I made a mistake in the stars. Meant to give it a 3-star and almost all of the stars go to the translators with maybe.5 star for what could've been a great first arc. The foundation of the plot was great, the character set up was fresh and great, but the execution is terrible.

As of chapter 11, I don't really understand what's happening. At first I thought I missed a chapter or two or maybe the translations are faulty but after attempting to MTL, the translators are awesome--it's the author's... more>> writing that's lacking.

in the first arc, does the ML really like her? And if so, why? Cause she's pretty and is hot and cold with him? It's not really stated or clear. And at one point they're both on a reality show where they have to act as a couple? As far as I know, she's not in the entertainment industry other than being an investor using her husband's money?

And her husband seems to call her with suspicions and regularly gets angry at her.... But then the scene and the situation go nowhere.

For example, from ch.9:

Cen Si Miao (our FL) went to lie on the couch and used her phone's calculator. She was shocked that Xu Senni (her husband's mistress) had gone so long without telling Hu Yinli (FL's Husband) about what happened. These past few days, Cen Si Miao had put her phone volume on max in fear that she would miss a call from Hu Yinli when he came to interrogate her.

During this time, Cen Si Miao didn't bother to respond to Hu Yinli's messages with meaningful replies and would just send back an "Ok, " or "I know." She thought her attitude towards him was painfully obvious.

Wu Li Chen (Our ML) had just finished filming and was on another variety show that Cen Si Miao helped him get.

The variety show was centered around a male actor that was randomly paired with a female amateur. They would live together and in order for the male actor to take care of his partner, he had to cook, wash, clean, and even pick out her clothes.

It was up to the audience to decide whether they thought the couple was cute or not.

Wu Li Chen was especially good at cooking.

Typically, Cen Si Miao stubbornly refused to eat vegetables. Wu Li Chen, however, put two or three plates of vegetables on the table and gently coaxed her to eat.

It's just such an odd skip and scene change and almost all the chapters are like this.

I don't understand why there's such high reviews on this novel.

Maybe it's the fault of the translation, but from what I read, it was a mess. It starts off dropping you into a scene, and then quickly changes that scene without telling you at all. The dialogue is written as though backstory has already been explained, but never explains it to you. Like, the MC says the ML violated a line in their contract, and that she wasn't going to pay him that month. But nowhere I read did the... more>> author ever really specify there was an actual contract, nor that there were rules in it. Also the characters themselves seem to be mindreaders, as they speak to each other as though certain dialogue have already been said, but it clearly hasn't, and it just leaves you so baffled. Like, people don't speak like that.

The author writes as though we are inside her brain reading her Cliff's Notes. Reading this made me double take on each line, and I never got immersed in the story as I just felt there were too many places the author either just summarized, or left out entirely.

I'd make the stars lower, but at least the translation is grammatically acceptable - though I'm still not sure whether the general writing mess is from the author or the translator. <<less

Not sure why this novel has such a low rating compared to all the other system novels. I've personally read most of the ones on this site and this particular one stands out among the rest. The MC is a little unpredictable in a sense that she has gone through so many worlds now that she's become complacent. The first arc starts off with her just dealing with a situation. She cries to the scum husband of the world, and acts pitiful but doesn't feel anything. Theres no burning goal,... more>> just her trying to enjoy her life in the worlds, slap some faces, save some protagonists and have fun. There are not many chapters out right now so I can't exactly grasp her personality but she definitely isn't a pushover. More aloof, and going along with the flow type. It seems like everything is under her control.

ML seems like the dominant type, but due to the aloof nature of the MC, he acts the same way. Well tries to at least, but he can't help being drawn to her. (He always stares at his phone waiting for a text, haha.) MC has a natural, lazy type of allure which is new to me. I predict that the arcs are going to be a bit long, but I love the direction this novel's going in. This is a diamond in the rough at the moment, and I'm hooked. <<less

... It's like starting a novel halfway through. I quickly learn who the protagonists are, who the antagonists are, and a basic outline of the plot, but since it feels like the beginning is missing, I don't really give a damn about who I'm suppose to and rage against who I'm suppose to. It makes reading this painfully long and tedious, like seeing something yummy only to find that when you bite into it, it tastes like nothing. It has no substance. I personally found the story confusing as I couldn't tell what the main character actually felt. I didn't know if she was acting or not, so it made some actions seem abrupt and a bit hard to follow.

Overall, I think the story is a bit sloppy without anything I hate.

This is one of my favourite world hopping novels of all time! It really suits my taste at least. Before I get into it, I would like to warn you that I absolutely DESPISE whiny female leads who get attached and emotional easily. I love it when they’re strong, unbothered, and cunning; just like this protagonist. For example, in one of my favourite novels, “Seeking Good Temptation”, the female lead appears weak and innocent, but it is all a ploy to capture all the targets. She never lets her emotions... more>> drag her down or stop her from completing missions and leaving, my favourite type. Another novel however, “Quick Transmigration: Heroine Arrives: Woman Rapidly Retreats!”, also boasts a strong and calm female lead, but she failed me immensely as she falls in love with the male lead, rather quickly too, and showed jealousy for him forcing me to not be able to continue. These are just my own preferences though, I may just be extremely cold-hearted.

