makes it so frustrating to read I skipped it.

It is a somewhat short story though so I think it's alright as something to read on the side. Lets you see a different side of the "The Investiture of the Gods" story which this is a spinoff of. <<less
