Chen Heng is called a pe*vert.

For killing his s*xual partner, the dejected gong forced him to bind with a cheap system.

He has played a series of roles such as: the Holy Mother, a foolish idiot, a wretch, a very pe*verted and very cruel tyrant… The goal is to get rid of the cheap system, and return to the original world.

Confessions of the small gong:

My lover is a pe*vert, he is very violent, arrogant, black belly, and vicious.

But I still love him.

I want to break his wings and cut off his limbs.

Capture him, possess him, collect him, and let him be mine.

Small shou: Scram! Don’t talk to me!

I greatly enjoyed this novel.

As the translator stated, the two main leads are psychopaths, or something close to it. Chen Heng (MC) is cold-blooded and starts out completely apathetic to 'feelings' or 'lust.' He has no desire other than finishing the worlds quickly and killing the one who bound him to this pitiful shou system. So, he has no scruples and doesn't hesitate to employ either his charms or physical means (i.e. kill) to accomplish his goals as quickly as possible. And might I mention that he (un) surprisingly has... more>> somewhat low EQ, especially when it comes to romantic feelings?

But, Chen Heng starts to soften a little, especially around the fourth arc, after being forced to into situations where he is entangled with the ML and is prevented from harming him (system rules: cannot harm; all damage inflicted is reflected on him). It takes a while to get there, though, since he doesn't trust ML (rightly so, considering how they started out) or people in general. But it's very entertaining to watch the ML drink vinegar by the gallons, especially when Chen Heng is aware and retaliating against him for his actions in previous worlds.

My favorite part of the novel is how utterly charming Chen Heng is. The aloof, magnetic, and alluring god that all of us admire/love/want to lick? That's Chen Heng. His indifference is captivating, and when he smiles and speaks to you gently, your soul flies away into the clouds, and you can only nod your head fervently like a chick pecking rice. And well, that's the general reaction of most people to Chen Heng. I don't blame them at all, because he is that captivating, no matter what body he wears. Even if he changes his face or general character, his temperament remains coldly but irresistibly indifferent and seductive. It is always amusing to see people falling over themselves for him when we know he is only acting for the sake of reversing the plot and that Chen Heng himself remains apathetic.

The ML? Well... You start out with a very bad opinion of him, considering that he r*ped MC in the real world, and you know this from Chapter 1. He is obsessive and always hungry, stalking Chen Heng through the worlds and wanting to press him down. It's like a never-ending volcano eruption: once it's started, there is no way to stop. ML knows MC is apathetic to his feelings and detests/desires to mu*der him, but he'd rather chain him down to his side even if he is rejected. But it's difficult, especially when:

Spoiler

his memories are sealed because of the toll of forcing his soul into the worlds. He grows up with no context of his actual relationship with Chen Heng, but violently loves him still. It doesn't help that Chen Heng can be unbearably caring and gentle in order to progress the plot, but when ML finally confronts him, he is faced with complete indifference.

[collapse]

So the first three arcs, ML madly pursues Chen Heng, refuses rejection, and is faced with only Chen Heng's unmovable, stone heart. You do start to see the lovable side of ML in the second arc, however, when he is very true and sincere to Chen Heng... but it is not to be, because MC is not moved. This part, I also really like, because it makes no sense for someone to fall in love with a yandere, oppressive character (especially considering his character) unless inflicted with the very common Stockholm Syndrome in many BL novels. Chen Heng is resolute and his feelings don't waver even with ML's relentless pursuit and acquisition of his body.

Spoiler

As the reviewer above stated, Chen Heng is inflicted with a cursed physique that requires him to have s*x in order to live, but it doesn't move him emotionally. Instead, it serves to function as a plot device that wears down his ice-cold apathy to lust. He is made less indifferent to the act, and it is weighed more heavily in his mind compared to the start, when the initial r*pe simply brought him some disgust and desire to kill, but not much else in response to the violation. Moreover, he begins to understand the meaning behind the act of making love, that it is an action belonging to that of lovers, and he is taught to respond more normally to s*x i.e. enjoy it. Otherwise, I fear that there will always exist an incongruence in their s*x life where ML is always hungry, but MC remains apathetic. It is a plot device, but it could be seen as necessary in order to cure this psychopath's nonchalance, considering how cold he started out.