p.s. The female lead smokes in this novel!!! Smoking kills but it suited her so well and I just want to say I wish more female protagonists or even BL ukes were like this. For a BL with a similarly cool, calm, and collected lead, try “Face Slapping The Slag Gong System”! That novel, as well as this one, can both be read on MTL easily so they are convenient to complete. <<less

I think I'm missing something? Like I don't know why the stars are only 3.8 right now, but let me tell you sis. This fine cup of tea is good. I don't see any problems, the MC is a just right cup of latte. She's no push over that's for sure, and can we agree that those kinds of MC's is very favorable? So yes sis, you want a System Administrator Transmigration story then here's a novel you can add to your list. Like I seriously don't see anything wrong... more>> with this. <<less

Very confusing.. MCs seem ok, FL smart and all, but I had to spend extra time figuring what's going on. What's her aim? Who is the ML? What's the relationship between characters? It doesn't help that all of them are introduced at the same time. As someone mentioned, it's like you're picking up a novel from the middle.

Maybe it's just my problem, dunno.

I also have hard time remembering Chinese names and here six people appear almost simultaneously in the plot, so...

The translation is great, though.

One of the best system world hopping novels, the MC is extremely adaptable and really clever, although it says yandere, the ML won´t make you feel uncomfortable. For what you usually expect from a yandere character.

I don't even understand this novel! I'm trying to understand it, but I don't get how the ML's favorability value went up. How did they even get to know each other? Every single thing is confusing. I tried my hardest, but I couldn't continue reading it. I don't even know how people rate this 5 stars. Each chapter does not match up with the last chapter and everything is confusing. I absolutely don't recommend this novel.

Ngl the development seems inexplicable. Putting aside how we're just thrown into the story without any explanations, even the plot and character relationships don't really make sense. Plus, everything is so choppy, scene changes are weird and so is everything else about it.

Also, in the first arc, although the husband is scummy in that he has a mistress, it makes me kinda upset that she's taking his money to raise our true ML on the side? And then all these random characters jumping s*upidly about... I ended up skipping the... more>> first arc.

Personally, I like strong female MCs, and I like this one's character a lot. However, the things she does are too inexplicable and a lot of it actually subtly counts on luck & novel magic, which I really dislike. <<less

Basically you have this strong MC, who's out to save all the MLs. She bickers with the system and doesn't jump into things right away. Mostly. As I'm only in the first arc, I can't tell much about this ML yet. Except that he can cook and uhh... he's got moves.

I really like how this novel is starting out though, and I can't wait to read more of it. I will edit once I get a better sense of the story.

Warning for everyone, this novel reads like a manga/manhwa/manhua/webtoon script. Potentially even the draft version of the script. So like all the reviews below says, there will be a lot of jumps (think of them as scene changes). I have tried to minimize the effect by visually displaying where an appropriate scene cut is, I hope it helps somewhat.

I am not sure if I'm getting how the story is developing. I feel like there are way too many jumps and leaps in the story. For me it was like something is going on between two characters and then suddenly the whole scene and setting changes. Very abrupt. And I guess all the scenes were like that. At first I thought it might be because of the translator but this thing continued even after the translator was changed. And I really thought may be my understanding of the story... more>> is not that good but then I'm properly understanding all the other novels even the ones with wrong grammars. And I'm really confused whether I should continue this or not. Because if I look at the concept of this story I definitely like it but then comes the understanding part and it is taking too much of my brain to understand and remember the events happening. <<less

This is great. The MC is humorous and strong. The yandere ML is amazing, you get a different flavour every arc. It has totally satisfied my yandere craving. The author is really creative in setting up a new storyline for every arc. Which also pushes the character development forward subtly.

Only unfortunate thing is that the descriptions are brief, but that's not so bad because the author has already put down the main information you need. (Less text, easier to read) As for the MC, even though she gets a new... more>> identity every arc, she's always referred by name, so it's a little bit of a struggle to identify whether the author is narrating her thoughts, or the thoughts of the "character" she's playing. <<less

It's confusing, I feel like I am reading an mtled novel, those who give it a five star should read more books. Like seriously, it basically starts off in the middle, you have to scrap your brain thinking what happened before, did I miss a chapter or two?

The foundation is good, but yeh execution of the story itself... terrible!

I don't understand the high rating. The story is so confusing, with characters seemingly popping out of nowhere, things being done that later we find out aren't done. I don't know if it's the story that's confusing, or the translator not doing a very good job, but I honestly couldn't follow anything that was happening in the first few chapters. I stopped reading right after because I didn't know what was going on!

Really enjoying it so far, the typical strong MC jumping world to world with the mission to seduce the ML. The MC doesn't easily fall in love though

I only read the 1st 2 arcs, wolf cub x lady, and then jumped right to the ending. So there might have been some things that I missed.

A lot of the time, I'm clueless to the completion % rate. I didn't really find out until the arc neared the end, and then all of a sudden, FL has to speed up her work. As previously stated by a fellow reviewer, there are just so many names to remember for an arc, and at some point of the story, I'm just... more>> like 「 (°ヘ°) Who is this dude? Also yeah, lots of author-assuming-readers-know moments.

Personal opinion. I hate that there isn't connections between arcs. Or that there isn't much info on the ML (this might be false since I didn't read all the arcs). Abrupt endings, with abrupt starts. <<less
