Simply said, it's definitely not a novel worthy of your time.

It's full of angsty dog blood drama that doesn't make sense and will only leave you feeling worse, badly written with no clear plotlines, tons of inconsistencies and logical fallacies, unrealistic half-baked characters with no growth, and basically everything about this novel will make your mind go numb. I'm not even talking about the fetish-oriented tags.

It tells the story of a top assassin, her underworld king lover, and their 5yo daughter who just happened to be an interpol spy recruited... more>> from when she was 3yo to unmask the works of an international terrorist organization. Yup, you heard that right, THE TODDLER IS A TERRORIST-FIGHTING INTERPOL AGENT.

The ML just so happen to have both severe borderline personality disorder and a huuuge ego. The plot basically goes around ML getting insecure about their relationship, ML goes around finding other girls to sleep with in front of MC to make her feel bad, MC planning to escape with her child, ML got MC on house arrest / drove her out of the house directly / prevented MC from seing their child, ML r*ped MC because of his frustrations, MC decided to forgive ML because of her undying love, rinse and repeat. It goes on and on tons of times with the same cycle and no development whatsoever. So up until the ending (200++ chapters), ML is still that overbearing guy with huge ego that'd get with other women the moment he got suspicious of MC's feelings. He never hesitated to break her, up until the last moment.

I know a lot of people have this kind of fetish, and I have nothing against the controversial topics, but even so, from an objective point of view, the plot is garbage since there's never been any development and just repeating the same pattern over and over and over again. It's like the characters IQs are so low that they could never learn from past mistakes. There are tons of well written webnovels with possessive ML, and this is obviously not it.

If that's not silly enough, the novel goes from a mafia themed story to a culinary themed in the last few tens of chapters. The so called underworld king is just so happened to be the wealthiest CEO and a talented chef. LMFAO.

The main idea is so s*upid it makes you question your IQ. This is like a practice writing written by a grade schooler. Definitely one of the worst read I've ever read in NU. <<less

Once more from Sofanovel!

The ML is a douchebag. Sleeping around, but not with his fiance, Xiang. What's the point?

Saying that he has a tender eyes for FL, warm smile for FL, etc, but still a douchebag.

... more>> Then, the daughter, Qian Mengmeng (5 yo and an interpol) knew exactly that ML is her biological father so easily while ML, the top CEO and a so-called excellent leader could not even find a clue about the woman (FL) he had slept with. Dumb.

So many logics get loose while reading this novel, and it is almost in every chapter.

No worth value. Totally not recommended reading this. <<less

i don't understand the low reviews on this story. Its pretty good so far.

The tags exist for a reason, the r*pe and pregnancy part was in the 1st chapter to start the whole plot on how she has her 5 yo kid.

So far its an interesting read and the MC and her daughter are quite interesting

I might update this review after a few more updates from the chapters
