But after, I was dragged into an Academy Romance Novel, which I skipped over after only reading the prologue.

4 ⭐ Enjoyable, with some issues that slightly ruin the enjoyment.

4⭐ for harem enjoyer and 3⭐ for average readers. I would recommend this novel to people who want an MC who's not dense and have segs with his harem. (There's R19 content, quite decent) If you don't like harem don't waste your time.

The MC is a transmigrator who transmigrated into the novel he reads. And after much suffering in that world, he was reincarnated into another novel that he reads, but he only reads the prologue.

The novel he reincarnated into is an academy romance with yuri? as a theme. His goal for entering the academy is to escape from his overprotective family and by results he unintentionally taking the top spot from the protagonist of the novel, Aria. At the entrance ceremony, he met Aria and her friend Brynhild, the hero, and a strange orange-haired girl. That strange girl cried right after he spoke up to her. The strange girl said she's a regressor.

A broken regressor who regresses more than a hundred times. And she's isn't the only one... This is a story about a reincarnator and regressors healing each other's wounds.

Character

The consistency to their setting and the reasons for the heroines to fall in love are believable (some are forces bc the author is a harem enthusiast). There're many types of heroines to invest in, I especially like the meek virg*n succubus Nika and b**ba dragon Erestica, who holds both maternal and womanly love for the MC. You can find character's trait in the tag.

What you probably don't like

Pacing

Romance is very slow compared to the skinship closeness with the heroines. The need to build relationships with the many heroines further adds to its slowness. The MC's deliberate indifference to the heroines advances will also probably frustrate you. If you enjoy harem, these should not be a problem since it's quintessential.

Plot

1. As this is a harem novel, you probably don't like that your fav character doesn't have enough scenes for you to enjoy.

2. Cliche fantasy academy development e.g. entrance ceremony, monster attack, conflicts with people, club, etc. If you don't have bias against the settings then it should not be a problem.

3. The plot doesn't keep you engaged enough but if you're interested in the regressors this won't hinder you.

World building

As with any other works in the academy genre, world-building is barely touched at all.

I personally really enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a good harem with characters that have a bit more depth this is very good and there's a couple mysteries that keep up the suspance but don't feel dragged.

The action is good, the powers are interesting and the backstories are good in my opinion.

And for once the MC is neither a dumb kid nor an overly serious zero libido guy. He really feels like good character with a couple understandable human flaws and a lot of good points, he was one of... more>> the best parts imo.

The part I appreciate the most is the last part. After 80% of the chapters the story is almost done but theres a ton of loose ends and that last 20 percent is a more chill part with less action that focuses and tying up those loose ends and giving closure to every single character even side characters, it's really nice and something I wish more novels did. (But remeber the adult Tag, because aside from a couple moments in between after the main story wraps up and the main plot is done, although it's be an open ending if you didnt read further, the mature content ramps up a lot, but fir me that was a plus)

The translation is good and aside from some common pronoun errors every now and then it flows smoothly. (Exceot for 2 instances that aren't the translators fault but the author since from 1 chapter 2 the other the scene changes so abruptly it almost looks like a chaoter is missing but that's not the case)

Had great start but fall off after like 40 chapters. And I can just say it was bad, but it really was not at the same time. If author just fit 200 chapters in in 80 or maybe less the story would be like 4/5 from just plot point and 5 for harem enjoyers. However it was milked so hard and even not from harem, action or some interesting point, literally I can't justify why. It was so bad that you can skip half of the story without missing anything.

The... more>> translation was good, missed sometimes his/her words but other than that sentences flow organically. Skip novel if you have something else to read because it's mid at best to others. <<less

It's OK. The world-building is moderately interesting and the characters are fine, but the forced nature of their existences kinda pollutes everything.

Nothing feels particularly natural. I think it's an alright read (the translation and writing are both fine) but it is not overly compelling or hooking me.

The harem aspects seem the most natural as you have these characters with no one else to cling to but the MC, who literally makes their free will work, but they're all a bit too broken that they end up feeling one-dimensional.