[collapse]

But when he is faced with increasingly considerate behavior and complete, utter devotion, Chen Heng's stone heart starts to thaw. If Chen Heng learns to soften and love, then ML learns to cherish and give. He learns the concept of love rather than possession, and adopts a gentler, self-sacrificing, yet still relentless pursuit in contrast to his initial domineering obsession. Both psychopaths take steps toward understanding what love is and can be, and the sweetness when they get together is incomparably satisfying.

But, the premise is: they are still psychopaths and there is a long way to go before they reconcile. MC is mostly an unfeeling, seductive charmer with no moral scruples, and ML is a crazy yandere for MC who cannot understand the concept of rejection. Their relationship dynamic is chaotic and undefined, but that's what makes this novel so interesting and worthwhile. I recommend it to those who can stomach the dub/non-con (non-graphic) and enjoy psychopathic, alluring MCs. <<less

Pretty good. But be warned, both leads are psychotic. MC is super intelligent, and cold. He is a true high functioning sociopath. ML is apparently very smart too, but he does have some stalker tendency, really fit the yandere.

I can see how some people might not enjoy this type of stuff. There are some non-con stuff and talks of it too. But it's worth the read if you like dog-blood relationship lines. So very messy but so good too.

The plot of each arc is okay, but can be pretty messy.... more>> There is a lot going on, and at time I have no idea who is the ML. The first arc kinda blinded you with who is the ML. Especially when pretty much everyone feels like the yandere ML

Spoiler to 1st arc's ML.

Spoiler

The ML forced his way into these world's and his soul was split. I knew right away who he is, but I thought the other two was also him too. The original plot's gong and shou was showing feeling for MC, and did show some yandere tendency. I was so confused who they were until the very end. But there weren't the ML. There are 100% people of that works. In the original plot there was more to the relationship they have with the MC's character than what the MC knew about.

[collapse]

I like how cold the MC is. His original appearance is extremely beautiful. But the characters he take over aren't always that good looking. He acts like he cares about the people around him, and those people feel like they are superior than the MC. However, MC could careless about them, and he shows it through his action and words sometime. Its only during those time can you see those extremely satisfying "face-slapping" moment. I just wish there was more.

My only disappointment is that, MC seems to to have fewer "face-slapping" moment towards the end. It was really only the first 2 arcs was the MC the one who have the last laugh. The next few arcs get really complicated and MC does have a hard time dealing with the people in there.

However, the MC might not have changed as much I had originally thought. My perceptions of the MC was clouded by his actions in the previous arcs. He didn't really change, he just mellowed out a bit. <<less

This novel absolutely went beyond my expectations! I’ve only read the first two worlds but they were absolutely fantastic with plots that can be considered overused but with a twist that made them unique.

Considering the MC, he’s very charming and seductive but he’s also aloof and uncaring. He doesn’t care about anything else except his goals and his grievances, he is the type of person who will smile in your face while thinking about your demise and suffering. All in all, he is a very interesting character but be aware,... more>> he isn’t a good person, not at all. In fact, he is a very despicable human being that is very interesting to read about, he is the highlight of this novel with no competition. If you exchanged him with any other MC this story wouldn’t be half as interesting.

Spoiler

Just an example, in the first world there was a character who was considered to be schizophrenic and the MC didn’t even hesitate to use him to kill the protagonists of that world, that’s how messed up he is. So if you can’t support this type of character I wouldn’t recommend this.

[collapse]

About ML, all I know about him is that he r*ped the MC, and I don’t really consider this a spoiler since MC tells us this in the firsts chapters, and that he is extremely possessive and sick in the head as well.

This is the type of couples where I consider that if they are together they only ruin one house, you know?

Anyway, don’t expect a typical face-slapping novel or a light hearted one, our MC doesn’t face-slap his enemies, he RUINS them, this is a very dark novel, so keep that in mind. But I still absolutely recommend this novel! <<less

I am really not sure why the reviews are high for this. It is written like slightly better version of a teenage fanfiction. I get that author is trying to create dark characters but they are so one-dimension that it is boring. It is like a wannabe edgy BL story. It is not the worst but it is certainly not good.

