He whispered, “He who obtains this Classic can save lives.”
The old man was none other than Hua Tuo, who was set to be executed by Cao Cao. Before his death, he wrote the Classic of the Black Satchel (青囊書), wanting to just continue to save lives.
In the history books, the book was burnt due to the jailer’s fear of breaking the law. It had never seen the light of day, causing Traditional Chinese Medicine to lose a thousand years of progress.
In truth, the jailer hid the book and it had finally been found in 1975, by a boy named Zhu Hansheng, an aspiring doctor…
