Ye Tianyi was the proud son of heaven, a man standing on the top of the world.

Before the end of the world, he became the uncrowned king of the business world in his twenties.

After the end of the world, when he awakened, he had 3 abilities, Thunder Element, Space Element, and Spirit Element, leaving other people far behind.

Ten years after the last days, his abilities had already reached the 3rd tier, the strongest among human beings, and the only one who could fight against the zombie king.

The name Ye Tianyi stood for the word “winner in life”.

But God just liked to joke with people …

On the day before the end of the world, Ye Tianyi’s half-brother Su Tianyun was reborn.

At the time of the last outbreak, Ye Tianyi, who was awakening in a coma, was thrown to the zombies by Su Tianyun …

This is a story of how a winner of “human life” became the winner of “corpse life”!

Good intro but not much interesting parts. Probably I expected something more but the story is a little cliché (OP MC, short revenge plot, become zombie king, etc. It is also a quick to read; can be finished within 3 hrs.

When he became a zombie he lost his memories and killed and eat the core of human regardless if they are woman child or elder. I can understand it. Don't worry, it didn't last ?. At around c15 he completely gained his sanity. He didn't kill nonchalantly yet he didn't... more>> also help those who in need

You'll really see how ugly humans are in this novel.

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT: The MC's feeling to ML is really abrupt. And he suddenly became a zombie with perverted thoughts. Especially when the ML became 6th tier, MC always drives with the ML. It started when...

his cat can now transformed into human. The MC suddenly became a pervert ? he suddenly decided to look at him as lover not a cat the day he saw the cat transformed.

For the ending, I'm also disappointed

zombie cooperation with humans and after 1 chapter they then cooperated with sea zombie king

Probably, I've read too many novels and I honestly find this novel really bad. The author seems to rush everything.

First, the Sudden MC's romantic desire (sexual love is more appropriate) for the ML (it is his pet initially) is really too fast. It is given that MC loves the his pet. BUT he treated it (ML) as a family in the first place, and NOT a romantic partner because if the MC really feels a romantic attraction to his pet in the first place (or after getting bits of his... more>> past memory), that romantic attraction should be reflected in his actions when the ML is still in his pet form, YET during those times (pet form), he did not treat the ML as a love interest. It is only when the ML suddenly gets a human form that the MC gets attracted to MLs beautiful body and immediately becomes a horny stallion wanting to always drive the ML

Another thing is the ending, honestly, this is also the worst ending I have read. And I am greatly disappointed. U may refer the spoiler of ylial for that.

I can only recommend this to those who want to spend their time for a quick read. Because it you're looking for a BL novel with zombie or apocalypse, there are a lot that really worth your time. Anyway, since this is only short, u can read it and decide by urself if this is really good. <<less

This is a really quick read. It's an apocalyptic novel with a twist, you follow the MC as a zombie.

It's pretty good. There is a deep relationship between the MC and the ML, however their transition to becoming lovers was a bit, ugh. Not the best but overall pretty cute relationship.

MC is super op but has enough obstacles that makes him feel more realistic. And his utter indifference to humans is great, they don't make him a zombie who is needlessly compassionate towards humans.

It would have been nice if the... more>> MLs background was elaborated more but it didn't take away from the whole story.

The ending however was a bit of a let down. There was a huge time skip then it just ended.

like the collaboration between the humans and zombies was kind of weird, especially with how powerful zombies, mutant beasts and plants are. I was surprised they even had the strength to negotiate. And the random bit with the sea emperor?? They didn't even finish that part.

Overall, though it was a decent read. I enjoyed it. There were funny moments and a typical revenge plot which is always satisfying.

4/5, don't have too high expectations and enjoy the journey. I recommend.

(The translation is pretty good too, but I was way too impatient lol) <<less

Cute, self-indulgent, and short. Up until Little Leaf got 5 tails, it is really good, but most of the low star reviews come after that point. Their relationship was really abrupt, with the MC gaining feelings in one second and having sexual thoughts about his pet cat that he had for 10 years... I just chose to ignore all the scenes of the MC cradle robbing.

