Makoto Tanaka, an office worker belonging to the Black Guild.

One day, Tanaka mistakenly distributes a video recording for company nationwide.
Viewers who saw Tanaka’s unconventional power went wild, and the distribution eventually attracted 100 million people.

Tanaka suddenly becomes a person of the moment.
The president of the guild he belongs to gets angry at him and yells at him.

Tanaka, who has become unemployed, is active as a free dungeon broadcaster and becomes more and more famous.
On the other hand, the guild that banished Tanaka was on the verge of collapse.

Literally millions of people tell the protagonist he's amazing. "No, I'm just a boring old salaryman."

Literally millions of people tell the protagonist that a girl likes him. "No, that's impossible, because I'm just a boring old salaryman."

Of course, even millions of people could be wrong, but they point out specific, concrete examples in both cases, and a quick google search could prove or disprove, but the protagonist just kind of shrugs it off and moves on, I guess so he can keep feeling insecure and act like a dense protagonist.

This is a combination of all the tropes and gimmicks that require no talent to make a successful story from. So you're not coming here for quality. This is a "read it until you get bored" type of novel. There's no great plot lines here. It's Twilight for men, but it makes Twilight look like an amazingly well written novel.

Dense harem protagonist. Guy is pretty much the most powerful person in the world with a comment system telling him all these girls like him and he can't figure out girls... more>> like him.

Endless dinner parties with meaningless banter. I think only 4 arcs have happened in the series so far and they don't last that long. The vast majority of chapters are spent with the protagonist at a dinner party of some kind exchanging one-liners with his harem. So about 5 chapters of dinner party, then a couple chapters of plot progression before another dinner party.

Live stream comments done wrong. Think "The Darkness was Comfortable to me" type of comments. Just a wall of people commenting about the protagonists harem. There is a little bit of comments about actual plot progression, but the vast majority of it is meaningless jibber jabber.

Once and done gimmicks. This is what kept me reading as long as I did, but the protagonist being the strongest person to ever live is getting old fast.

If you've ever played a multiplayer game, you've probably seen an admin come in and start playing with the gravity settings. The intent of the game usually falls apart and people start screaming "OMG LOW GRAVITY" while jumping in a circle ignoring any and all objectives. That's what this novel feels like. <<less

This has no right to be as enjoyable as it is. I enjoy any well thought out netizen novel to begin with, but add to that by making the characters behave reasonably for the most part, and our MC Tanaka actually being really cool in his business suit and attache case, beahah. A must try.

To be honest, this has been a supremely enjoyable read thus far. My only gripe is that because this isn't under the romance label or even has the romantic subplot tag, that there's likely to be a ton of cringe as Tanaka just fails to notice a girl's affection for him, never to change. I'm none too fond of that particular JP trope, but aside from that, this is truly a good novel.
