Choi Sion suddenly loses his job due to his boss’s midnight escape.

While feeling dejected, a homeless man – no, an Archmage – approaches him with a job offer.

“From now on, you will manage a hotel made from the body of the World Tree.”

Just as he’s becoming the manager of the World Tree Hotel and adapting to his new boss, a talking raccoon, and unique guests…

[Mysterious ‘dimensional doors’ leading to other worlds appearing all over the world, including Korea, Japan, China, and the United States.]

[Humanity. The discovery of a second new continent. Its name is Planet Serna.]

It seems something unusual is happening on Earth as well.

This novel is a new way to tell of a common theme of novels: ordinary MC becomes OP thanks to abilities given to him, rather than something he worked hard for. MC also becomes an important influence in not just Earth but also other worlds.

Choi Sion was chosen to manage a hotel made from the body of the World Tree. The hotel guests he would receive mainly comes from other worlds, and he receives mana as the accommodation fee which helps the World Tree grow. He unlocks more abilities as... more>> he satisfies each guest that checks into the hotel, but his starting skills are already pretty OP within the area, and to a certain extent, outside of the hotel.

Everything has been convenient to Choi Sion so far: internet access, hotel renovation, housekeeping, supplies, and ideas to satisfy guests. Wouldn't it be OP if you can literally read the mind of the guest's preferences, then terraform the hotel with "just a wave of your hand" to your heart's (and guest's) desires? As an example, he constructed and decorated the lobby with interior and art with that same OP power (remember, art is not just about looks, it's hard work and dedication to a craft! basically AI-art-copied his way as a shortcut). Choi Sion displays problem solving and thinking skills though, as he uses this skill to tailor the room and experiences to each unique guest, even researching for more supplemental information. As I'm still in c13 writing this review, there is still no major plot problem that would genuinely give hardship (and more flavor and depth) to our MC, so we shall wait see.

I also found it funny when Choi Sion said,

'Should I inform the Korean government about this information or not? But then, how would I explain? That I could know about the jewel's information through an ability I received after meeting an Archmage and becoming the manager of the World Tree Hotel?'

To which he immediately added,

If he told the truth, he would immediately become a lab monkey.

At best, he would be a hero who brought an incredible item to Korea...

Lol idk about hero, my guy. but sure!

A small thing I dislike though is one chapter in the POV of a Serna—the otherworld—emperor. I get that the vassal that burned the World Tree deserves punishment, but why is it always
Spoiler

"exterminate his entire family. Also, kill everyone involved in burning the World Tree without exception."

?

Make no mistake, I do enjoy the story so far, but only lightly. If the only memorable thing about this is "manager of World tree hotel" and no other detail or plot progression would arise, then that's all this novel would be. It's fun and entertaining, but it still is the same theme you've probably read multiple times and contains issues that all other novels like it have. At least in this novel, the way the trope was interpreted is fresh; it's not the same tower-dungeon-system window stuff that's prevalent in NU.
