tbh I really wanted to give this a two star rating but held back because I have no right to as I barely read this story... but as far as I have read I'm absolutely disgusted by the main character. I have tried making excuses for her over and over again saying shes a pitiful child and has suffered throughout abused by her family never feeling warmth in the most awkward years for a little teenager.

what threw me off was her feelings for her step-bro and how she kept coming... more>> on to him when she was drunk knowing he was engaged-it doesn't matter willingly or not. her overall character and moral values to me was just utterly disturbing.

although this is just the beginning of the story and its only written as such so that in the future her character will just shine more she just doesn't sit well with me. I dont like her nor her friends.

in fact stories like these where the MC is usually an illegitimate kid I bear it since the mothers were usually cheated-even in this one the mother was cheated yes but the thing is that the mom forced the MC onto the family. no matter who it is will not like their husband/fathers illegitimate children of course abuse is not right but I find her so disgusting... her mother died trying to keep her alive and finding a way out for her but she can only make it more messy.

this is just chapter 40 tho the story must be way more than this. might even be good, manyy people may enjoy this but be warned the MC has flaws all over and I feel like I dislike her a lot. im not saying other characters or even ML are goood but for me the most important in the book is the MC.

this may be a story about a CEO spoiling his oung wife but idk how much drama is in between. <<less
