This is one of those stories where the MC is 'crazy' and has trouble getting along with people. There are many different kinds of crazy, and some of them come across more interesting than others when written down into a story. Sometimes a MC is 'crazy' in that he can confidently disregard the rules or logic of society. Maybe they even have a special power that lets them disregard the physical rules of reality. Sometimes a MC is 'crazy' because they simply have the wrong world view, they are a... more>> fish out of water and just dont get the common sense of the new world they are in. Sometimes that craziness is a coping mechanism for something that the MC experienced, it's something relatable and while you might not want to be around that kind of person irl its still an interesting character to stick with in a story.

Unfortunately, the MC is none of those things. He's just 'homeless person with a manic disorder' crazy. He picks fights with people after failing to understand basic social queues. He irritates everyone around him with his outbursts. He has an unfounded source of pride and arrogance that serve him no real benefit. He is a legit mentally ill person off his meds causing problems to everyone he meets and interacts too deeply with. By chapter 17 he is

a full on mu*der hobo and a danger to society

His outbursts are predictable, as are their outcomes. He's the kind of person you'd avoid irl but it wouldn't be a long lasting problem because eventually someone would put him out of his misery. Unfortunately he is carried by plot armor and is suprisingly strong from the start because he 'exercised' in the 'real' world. The author takes you on a ride with the MC, never being clear where exactly the MC ended up. The MC has his own ideas, but is constantly proven wrong which does lead to a bit of interest and mystery. The story it self kind of flows like its directly out of the mc's mind, with him constantly talking to himself like a lunatic. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesnt. Theres also abit of casual racism thrown into the mix. The 'black haired forigner' kr trope seems to be a dog whistle for this kind of content, were the SUPERIOR KOREAN is forced into BACKWARD BARBARIAN LAND and has to make due with his limited understanding of the situation. Considering how unlikable the MC is, this doesnt really improve the story if you aren't already a patriotic korean.

tldr; that crazy face he has in the novel cover is how he is 99% of the time. The fight scenes are pretty exciting but the mc's personality is the worst.

To be clear, im not saying the story is bad, or the author is a poor writer. This author has done a fantastic job creating an intentionally unlikable MC. Right from the start its clear there is something wrong with the mc's personality and it irritates everyone he meets even before he transmigrates. Personally, I think this kind of character is better off as a side character and not a MC, it's like if someone rewrote the legend of the condor heroes and you were forced to follow around western venom all day long. <<less