One of the best BL novels I’ve ever read thanks to the badass male protagonist. You’d think he’s a seme from the way he acts and the dominance he exudes. Rather than dominance, cunning character would be a better word. I have always loved main characters who do not show emotion, and focus their efforts on their goal.
Spoiler

Although he does fall in love with the male lead later on

I am just grateful he does not let attachment drag him down. He is not weak, that’s for sure.

There's 4 arc in this story, my rating started out at 5 star for first arc and slowly went down to 3 star for last arc

This story started out very unique, MC is a cold logic-driven person while ML's doesn't know what moral is... It's honestly great...

Spoiler

But then the author have no idea how to write a smooth love story between 2 psychopaths, so the cheap sl*t curse - I get really h**ny and need to be f*cked regulary by men or I'll die - was introduced... and from there a psychopath love story was transformed into less psychopathic ones and at the last arc, it's 100% generic yaoi lovely-dovely love story...

I'm very very disappointed...

MC is a firm believer of "there's no problem that can't be solved with a kitchen knife/car crash/homicide" and I respect that lol.

So far so good, the story is engaging and I'm looking forward to learn more about our ML/MC. Translation mysteriously stopped a few months ago tho, but I checked and its MTL isn't that hard to read.

I'll be generous for once and give it 5 stars ig.

I'm so frustrated about this novel.

In the beggining, based on the description of his behavior in the real world, I expected a psycho, manipulative, scheming and vicious MC. The final of the first arc should make aware of what was really expecting me.

Fron second arc onwards, it seems that I was reading another novel. At some point, the author mentioned that MC, who has a very high IQ, had read many books about courting, that's why he was able to find a way to coax the protagonist (fake) shou. Well,... more>> he used his knowledge just once. The rest of the time, he completally forgot about what kind of world he was living in, what kind of plot he was bound to, being oblivious to every hint thrown to him. Manipulative? No, the top IQ MC is just... s*upid.

Also, his schemes didn't have any specific intent, most of the time, failing to achieve his uncertain goal. Again, just... s*upid.

And about the ML, why does he come to every world, eating a big vinager jar, if the main point was 'sending MC to emotionally suffer in every f**king world' after MC tried to kill him in the real world? Nonsense.

Dropped. Just like the MC, the author also has lost his focus. <<less

Why are the novel descriptions always so bad?? Let me fix it.

MC is weird. He's so weird everyone considers him a pe*vert. High IQ, Low EQ. Has no s*xual or romantic or platonic interest in people. He likes dissecting dead bodies. He will kill and its kinda funny how he contemplates killing people. Literally only pay attention to what he cares about and ignores everything else, which can leave him vulnerable to other freaks.
Enter the ML, he drugs and r*pes MC. MC wakes up and has no idea who... more>> this freak is who's obsessed with him and kills him. ML doesn't die and binds MC to some "Abused Shou' System. MC travels to different worlds in stories and where he must play the sad and pathetic bottom who is used, abused, and killed by the story main characters while they laugh and f*ck.
MC figures out some loopholes and tries to destroy the plot.

It's entertaining despite the plotholes and terrible characters and bad world building. Like the MC is only cares about himself and fantasizes about corpses, but he can be really oblivious and troubled by emotional problems he doesn't understand, it's funny. Don't take this seriously. It doesn't really make sense, but it's fun to read. <<less

It's been a while since I read such a good story. At first I thought that I won't like this kind of plot, I mean this was really not your typical start but then got hooked after reading chapter 2.

There's a lot of things I want to say but chose not to as I think I'll end up spoiling the story for you. All I can say it is this is really worth a shot especially if you're tired of reading the same plot all over again.

I love the plot... more>> development, Chen Heng, from being indifferent to gradually softening up. I especially love the times when he becomes puzzled why he kept feeling jealous, anger, etc. And thinks he needs a checkup when he goes back to the real world.

The ML, at first, I thought he was the overbearing president type but the real world him made me realize I was wrong, he is such a cute loyal dog.

5/5 hands down, I bow to the author.

