Im so surprised when the ending is supposedly ch. 87 but im happy that it got moved to 110. The story is nice to read and its really good if your into yandere (that can hurt his lover but will suddenly be slightly moderate in the end) They actually keeps their child and you will love gheir children I promised. Some people dropped this when the male abandoned the little snakes but still... they reunite and live with their baby female and male snake

I put off reading this bec I thought the ML was legit gonna be a snake - hes not! Suprise suprise! Hes just a snake beastkin and turns human for the majority of the intimacy.

The later half of this seems to be pretty fluffy, but be warned that ML is a major d*ck first, physical abuse type dick.

This is the lowest I rated any novel. The main problem is ML is not only a yandere he's an a**hole. I'm going to try and explain it without using spoilers but it was mostly about the way he treated his kids.

I really don't hate the book for ML throwing away his kids. He really thought of it as natural. My problem is that he never grew as a character. He never realized it was wrong. Realistic but what the point of seeing that in a book. He loved MC but never tried to understand him. Never even asked him about his past 😞. About why he was attached to the kids.

I don't understand how MC doesn't resent ML. Because those kids loved him and so badly wanted to be around their dad and ML would not let him be there for them. After everything those kids went through they still went to find MC and live outside their village. T.T ML was going to have to "punish" me or whatever because we were fighting that day. Honestly I think it was a mixture of lack of childhood love, Stockholm syndrome, and the how heavily reliant MC was on ML.

So I read to the official ending of the cnovel, didn't get to read the extras but the main sorry was good.
The MC shu jintian unexpectedly overcomes his fears while adapting to a new world that is unlike his own world and meets an unlikely companion. HE Cnovel although there were some dark aspects to it that I skipped over.

The ending was a little rushed I felt, but maybe since I didn't read the extras it would have explained what happened after more. Hopefully someone will pick it up and translate the last few extra chapters.

Rating: 3/5- This story was average.

The characters aren’t very likeable, the plot relies on overly shocking and crude depictions of beast like instincts and the story is incredibly simple.

I wouldn’t necessarily read this type of story again- I think I expected more of a Guide to Raising your Enemy or Husband Raising Journal type vibes with beastmen. In this case it’s pretty much reading a bad romance on National Geograhphics.

It seems that everytime I review something it's out of f*cking spite. All these 1 stars reviews ah... do you not read the tags before you read the novel? I'm not saying everything should be 5star fantastic but maybe read the tags first before diving into something you obviously don't enjoy.

I'm done with this! I've read a lot of bad stories but honestly this one is unbearable to me. I've never written a review or given one star to a story but this one I really didn't like to the point where I'm doing this.
The only thing good about this is the translation, they did a good job.

Honestly when I read the description I was really excited about it, but 60 chapters in and I was already exhausted.

The seme is a complete assh*le and throughout the novel I was waiting for some character development but trust me their isn't. There will be moments where it seems like okay now the seme will get better but in the end all hopes will be useless and he'll still be a f*ckt*rd who has no consideration of others. Almost everything he does is forced and hurts the uke. Tbh his personality becomes more unbearable as the story goes on.

And I absolutely hate what he does to the uke and their children.

There is honestly no love in this... just obsession and forcefulness. I really wish that the story had an alternate ending or more like an alternate plot because the uke and the children didn't deserve all this.
Almost everything in here is non consensual or just simply to the point where the uke is getting hurt.

No freedom is given to the uke. And it's exactly like the tags say... it's non con, has Stockholm syndrome, child abuse, r*pe, etc

Halfway through the novel I just wanted the uke to get back to his original world.

I honestly don't understand how some people like this one and find it towards the fluffy type stories! All the seme does is use force on the uke and abuse the children.

In the end I just wanna say that if you want then you can give it a try, because the translators have done a pretty good job. The plot is kinda good in a way it creates suspense. But I seriously can't give more than these stars because I just can't overlook the seme's hellish behaviour towards the uke and his own children!

I really enjoyed this overall. I read the MTL and while I didn’t get a lot of the small things, still enjoyed it! It was fluffy at times!

Awesome story! Has it all. Reminds me a bit of my favorite story: "A s*ave to the servants" by Doctor Wolf. Definitely recommend both that and this. :) I couldn't wait for the translation and read the rest of the story on mtl site. And it was so good that I read it, despite the translation not exactly being up to par..!

FYI the main story is completely translated just the extras arent. You can find MTL's of these though and I did enjoz reading the extras because they do round out the ending pretty nicely.

As the tags show it's generally a WebNovel that isn't for everyone. I myself still very much enjoyed it. The focus was put on them being of different species and how their instincts and cultures clash. I think the author did a good job on representing both sides emotions and opinions.

Honestly I’m surprised at myself for coming this far, I mean it was so stressful and annoying that I thought I’d just stop reading it. I guess I had a high expectations because I read similar stories with the primitive society as a setting and I enjoyed them.

Translation was so good but the characters and the way they were written wasn’t that good and made people have a false sense of expectations that they shouldn’t have for a primitive non-human shapeshifter or young master with no survival instincts.

I learned that this novel is dropped. And I just read at Ch 88.

I still don't know if Shu Ye is really Shu Hanyu child or from that Hong Zhao-whatshisname--- I have my suspicion. So I'm still waiting to know more about it.

The MC suffers quite a bit all throughout the novel, but it got better in the final chapters; the aftermath of a tragedy. Don't go and read it all whilst dismissing or disregarding the tags, otherwise you're either going to click out entering a queasy scene or sit and read... more>> through it in horror hahaha. Vague summary: guy transmigrates, gets caught and possessed by huge as snake who wants to copulate with him constantly - snake restricts him of his freedom, giving him only what is necessary and only eases up when he gets what he wants. Guy runs into trouble several times minimum including getting captured by the snake in the entirety of the novel.

Three stars because I read it knowing what to expect, and enjoyed the good experiences (I found it kind of sweet for the ML to be protective of the MC in the last chapters after they separated - trying not to give out spoilers). You're free to skip chapters with the especially sick stuff, there's nothing particularly significant to miss if you find it unbearable (I tried to sit through it, caught a few moments and skipped through until it was safe). It was okay to yum brain rot, but not my kind of brain rot. The plot was okay.