The MC is very cold and heartless. Sometimes the things he did would take me by surprise since I've been reading too many novels where... more>> the MC doesn't just leave babies and children to die. Basically the typical gong who doesn't care about anything other than the shou. The Ml... acts just like a child, hence the cradle robbing I mentioned earlier. He is extremely naive, knows nothing and everything, and is so innocent that he doesn't realize when the MC is manipulating him to think that not normal things are normal.

The whole I like you and you like me so we kiss, etc.

(cradle robbing)

But I really liked the whole premise of the novel, where the MC is a zombie. His golden finger is massive, getting all of the strongest powers, teleportation, and the typical hidden space. There are barely any interactions with any other characters and the MC does build a family like most other apocalyptic novels. Honestly it's not that bad, I would take this novel over any novel with an idiotic MC any day. <<less

Right, so this is the first time I wrote a review but I'll try my best to be impartial. I had good expectations for this novel and it did satisfy my cravings for unusual apocalyptic BL novels for the first section of the novel. The problem came towards the end of it. Read this rant at your own risk of spoiling the story:

The protagonist which is the gong came out too strong since the beginning and there was a lot of side characters that got forgotten throughout the novel. The ending was also very rushed as the ML subdued all the high ranking zombies (which is, wow, how did that happened?) and they end up ganging up on mutant plants with the humans (which the ML did not like in the entirety of the story) then it ended... Like, excuse me?

All I can say is that the pacing is fast. The ending is abrupt. Although the interaction between the gong and shou is cute. I don't like the fact that the shou is caught on the gong's pacing. Leaving the innocent shou being tricked that having s** is love. The gong did not let the shou understand what love really is and did not let him understand whether or not the shou really love him. As long as they are each others important person is enough to do intimate things.... more>> There is no concept of intimate love at all.

Although I like the short revenge, the huge and sudden time skip, the abrupt ending, the gong's tricks to the shou is a minus for me. But I did like it as a short read.

MC's OP. 👍👍 <<less

My opinion at first: ☆☆☆☆ and half a star out of 5

Edit: ☆☆ and half a star, because the ending is.... lacking.

MC: Ye Tianyi = gong, Ye Tianyi is cold blooded, rational with high IQ, in front of MC however he is s*upidly in love and his hormones get to his head (only when they are alone does he expose this side of him).

ML: MC's cat can transformed into human form - nine tailed cat demon. (child like temperament and intelligence) , trusts MC without second thoughts, very obedient... more>> to MC,

Really quick and abrupt ending:

A short narration of Ye Tianyi building a city for the undead and suppressing the powerful zombies, bringing/taking them under his lead.
Starts cooperating with humans against the rapidly evolving aquatic mutant animals that threaten to break through the surface.
Just as the two sides maintained a delicate balance... large scale sige/attack by the aquatic beast, suddenly their King appears and asks for cooperation. The End. : ( <<less

So... I liked the MC overall, and the ML.

But the pacing of this novel was a little bit of a mess... 0_0

Didn't the MC live in the same city that the base was built? Why did it take several days to get there by car???
Also, he and the younger brother started from the same place (his home) at the beginning of the apocalypse.
Why did the younger brother get to the base so much earlier than him and establish himself in the base while it took the MC several... more>> days to get there? I get the delay with going around from a different part of the city and stopping by to save the kid but it still wouldn't take so much time...

Also it looked like people got used to, and accepted the apocalypse too quickly. Like the old man on the first day of the apocalypse already hid with some people in the house with weapons and knew about the zombies???
It was the first day! 0_0

Regarding the sudden love of MC and ML I feel like the author shot themself in the foot. I would be willing to believe in the transition of MC's feelings (when the ML became human), because from his previous words and actions he did show that ML was very important to him. He was just an important "existence" that one can't quite give a specific title to, not just a pet. Like the closest partner, but not human.
Unfortunately the author wrote the MC stating himself that the ML was just a pet to him before which didn't exactly allow for that transition form "very important existence" to "lover". And it also felt quite contradicting with the level of importance and attachment that the MC had towards the ML before he became human.