Just a pity no extra, wanted to see their interaction more with their child. ? <<less

I feel I was lied to (maybe the novel deserves a 2 or 3 stars but it was not what was promised to me so sorry not sorry). The author promises smart MC (a genius!) But he didn't double check any information he was given! Never! He was meant to be ruthless, cold-blooded psycho but he was mostly s*upidly naive and confused while being extremely overconfident. He is crazy but in a sense of 15 years old edgy Wattpad fanfic (woo I am psycho so I like dissecting random corpses... more>> for no reason). Guy is more arrogant than xianxia MC, and more noble and beautiful than transmigrated female assassin/doctor/poisoner. His revenge is a joke (but I think that it could be the author fault because we never see ML perspective and how he was affected- only smirking at the end). I was expecting something to offset badly written crematorium stories, but was extremely disappointed. <<less

I really like this story, it's a shame Foxaholic dropped it out of nowhere with no announcement, I wish we at least got a clear statement explaining what's going on. I think this situation happened before with another novel. Even if it's fan translation I think it's basic politeness in these circles to at least write: "I'm busy so I'm dropping this novel" or "I need to take a break".

Pros :

Tired of a psycho falling in love with a normal person?? Well say no more cus we have two pyschos falling for eachother with no passerby harmed.

The arcs are interesting. The first arc is the best then it goes downhill from there. The later arcs just couldn't capture MC's psycho-ness well.

... more>> Cons :

If you're searching for a normal relationship, this is not it. The story feels repeated. I only like the first arc. The ending is kinda flat. They went back to the real world and got married and had a child. <<less

Originally, I really liked the MCs character. He was a literal psychopath and was basically emotionless and didn't hesitate to kill those who he found annoying (lol)

But towards the end, the MC became... softer? Idk, he just became one of those generic MCs to me. He lost his charm imo.

Don't even get me started with the ML. ignoring the r!pe, I had pretty high expectations for the ML. But the ML just felt like a naive child at the end for some reason. I dunno. I personally feel... more>> dissatisfied with the ML and feel like he definitely needed more character development. He feels quite immature in comparison to the MC. I would've liked him more if he was more mature.

This novel gives me weird vibes, considering the age gap between MC and ML. Although MC didn't have any thoughts towards the ML and he didn't groom him or anything, it just felt weird to me idk. It was mentioned multiple times that ML is MCs apprentice in the real world, and in many of the virtual worlds, they have an age gap of 12yrs. So I would say it's safe to assume that they have an age gap of 12yrs in the real world too.

Overall, I'm really dissatisfied with the MC and ML and their relationship towards the end :/

This novel had great potential.

Sorry for the rant. I honestly think that you should still give this story a try, although I didn't like how the story developed towards the end, I would say it was still quite entertaining and gave me a decent dose of dopamine. I cant help but feel down about the wasted potential.

Still though! It was a pretty good read and temporary satisfied my hunger for BL lol

Edit: I noticed a review by "wired. eye" sharing their dissatisfactions with this novel. I agree with some of the things mentioned, but I just wanna let you know that alot of your questions will get cleared up later on in the novel!! Don't prematurely leave a bad review without even having completely read the novel.

If you're curious as to why the ML followed MC into the virtual worlds despite having sent him there himself (Major spoiler (?))

Spoiler

Basically, after ML had r!ped the MC in the real world, he put some other guy in the bed with MC and tricked MC into thinking that the other guy had r!ped the MC. This other guy was just a poor canon fodder who liked MC and ML was jealous so he used this opportunity to kill of the other guy. But this cannon fodder unexpectedly bound the MC to the "slag system" and ML, although he knew MC could make it through the virtual worlds by himself, he still decided to accompany MC even though he would face great repercussions. Tbh, I didn't feel touched or anything when I found out about this. The ML failed to provoke a sense of sacrifice/love for the MC in me. idk what's wrong with me ;-;

Got to say these arcs are pretty long, I reach half way with 2 arcs. I loved the MC, but I don't like r*pe, ML had the mentality if you don't like me I will still have your body type of mentality going on. I had a bold idea to let the MC have a harem and do it infront of the ML to inflict him thousands of mental wounds.

I was on a crossroad of whether I should continue, then I realize this novel is not healthy for my mentality.... more>> Everything is very edgy. I prefer the 9 gong 1 shou novel the author wrote. I read over 200 chapters and this one my mind couldn't get past 52. This novel is good for those extreme mentality adventure seekers. I know I should stop at this now or I would get into 50 shades of grey territory. <<less
