This is a well translated, light hearted, and funny story, full of fluffy and cute moments. In fact, the entire thing is focused on having as many cotton candy moments per chapter as possible. It's great for a casual read while waiting for other stories to update.

The characters are all really funny and have strong personalities with clear distinctions. They fit well into separate categories, and while this means they lack complexity, it makes it easier to get a grasp on them within moments. It also complements the harem style... more>> of romance perfectly.

Of note is the pacing. Each chapter is short (but densely packed with yuri moments), and the pace is a little slow. After 8 chapters, less than a day has passed. It's possible that it will speed up after the character introductions and exposition is over, but taking it day by day like this isn't bad either. We'll have to see.

Keep it up Mr. Robot! <<less

I want to like this but I can’t because nothing makes sense and the plot is basically nonexistent. I guess do know what’s going on but the characters are too generic and 2D. And I do not know anything about the world they are in. It’s good if you’re only here for the yuri part and are able to turn off your brain. But this novel is not for me.

Translator here. I think the best way to describe this is as something similar to Yuru Yuri or A Room for Two. The main purpose of this story is to be cute and show off flirting. There is progression in the story, but any real 'plot' is minimal.

Spoiler

Yes they do form a harem eventually, and that does open the door for more cute moments.

Overall it is something really nice to just pick up, read a couple chapters as a palette cleanser, then tackle something weighting afterwards.

Sooo... what to say? It feels like a really bad harem with a Yuri theme with the writer wanting to lean heavily towards a seinen audience. It's got a lot of the typically negative aspects of the genres without really trying to do anything different. I can't help but think that the author is a guy that didn't want to write a male protagonist but still wanted to follow trends. And since this is probably a webnovel published purely online they also go a bit crazy with some of the... more>> questionable and... seedier aspects of characters and their lives.

Plenty of S*xu@l Harassment and even a little bit of r@p3 mixed in there for good measure. The amount of "yuri" harems, genderbender "yuri" harems, and male fantasy material lately has just been a massive disappointment. I want to read yuri because I enjoy yuri, not because I'm looking for something written for men or with a male protagonist pretending to be a woman. I guess the only redeeming factor for this one is that it doesn't fall into the latter category. Though there is usually a theme with these types of stories that the MC is only a lesbian because they had a trauma with men and they're afraid of them now. As if a female protagonist can't be interested in women unless they have some life-altering tragedy in their past. Blarg.

It can be a cute and fluffy slice of life sometimes I guess, but those parts completely fall apart when you think about the more serious topics the story either pretends aren't that serious or just flat out makes fun of.

Basically, not my cup of tea.

I have noticed one thing about webnovels that I'd like to share with potential readers. Any novel that begins to exceed 150+ chapters might eventually follow trends and drag things out, usually losing focus or doing some terrible crap. The higher the chapter count, the worse the novel usually is. Anything over 200 can usually be given an instant pass. I just like yuri so I tend to punish myself by trying to read even the crappiest of them.

A good guide for novel readers: 200+ chapters and ongoing = bad. <<less

It is important to note that the author has split this series into "parts".

The first three parts is where Yuriha tries to build her harem and it is filled with jealousy, depressive tones, and yandere stuff. This is the part that I really liked and it was fun to see Yuriha's reactions to each love interests' advances towards her.

After the first three parts however is when the series starts becoming really slow and it becomes more of a slice of life series with girls just hanging out with each other.... more>> The yuri is overlooked and we only see glimpses of it when the love interests sexually harass Yuriha (Which happens far too often and you start to get uncomfortable reading it).

Spoiler

The s*xual harassment becomes worse when we learn that Yuriha was r*ped in the past and that's why she has such a strong distaste for men. Only Ranko learns of this fact and 30ish chapters later Ranko decides to drug Yuriha and r*pe her??? Like what??? Also Ranko knows that Yuriha has past traumas of s*xual harassment and yet she is the one who harasses Yuriha the hardest?

[collapse]

Another issue is that instead of a harem, later on after the three parts this only seems like a love triangle between Yuriha, Ranko, and Sakihime. The author only wants to focus on these three so Yuzuriha and Hinoka become somewhat like background characters. Instead of a yuri harem this series instead turns into two groups of Ranko x Yuriha x Sakihime and Yuzuriha x Hinoka.

Spoiler

Sakihime also starts sexually harassing Yuriha so we have Ranko, Hinoka, and Sakihime all sexually harassing her and Yuzuriha being the only "normal" one. However since Yuzuriha is overlooked in the story it's a shame. I really like Yuzuriha since she is cute.

[collapse]

Overall this series is a 3/5. A good read until the fourth part where it just turns into a slice of life about girls hanging out with each other. <<less

I like the novel a lot, it’s pretty good and I like the personalities of the characters, I only gave it 4 stars cuz I don’t like how one of the characters were acting

Spoiler

when yuri was trying to include ranko, saki was obv against it, which is fine, but when ranko is included, I can’t stand how Sami is all over her. The thing that annoyed me the most is when Sami got all up on ranko about to kiss her like yuri had done to her before. Idk if she’s trying to make yuri jealous, if she really likes ranko, or is just trying to get back at yuri for doing it to her, but I don’t really like it going on.
