1: Hmm, there is no internet, all of the species are not in my light brain's database, there is not a single light visible at night... welp, let's follow this river until I find a city, so I can get on a spaceship and go home.

2: Hmm, there is a creature in my dreams that looks kind of like my dragon, sounds exactly like my dragon and acts 100% like my dragon... I wonder who that creature is?

it starts off with hun getting stranded on unknown planet and picked up by the dragon the ml. There’s some misunderstanding because of communication barriers with him thinking that the species that wants to mate with him and the dragon are two different ppl. With him thinking that the dragon sees him as a child to raise because he brings him food.

what I liked about this novel was that the novel had a time where the MC struggles to accept that he has fallen for a different species. I appreciated that they touched on it because some novels would have just had him accept it immediately. This is also the reason why I was kinda disappointed when he immediately accepted he had changed into a creature with a tail and wings. Based on his thoughts up to that point it would match his personality for him to have gotten upset with the dragon for changing him without his consent and being forced to leave his humanity. He literally accepted it after a night with the excuse that he likes the dragon which I thought was too quick especially since he wasn’t fully accepting his feelings.

The MC struggles in sleeping with the ML because he wants to make sure he understands what it means to mate with him since he thinks he has a child’s innocence and would be taking advantage of him. I liked that the book acknowledge making sure the ML understood what it would mean to have s*x with him and seeing if he was old enough to consent. I really enjoyed seeing their nightly dream and seeing how the realtionship developed.

The ML is obsessed with having his children with made me uncomfortable but from a species perspective he probably thought it was a great show of their relationship. The ML gets pregnant with like 20 eggs after the MC sleeps with him thinking he’s still in a dream. The MC really doesn’t want kids and tries to wash away his sperm each time after having s*x. Like oof totally understandable when the ML can save his billion of sperm and choose to have eggs at any time in groups of 20. This upsets the ML every time and the first time he laid eggs he did it behind the MC back knowing he didn’t want kids. That rubbed me the wrong way and the MC told him not to do that anymore.

I will acknowledge that the dragon was pretty sweet being affectionate and taking care of protection the MC until he changed which I thought was sweet.

I didn’t check the tags and missed that this was a child raising child bearing novel and it’s not my cup of tea so I dropped it at ch50. If you like my above points youll probably like the story.

A lot of things werent explained and they named us new characters but then nothing else. So this make me think that maybe the autor just doesnt feel it anymore. Anyways, I would kill for read more about the children and the past of the MC. #Sigh