In other words some things felt a little off here and there, but for me personally it was still an enjoyable read. I really liked the MC that is not human and doesn't force himself to integrate into the human society.

The ending though felt a little abrupt. One moment he is fighting the next it's fifteen years into the apocalypse and we are told how the world developed. Just a little abrupt... This book either should've been longer to make the ending make more sense, or cut off that part and make a different ending.

Still... An enjoyable read none the less (since I'm able to ignore those little slips) ; like I said before. <<less

It could have been better. The 4 stars are reserved because this novel could've been better if only the mess about the romance did not punch me in the face all of a sudden. Honestly, with the MC as a zombie, a merciless person, I thought it could even be placed in the Male Oriented novel, where bloody and anti-hero MC is more frequent, rather than the 90% righteous MC that BL novels usually have. The premise holds more potential since it'd go differently from how if a human were... more>> to survive in an apocalypse.

My problem came just like how others had. The way the MC suddenly becomes a big pervert, drooling after his pet demon, who previously was just treated like a pet by him, is just absurd. Moreover, the way the MC previously mocked the antagonist (Su Tianyun) as being a pretty boy who looked like a woman instead, but suddenly got attracted to the pretty boy of his cat demon, it's just like, "oh, God, hypocrite here, I sense?"

The narration was full of contradictive. The MC said he was originally gay, and sexually inclined to men from the start, yet the reason why he lusted over his transformed cat demon was that the cat became a pretty boy whose beauty transcended gender, a pretty teenager. It was so contradictory that I didn't just catch off guard of the sudden sexual urge and how the plot slammed the direction to a romance so suddenly, but also wonder just how hypocritical our MC was. <<less

I'm being generous n giving it a 5 star rating!

Normally I'd say it's a 4star.

it's got all the stuff I like BL apocalypse OP protagonists... Unfortunately it wasn't as interesting as I'd hoped.

But it's still a good one time read if u like the tags...

It's.. Okay.

The story is unique, showing the perspective of the zombies rather than the humans in the apocalypse, however that's all it's got.

MC is overpowered, which normally I'd be okay with but his shortcomings are few and far between. The fights that are considered challenging for him are resolved relatively quickly with little detail as to how.

... more>> The way the MC and the ML fall in love is very weird considering his previous relationship with him. It also develops very quickly. But generally it's fine.

The main reason I'm giving this three stars is because of the ending.. It's very abrupt. Like, it feels like the story ended a couple chapters before the story was actually supposed to end. The writing felt rushed as if the author didn't want to continue the story anymore (which is fair, but I'd honestly rather it be discontinued than have that kind of ending..) It's honestly pretty disappointing.

It's the type of novel you read when your bored, but there are some good points. The beginning is pretty nice and only really gets a tad bit annoying after the second-ish time skip. The villains are.. Well.. Villains, the MC doesn't pay much attention to them so you shouldn't either, but their demise is satisfying enough. And ML is pretty cute (Kinda hate how he turned into a bit of a stereotypical shou halfway through, like I'm pretty sure the author decreased his intelligence but I digress 🤷‍♂️)

Despite all of this, it's pretty a okay novel👍 <<less

Boring read.

MC is too OP, it's mostly just summary about how MC did this and that and became top of the world and then built an empire, the end.

It follows the trajectory of typical zombie apocalypse novels - a secret paradise space, a lot of hoarding, human bases with corrupt officials, etc.

... more>> I find it amusing that the MC is a zombie, therefore, the author made it so zombies had stronger evolution than humans and in the end, zombies are higher class and more intelligent, (wheeze).

Many of the plot points brought up by the author are simply forgotten or dropped. No real side characters or supporting cast that last longer than one or two chapters.

