That's not a premise I've seen often, so I'm quite intrigued.

I took one star off because the translation often switches tenses and there are at least one or two typos per chapter. A bit of editing would make the chapter a 5 out of 5 stars. <<less

I might have missed something, but this novel was really angsty. There were moments where I don't understand why the characters acted that way, and the ML and MC seem to get really angry suddenly then return to normal a lot in the later half of the novel? It's like they're having mood swings almost every chapter. The first half of the novel was fine and good, but it got worse after it went past the half mark. The angsty stuff is also really repetitive? Almost every time something angsty happens its because they're hiding something from another, they find out, they fight, they makeup, and repeat. This pattern especially appears a lot in the last 15 chapters or so.

I think the first half was still fine, but the last 20+ chapters (I don't exactly remember) were a mess. Don't recommend this. Sorry for the bad English and have a nice day.

Honestly can't trist anyone who reads ahead with mtl, mistranslations are a huge thing that affects the story it really ruins it.I remember that one popular novel where mtl readers were saying the MC cheated on the ML, turns out it was a mistranslation lmfao It really affected the community. Who knows mght not even be as bad but still wish there were more chapters

It's a decent read. Mc's personality is pretty funny and I like the cross dressing ngl.

The ML is fine, kinda like him but he's kinda stereotypical. He has another person in his body which is why he looks like he has mood swings or acts different in case your MTL experience was difficult to read.

Furthermore, the misunderstandings between the main couple can be kind of annoying cuz MC omits a lot of details which causes the ML to misunderstand and stuff, he never addresses it and piles up more misunderstandings... more>> after another.

I find the MC needing to be honest and clear he's talking about Bianbian (The other person in ML's body) and saying it's ML's brother and all the other details to him instead of assuming things after ML calls says he has something wrong with his brain but maybe that's just my personality cuz I don't like misunderstandings but yeah.

My enjoyment is on a 3/5 bc I also wanted to see some drama with the protagonists and MC but I mean I'm halfway and feel like dropping it cuz it's getting boring to read now. <<less

It's good and I enjoyed it a lot. I just wish there's more to it. Like I want to see what happened to the original protagonist and other sects in more details. I also wish that the author focus more on the MC's development in cultivation, I really want to see him growing strong bit by bit. I guess I expect to see more than romance. It has a potential to be a masterpiece, but ended up just good novel.
