I can't believe the reason I procrastinated reading this was Xuanmin being bald. Boy, I was sooo dumb.

I didn't expect to like it as much as I did! Even though I struggled with the first couple of chapters, I eventually got really interested in the story! I like how the plot turned out along with all revelations.

What I liked the most is Xue Xian's and Xuanmin's relationship- I'm a sucker for slow-burns and Copper Coins reminded me of this once again. Their dynamic and interactions are a true joy to... more>> read, especially as they get closer and closer.

Subtle feelings, hints and changes through the whole story. Precious.

I liked the side characters as well - Jiang Shining, Lu Ningqi, Stone Znang and the rest, I just found them so likeable.

The comedy part's also on point, heck I had to stop a few times to laugh!

The novel sure lacks a few things here and there, but it brought me such satisfaction and happiness that I will remember it as one of the better ones I've read.

The last chapters are particularly a great pleasure to read

I had this novel in my library for a year, and it was only recently that I decided to start reading it. Now, it is one of my favorite stories. Despite the slow-burning nature of the plot, everything in the story is interesting. At first, I was somewhat confused, but then everything went smoothly. Interesting story plot and very very amazing characters development without any possible loopholes!

Idk what I'm saying but you better read this one if you still like mystery theme novel.

ML is so cute, he takes care of MC even though in their positions, (monk vs demon) they should actually be enemies.

MC is on a journey to recover his body/powers while ML is trying to retrace his past and regain his memories. Overall, I love this demon x monk pairing. ^_^ <<less

Its ok... just a bit of a letdown compared to the reviews

The plot is pretty interesting, and I think its one of the few stories where the quality would be much better if it dragged things on rather than cut things short. It feels like there was so much more extreme unexplored potential in the plot setup, which just left me feeling a bit unsatisfied with the small scale of the main conflict + how it was resolved really superficially (concludes with barely any SHOWN... more>> history/flashbacks to dwell on; only a simple explanation of how the events came to be in the span of like a paragraph).

Same thing goes for romance. This both was yet wasn't at all a slow burn. Basically, nothing really happened for the first half of the series, and then suddenly the main CP started liking each other bc drugs... :D (a dragon lord and a supreme monk was moved just like that?? really???).

Characters are nice. I liked the MC and most of the supporting cast! ML is classic ice rock though. <<less

Their relationship is quite beautiful and unique. The plot is pretty good, not unnecessarily complicated to make you dizzy. A bit of humor, a bit of angst, lots of love and the most important; a satisfying happy ending.

This is a really good read!! As always, I loved the storyline and how the leads get together was woven so naturally within it. An intriguing story about vengeance, family and ultimately appreciating a quiet life, I reccomend this to all who love to read.

Brilliant... loved the storyline. The characters were excellent and it was a beautiful story; not too long and not too short. It was perfect. The story was gripping and exciting. The last final few chapters made me a bit emotional but it was just for 1 or 2 chapters. Loved it!!! Thanking the author and the translator for bringing this gorgeous piece of work to us!!!

This one is worth reading.

The characters are amazing! Even though it says a monk, don't expect an ordinary one, I'm telling you, you'll love him. Even I was hesitant at first, but no! I was hooked right after I read the first chapter. And the dragon, well... he's on another level. He is kind of mischievous like a five year old kiddo though he's a few hundreds years old. Both are equally smart in their own ways.

I didn't like this novel at first, the first half of the book was... more>> boring for me, what kept me going was the characters. Even the supporting roles did their best!!!

This novel cracked me up, I found myself laughing so hard and at the same time, I was crying. I personally think the climax was a bit lacking, the plot was slow pace at first, but the second half was the opposite.

This one has a happy ending. I was so surprised, because in every novel I've read so far, I wished there were more. This one was different, I didn't wish for more, it was such a nice ending. You may find it a bit draggy, but I personally think, since every novel is a whole new world, they deserve a clear ending. I'm pretty contented with this novel. <<less

After hesitating for a long time..I finally able to read this novel coz I'm not that fan of slow romance... But this one is really good while reading I imagine Wei Wuxian as Xue Xian and Xuan Min as Lan Wangji hahaha... I love the adventure and how the story of each side character intertwine..

Wow I can't believe I finished it, it felt so damn short, yes it had more than a hundred chapter but boy it felt like an hour at most just passed by that's just how straightforward the story is 😂😂😂

At first I was confused on who's the ML is but then the reviewed said it's similar to a certain pair so then it came together 😂

The story like I said is pre straightforward we finished the mystery add a few like extra and we done

The characters are all quite likeable... more>> tho we don't really have much background of em they're quite lovable like the taipu or stone Zhang or even 27

The couple felt like a certain gusu and a yiling Patriarch all in all is a good story I super recommend it if you want a quick Wuxia mystery to read to pass time <<less