Translation was pretty good, just sadly this novel wasn't good. <<less

Yeah, everything was quite quick and rather abrupt, but still I like it. There was not enough storytelling on how they fall for each other. Personally, I see the shou as a naive character in terms of love just got swept up by the gong's pace without giving the shou proper time, reasoning or experience to decide for himself, then BAM, they just got together. But well, maybe because the pace of everything is so fast, I kinda ignored this point, so I'll still give it 4.5 stars, it was... more>> enjoyable, just.. The ending was abrupt indeed.

The Gong was quite OP, but there were enlightenment here and there making him realized not to be complacent so he can keep on getting stronger stably. <<less

Although the last 10 chapters are very abrupt, , and the ending was also very short?? Nothing was mentioned about the older brother except an off-hand comment from Su Tianyun... I still enjoyed reading the novel because I found that hey wait, being on the zombie side seems to have a lot of benefits, I kind of want to read more stories from this end actually....

Still, it's a very standard and smooth OP MC levelling up in the apocalypse novel. I found it quite enjoyable, even though the way he... more>> suddenly wants his cat (romantic/sexual) is so funny. It's SO funny!!! THIS is a crack. the OP threw away the plot but I don't care lmao. I think it ended when it needs to end and the time skip was weird, the sudden 15 years into the future was so rushed, anyways. <<less

PLOT: Plot is different from the usual Zombie Apocalypse novel because the MC is a Zombie (and he’s also a Gong!MC! Which is rare LOL.) He also wasn’t the person that regressed with memories of the previous apocalypse. That person was his cousin, who decided that killing off the strongest human at the end times was worth him getting his hand on the MC’s space/farming golden finger.

Minor Spoilers: ... more>>

In any case, the MC awakens after being pushed into the zombies as a threefold ability zombie. His goal at the start is to get his revenge. But his primary mission in life is to grow stronger and survive with his Little Leaf (Mutant Beast ML that can transform into a human.)

  • Ye Tianyi (MC) : Threefold ability zombie. Space/Spirit/Thunder. He’s cold and indifferent most of the time and, as a zombie, he doesn’t have much sympathy for humans — even if he does have his own morals still.
  • Ye Zi (ML) : The MC’s pet cat that awakened into a mutant beast in the apocalypse. Very loyal and cute.
Although the story is marked as Yaoi. It’s not explicit! It’s not focused on romance either. This is a “get stronger” and then “get even stronger” novel.

Rating for this is a solid 3.5! That’s pretty high for me and it’s because I really enjoyed the difference in perspective. I’ve been reading a lot of Zombie Apocalypse novels lately. And this was my first with a zombie as an MC! The differences between the two were really fascinating! I recommend it for that reason~ I personally will be rereading this in the future for that. Even though the latter plot was so-so (lacking meaning and way too fast-paced) and the ending too abrupt. <<less

In chapter 1 or 2, MC already expressed his thoughts that cats and dogs are much reliable and doesnt betray you. MC prefers cats more obedient.

MC starts having certain thoughts about his cat who can transform into human at chapter 52. So dont listen to some reviews that it was weird or something feelings developed way too fast.

Actually not a bad read. The MC as he is just want to survive (even as a zombie) with his cute cat demon and live happily ever after. The end of the world, so thats the most basic, human will do anything, in-term of survival. So usually all the apocalypse fiction always have a theme of hope, heroism, bond together to survive, love in turbulent time, but this is more realistic. Basic nature people want to live, So instinctively own self and long term will be selfish and even... more>> do things to protect oneself first. Because they don’t have the luxury to “ protect “ or be kind to others.
So in MC point of view, he neither a human and yet he still survived in the world, so he have to protect himself and the one he loves. (And luck have it, he has a op cheat,) He doesn’t mind he kills people, even human kills human for resources, whats more he’s a corpse. But in term he retain his human memories, he does have a little bit of bottom line. So most of the story mainly his pov. There’s some fluff, lol not much, but doting love for his cute cat. And kitty is very naïve and innocent (but he is also very powerful and always wants to protect his master)

The story ending really is abrupt. But even though you kinda leave it to your imagination, like a movie, the whole novel is kinda good read and I like the little twist of the background story. Thank you <<less
