Description
Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Every drop of this family bloodline is stained with sin. They are the embodiment of contradiction; calm yet maniacal, with great memories yet often forgetful. They pledge themselves to their dreams yet often compromise, are angels that are also devils… It’s why I hate them. And also love them.
The only hope of his family, a youth with the blood of elves and demons walks on a battleground of annihilation and rebirth. He wills his way through boiling lava and icy depths, killing on this field of despair to strike down the lofty figure in his sight. One day he’ll grasp his blade tightly and survey his surroundings, only to find no more enemies to kill.

- Great pacing for the first 90% of the novel and outstanding writing and translation quality
- Solid descriptions that let you actually picture the environment and surroundings, which a lot of novels lack
- No constant repetition of stuff we already know every few chapters
- Decent world building + combat + magic
- Great relationships and romance that felt like a more realistic progression compared to other novels
- Fairly logical when it comes to science, magical explanations, and politics
Cons:- Some characters don't get a lot of "screen-time" as the series progresses
- Some items or mechanics are slowly forgotten or not used
- Last 10ish% of the novel felt unbelievably rushed, such that the resolution and relationship development was completely lacking.

- Pretty common problem in every Chinese/Korean fantasy novel, but the lines between different "power levels/ranks" tend to get blurred towards the end, with most moves being pulled out of nowhere, to the point where you aren't sure what the MC is capable of until he's in the middle of a fight
- MC is generally pragmatic and will eliminate future threats by just killing someone, but there are some cases where he arbitrarily lets someone go with a pretty weak excuse. That being said, those people that are let go often don't end up being threats or don't even appear again, which makes it a bit more believable that it is simply the MCs foresight (but it isn't always the case).
4.5/5 (I can forgive most of the cons because the pros outweigh them by a lot)There was so much build up for MC's excitement of reuniting with Sharon but its mostly glossed over
i've divided the novel in two parts for this review - 1: before Lina died around v5c70 and 2: after Lina died...
So for part 1 ---
one of the best novels i've ever read. good plot pacing. sufficiently indepth characters. very nice plot setting. good harem & potential harem members. sufficiently bloody. overall amazing novel with 5 stars....
as for part 2 ---
now after Lina dies, we (readers) begin to understand that author doesn't hesitate to kill off important characters especially mc's women or potential women (as plot progresses) & we remember the tragedy tag present in the description, so as mc's powers increases gradually more sh*t happens in the story making readers rage...
as the bad premonition of story going downhill hits me I started searching internet of the fates of important likable characters of the story, depressing over the the results I decided to drop it....
the story is still acceptable for the next couple hundred chapters but after that..... sigh.....
author just decides to torment and kill mc's friends and lovers for not a f*cking good reason, the plot could have gone really really nice but.... sigh....
now I wonder if authors changed midway or something.....
so considering the later part of the novel I'm giving it overall 3 stars...
this novel had really big potential, but got ruined by the author.....
- power levels are well defined and different from other series putting a lot of emphasis on cultivation
MC is strong but really works for it.
Everyone has at least an acceptable introduction, feelings and backstory to discover to some extent which makes the story and relationships more believable. the multiple plane/world makes the entire thing a bit hard to accept by time to time. It's nice that they all have different time speed and the likes though. a few relationships who turns to Romance... more>>
