It's a great story, very well paced and wonderfully put. Each of the characters draws you in and you feel a bit of their trauma. Normally I stay away from tragedy tags, but this one was worth it. Note, don't bother reading if you don't want to feel something. The biggest drawback of the story is that it is so direct, there are plenty of loose ends or paths that could have been explored that weren't, but that wasn't enough for me to dock a star.

The author has meticulously crafted the inner worlds of both the protagonist and the antagonist, making it easy for readers to empathize with and understand their motivations. I cried so hard while reading this novel. The author’s ability to convey such profound emotions makes the story unforgettable.

If you enjoy stories that delve deeply into character psychology and offer a well-rounded, meaningful ending, this is a work you shouldn’t miss.

I won't spoil because this work is so PEAK!!!

I gotta say, this novel has one of the most realistic and satisfying endings for a tragedy I've ever read. It's different from your usual reincarnation story. Most of the time, these types of stories take place a few years before the "main story" of the world they're in, but here, even though the FL knows the future, it doesn't really help her much. The story mainly takes place before anything major happens, and that's what makes it so intriguing. The author creates this butterfly effect where just knowing the... more>> future completely alters the "main story." The future FL has seen will change, and she can't use her knowledge much at all. With her circumstances, she can't do much either, so she makes the toughest decision: to recreate the "Original Protagonist's" backstory, but with a few differences.

What I really love about this story is how the author portrays each character's mental state and psychology. The story could've been expanded more, but the author focuses on the FL's perspective, and honestly, I don't feel like that was wasted potential. If the "Original Protagonist" were the main character, this could've easily turned into another typical shonen series. That's why I really appreciate how the author ended the story despite all its potential for more. There aren't a lot of action scenes, but the character interactions are so well written. The suffering, especially the FL's, is described so vividly that I really felt it as I read.

As Thanos said, "The hardest choices require the strongest wills, " and that perfectly captures the FL's resolve for the greater good. It was amazing—no unnecessary drama, no plot armor, no dumb happy ending. Just a perfect conclusion.

PS. I was coping really hard after reading the ending and special chapter. Thank goodness the author created a "what if" (or rather, an alternate ending) story. It was very satisfying, even though it's not part of the main story. Knowing what would've happened if "blank" had hesitated gave me the closure I needed for a very satisfying ending.

If you're wondering if it has a sad ending or a happy ending, just see it for yourself, reading it without any spoilers is the most ideal. Also, don't forget to read the special chapter and the side-stories.

I also recommend reading To be a Childhood Sweetheart that You will Regret for Life if you enjoy these types of stories. <<less

Each chapter is quite long compared to a normal chapter but there's only 13 chapters, so the length is not too short or too long.

Honestly I dont know how to review this novel, just read the prologue and see if its your cup of tea. If I am going to say anything about the novel, its going to be a spoiler because the plot stays consistent throughout the story, its how they portray the characters and the relationship that drives the emotion.

I can highly recommend to read this though.

This is an emotion-centric piece.

The emotions and imagery to convey such feelings are the best in my opinion, being able to feel the thoughts of our characters for the most part. This is one of my very limited reads regarding heavy emotion, but without elaborating further, if you’re into stories that are compelling and often will have you touched (nearly crying) by the end, you’ll probably like this. In addition, the story is well maintained throughout all of the chapters, thus you won’t be quick to lose interest.

To top it... more>> all off, the ending (might just be me) gives off a feeling of fulfillment. I’m not an avid reviewer, but if there’s one takeaway, it’s that I wholeheartedly recommend it. <<less

The Story is good, and it became really amazing when nearing the ending

It dive deep into character psychology, which Is a plus

But, I have 1 problem

... more>> The story highlight the important naratives, but also really disregard the rest, the unrelevant things, this make it lacks details when it's not included in the highlight, usually the environment outside our MC, other relationship with MC, and other characters. But thats fine good even, it's nice not to waste time on something unimportant after all.

My problem is... there Is 1 important character that I feel like should be included in at least part of the highlight, but the author just disregard it, even though this character Is also big motivation for our MCs. I feel I don't even know her, I feel like I only see glimpses of her character. And thats because when her scenes is... less, and when her part comes up the author just skim it or even skip it completely... Like what? This Is PART of their daily life, the things our MCs want to protect... Isn't that... Important... And it's just... get... cut... How... how I am supposed to feel fully what they feel if I can't even picture it completely... It's Unfair... When I feel it... When her name comes up, I always feel incomplete... Like I should feel something... I should feel more... I should remember something... But there isn't much to remember... to feel... and That. Is. UNFAIR.

Curse you Aut-

O-oh wait if I do that then I might...

Nevermind, Bless you Author, yeah, humans is not perfect after all, yes, you have done good enough. Forget I said anything... ha ha... <<less

I only have a few words to highlight the talent of the author of this novel, in so few chapters it conveys so much... it convinces me, it makes me want to deny the unfair situation, for something that cannot be changed, I would like to see it in manga, although it would take someone talented to capture such deep thoughts.

My heart that gets stiff seeing so many stories, in this one I suffered for how well the relationship between the FL, Nozomi and the protagonist of the game where... more>> our protagonist entered, little by little you learn more things and know that it will shatter.... Maybe it's a bit of a spoiler, but I loved the fact that they didn't make her a stoic, tough FL without feelings just because it would be cool, here she has to use something that hurts her to control her emotions, anger, guilt, self-loathing, among other feelings that I can't convey.

A small home, imperfect and precious, but it can't last... I hope to see more of the author's work translated, the good thing is that the last alternative will be translated.

I am very grateful to whoever translated this and shared it with us. <<less
