There's too few chapters and each are too short to really judge but.... so far it's below average. The story flows well, the dialogue is natural and there are brief heartfelt moments, but it's shallow on details and feels like the author races through things too much, so it's not enough to have an impact. It feels more like a summary of the typical average quality web novels, with the unnecessary/poor bits taken out.

Novel is decent I guess. Easy to read and understand. But I don't really like the concept. Author is kinda overdoing it with the black hair nonsense. Having black hair means no element and is taboo. That I get, but what's with all the over the top reactions from others about it? Contempt and despise I get, but all the mistreatment and avoidance is just s*upid. Is not like the black hair has diseases or were demons that slaughter others in the past. There aren't even any great infamy about... more>> them or that the hair make them super ugly or anything. All it represent is that they are weak and is just a color. But author keep mentioning in every chapter how much injustice a black hair kid is getting. Overreacting if you ask me. If I was a passerby I would just ignore him, but all the people is keeping a distance and insulting him. I mean seriously? Calling him a creep just because of the hair? What I am more annoy about is his age. 10years old traveling to become a adventurer. His 3 years training and using the sword. What nonsense is this? A 7 years old can barely do any of that stuff and neither should he if he wanted to grow a healthy body. Real workout on the body only start to work after they pass 12. He even mention he wanted to join the war if he was stronger. A 10years old on the battlefield. Now that's a sight to see.

I also despise the sister character. If she really wanted to help him or care she would have done way more for him. All she did was give him some advise and scold others if he get hurt. I mean come on, at least give him some protection, cash or other material stuff to survive alone in the world. The people I most dislike are those that act nice and help others by saying some words but never took real actions to solve the problems <<less

Bland MC, also very dumb MC. First 10 chapters are extremely irritating. Reading MC's inner dialogue will destroy your brain cells.

This is an extreme 'shut your brain off and read' type of novel. I don't know why I tortured myself reading so far (90 chapters, mtl)... I guess I kept reading for the 'revenge' payoff, which was not worth it...

It feels like the Author enjoys consistently pointing out how s*upid and slow our MC is, and it's not done in a comedic way... It's little stuff like 'oh I forgot... more>> that I don't have a left eye', and explicitly stating it took him 5 hours to get through like 4 sentences of internal dialogue to figure out 'I need to become stronger' (ch 8). And just overall he is extremely slow on uptake. In every situation/room feels like he is the last person to figure out what's going on. And once again, it's not comedic. It's also not a 'cute' dumb, because the MC has literally no personality, so it feels like being dumb is his personality.

Author pulls all the tropes out, pretty lazily, even pulled the Amnesia trope out, and the feedback was so bad on that Amnesia chapter it was re-written.

Note to Translator: No-one wants to hear about your loli preferences.... whining that characters bodies are growing up... that's weird to read <<less

It's a slightly above average story that doesn't do anything too special, but it doesn't takeaway from the fact that it is still enjoyable. If you can't find any fantasy novels that particularly interests you, then I suggest this one.

Well it's a jp novel about discriminated MC becoming stronger and rising through the ranks.

I did read this back in 2017 cause I was bored and the beginning was interesting. I mtled the chapters from 18 onwards so I may have missed some things.

Still it's a very bland and boring novel with our MC having little to none personality and the girls swarm him. Yes harem.

Welp I wouldn't waste time on this any longer. Plus the author has been on hiatus for more than 4 months now
