Its just non stop r*pe played off as a lover who is too obsessed. Yah yah he came back and got a second chance, but nothing about this is romantic. I'm all for smut, but it's gotta be both ways. Some sort of confirmation that she is fine with this. He literally just came up to her in the middle of the night and r*ped her in his cousins room. Tr*sh. Should've dropped a long time ago.

This was a straightforward and usual smut novel so don't expect a plot. Honestly, I initially thought this will have good premise bc of the synopsis with ML (Lin Yifeng) being rebirthed and loving FL (Pei Yan) in two lifetimes with him having unrequited love in 1st life so kinda disappointing.

Anyway, the leads' chemistry was good with ML being doting and crazily in love... however, I find some snu-snu scenes uncomfortable bc ML came off as creepy and his perverse actions made him beast in bed (not in good way).

Also,... more>> cons were so many unaswered questions especially details of the past life.

• Why did FL disappear? Did she pursue her dreams abroad or something bad happened to her? Bc how come ML can't find her despite his power/influence? Or did she kidnapped or something

• Did FL and ML got label/ relationship before? Bc based on ML's memories they got intimate but also said he's always behind shadow watching her... or did they became bf/gf after breakup with Wei Yan?

• Did ML died before rebirth? What's cause of his rebirth and what happened to him prior it?

• Wei Yan (2nd ML/FL's bf in past life) was finely introduced but author failed to use details of past... like only details came up was he forcedly married (arranged by family) after FL disappear. Author didn't write how they broke up or something.
