So first, I found it very cruel when MC told ML to wait for her, the rest of his life. Like she doesn't even know, when she will get her past life's memory. Still, it's very inhumane to tell your lover to be in misery by waiting. The ML was mentally unstable. He waited for her 20 years in this belief that she'll come back. My heart broke for him. He was the most pitiful character here.

second, I liked Fl's father a lot. He was the coolest father and also reasonable. But at last, he refused to let ML and MC reconcile. He told himself, that he'll never become like his parents who forced things on him saying, they knew what is good for him. But at the end he became what he feared most. Like constantly telling our poor ML that he shouldn't come near Fl. He should marry someone else. And fending lies to FL saying ML liked his sister. So, she's a substitute for her.

Where has the cool father gone? Who promised that he'll always support his child's decision, will never try to force his feelings on her. He promised ML that he'll give his daughter to him. But after 20 years, he refused that. He knew without Fl, ML would die. Still crushing his hopes, making him feel inferior, it felt like he was telling him to su*cide.

Fl's father was my most favorite character, but in the end, he became annoying prat. He became like his scum parents whom I hated most. The most pity I felt for is our Ml. Poor soul. He always has to suffer by Fl's family. First, his father died, his home got destroyed because of them. Then he had to wait for 20 years in misery. He can't even live with MC in peace more that 20 years. He could die as he's already very old. [43 years]

Also, I wanted to know about their marriage life. But sadly, the author didn't write any. For all these, I cut one star out.

Since she looked so much like her dad's sister, she was assumed to be her and she just let it go since no one would easily believe that she was from the future. Her dad and his friends ended up believing her story a while later, though, two of them still ended up falling for her (since she literally was the best girl they've ever met but FL was never ambiguous with any of them). FL decided to fix the past by driving the stepmother and her daughter away from Lu's house, reconciling the relationship between her dad and grandpa, and trying to fix the relationship between her dad and ML. She was very scared of ML at first since ML in the future was the one who caused her family to go bankrupt. She, however, kept on seeing him everywhere and she couldn't watch him get bullied and insulted since she was raised as an upright noble lady. FL slowly got interested in ML as he was just so hardworking and kind so she did end up falling for him. She was honest with her feelings and couldn't give up on ML despite being hurt by him (which was ML's plan on having her stay away since he didn't want her to continue liking him while bearing some guilt). Even when she disappeared and was reborn again as her dad's daughter without the memories of her past, she still ended up liking ML despite their age gap. After a near-death experience with ML, she recovered her memories and finally got together with ML for good.

He was born poor, his mother left them, and his father was extremely sick. The reason why he hated FL's dad was because his dad worked in a cement company under the Lu's (FL's dad's company) and got an incurable disease from it.

she literally saw her own mother committing su*cide while her own father f'cked around. Ab*sed her, neglected, only to end up the same fate as her mother for Lu Yan's previous life.

We're not given any depth whatsoever, and some of them are just described as though that's just their personality. Being greedy, jealous, two-faced, we're not given a reason or a backstory why they are doing that. And it gives me the impression that they only exist for the sake of putting MC to spotlight. (I'm fine with that but imo it could've been written better.)

like other reviews say, giving one more male love interests for the MC is so unneeded. The romance between Lu Yan and Shen Kuo sparked way before the other male interests developed feelings. They're charming in their own ways, though (I'm just in love with Liang Ting but anyway)

the aunt, the extra suitors, the amnesia, the amnesia recovery...

Depression is not easy. It makes me feel sad when I read about it.
