The body swap trope is a little old, but the execution is adorable. The author knows what they're doing and nothing drags on. I loved it. 5 stars.

Don't go into this expecting terrible family dramas or lots of face slapping. It's a lot of feels and one, teensy tiny face slapping incident, and a whole lot of fluff. Good quick read if you're in the mood for that kind of stuff.

The story is lovely.

My favorite part was the FL’s mother’s story and her romance. The sibling-like relationships within the Gu and He families, as well as the loving bonds between the Fu and Song parents, are charming and touching—I even cried at some moments.

The body swap was interesting but a bit tedious. However, once they returned to their original selves, the story took a positive turn.

The plot is simple, with some holes, forgotten storylines, and characters. Some things are left unresolved, but the main storyline leads to a happy ending... more>> (HE).

The relationship between the FL and ML feels more like that of siblings or close friends—I wouldn’t even call it a romance.

Lmao but for real, this was quite an enjoyable, nice read. Fluffy and cute and with a wholesome focus on family. I feel like among other themes like the bodyswitching, romance, and ideas of gender equality (easily supported by the female MC's badassery), the healing and (re) forging of familial ties seemed to be most prevalent. I loved that part of this story, and I'm really happy for our leads and their families.

Though it's not perfect, I could only list half a handful of things that didn't really sit right... more>> with me, while the things that did number in the dozens.

usually I dislike ancient novels from girls perspective because we know how much they are constrained hence the plot mostly revolves around home, grandmother, half-sisters, aunt's and hierarchy between these women but here you gain a fresh new perspective and even feel the if FL was seriously a men then she would be the top bachelor available.

Also because of FL ML doesn't have the trouble of 'going into the house' to bring the bride of course.

And op ML is not here thankfully he's just.... not the one to be bullied....

A straightforward novel, with cute characters and a little plot twist. The drama is minimal and the pace is a little fast but you will enjoy the relationships development and all the uncovered truths.

This is a light story, but I cried several times while reading this story. There is a bit of family drama, I like the relationship between ML and his family, I was sad when I read the part when ml's father apologized, for fl's family too. Actually I want to read more about fl's family, her relationship with her father. Well, I'm just biased because I prefer novels in the family genre. Overall I recommend this story

Short and sweet!

The leads body switch and enjoy their lives especially the FL.. LOL.. The story isn't deep and the world building isn't complicated. It feels like you are reading an extra novel.. But they explain stuff well enough so you don't miss anything.
