It's about two suicidal lad finding solace within each other. From curiosity, to solace, to love. Then they don't want to die. But, see the first tag? It's drama. The first tag should be drama+tragedy=dragedy. Read it, it only consists of 127 short paragraphs

Spoiler

people are bemoaning about open ending.126th paragraph clearly hinted bad end. But, 127th paragraph gives us some hope, albeit little

my final take, it's tragedy. If you're okay, go read it. It's damn good. It's oneshot anyway

I don't usually leave reviews but since I liked this short novel and no one's commented here yet, here this is.

This was a really nice slow romance between a 'cleaner' and their target which leads to unexpected circumstances. I'd say its quite deep in a way making the characters think about life and why they ended up doing what they were doing.

Spoiler

P.s. This ends on a sort of cliffhanger leaving it up to the readers to decide what happened to them

Good oneshot

This has Open Ending, so I really craving for the epilogue... Ugh... I imagined their sad ending (〒v〒)

The story written beautifully and I like the characters. The fact that Azure and Claude attracted to each other written carefully. The pacing is enough for feelings development. The love don't felt rushed.

But the theme is su*cide, so for someone that doesn't like a dark-ish theme, don't read this

I have read azure and cloude rewrite version. It is short story in 127 paragraph about a cleaner who kills people and disguise as su*cide with power of controlling peoples. It continues on until he met a girl who is disinterested in world and a lone and wants to die but needs an excuse or external stimulus to take final step. When our MC get this job he feel like being used by girl and thus decided to make girl love her life and then kill her. Then follows series... more>> of interactions and actions to make this happen and in between he finds reason for girl desire to die.

It short and simple and somewhat predictable but undertone and interactions make reading this worthwhile.

It is good story to read between breaks while reading your usual novels. <<less

Great one! Pretty short. Instead of checking reviews you may as well start it and drop if needed. Plot development is pretty fast so it won't take long to understand whether it's your cup of coffee.

My job mostly entailed cleaning rooms.

Why would I go cleaning other people's rooms?
Because it comes along with su*cide.

... more>> Get the room clean and leave a note, and no one will be suspicious of a su*cide.
Making it all tidy. That's the important part.

The procedure is as follows.

1. Take over the target's body.
2. Hint at su*cide.
3. Tidy up the room.
4. Write a note.
5. Commit su*cide.

And so, if asked my profession, I would call myself a "Cleaner."
Which was, of course, true in more ways than one. <<less

To be honest I didn't read the novel since it is really rare for me to do so. I have read manga adaptation of this novel but because it was axed I read the last 10 chapters of the novel to know how it ended. I have to say it is the most emotional romance series I have ever read.
Spoiler

It is sad to know that most likely, in the end Azure and Claude didn't have a happy ending left with nothing but to imagine what it would be like to live a happy life together. Even though the ending of this novel is open ending you can still guess how it would end and that is the saddest thing about this series is that you know that two characters for happiness of which you have been longing for won't live long and happy life at the same time there is still a little hope that the death circle has ended and Azure and Claude are somewhere out there living a life together. However, we will never know what truly happened. As I always say, I enjoyed every moment of this series but because of how sad it makes you feel, I regret ever starting it.

One of the most unique oneshots I have read. The romance between the two characters was built up throughout the story and you can see the exact moments when they do fall in love; and it's beautiful. Loved the story and how even when they have found happiness with each other, it won't last.

It was one of the unique one shots I have ever read. Definitely deserves a 5 star. The slow romance build was greatly appreciated. I love Azure and Claude's interactions. The romance didn't feel rush at all even though it's a oneshot.
