Very entertaining soccer novels. MC went back in time to 2002 when he was 9/10 years old, with his cheat he embarked on his path to meet many future star players to copy their abilities. Currently MC is in Brazil joining Sao Paolo U13 with his teammates being Casemiro and Douglas Costa (although Dougie should be in Gremio in his youth).

The only downside to this story is its excruciatingly slow updates.

The narrative progression is satisfactory, evolving from feeble to formidable.

However, there's a notable scarcity of varied perspectives and reactions from other characters.

For instance, the dynamics of romance between the protagonist and his love interest lack depth—how their affection blossomed, or the ensuing life of his partner after their parting.

... more>> There's also a shortage of familial viewpoints; the story could benefit from scenes showcasing parental pride, where they boast of their son's achievements to relatives or neighbors, or their astonishment at discovering his exceptional talent in football.

A peculiar aspect of the story is the minimal elaboration on the demonic entity that grants the protagonist the ability to steal talents. This entity's background and motivations remain largely unexplained, making appearances only at critical junctures when the protagonist is pushing past human limitations or striving for superhuman feats. This lack of information about such a significant element creates a gap in the story's overall development and reader understanding.

[Usain Bolt]

-Human Bullet (T)

-Near-Miraculous Stamina (W+3)

-Mastered Spinal Muscles (SSS-)

-Innate Extraordinary Lower Body Muscles (SS)

-Exceptional Agility (S+3)

Fun timetravel "reincarnation" sports story with a system to boot. MC meets Lightining-kun. And discovers he is back in his childhood days. I really enjoyed the story, it takes you outside of the country of origin and into the world of soccer/football. Too bad there hasnt been an update in over 3 months and I cant find it anywhere except for Webnovel/Qidian.

Got into it after reading the manga (or whatever the Korean equivalent is) and it's pretty decent. I don't know a lot about football, but I feel like I learned some interesting historical facts such as Real Madrid being basically knighted/given honorific title ("Real" meaning "Royal") by King Alfonso XIII and facts about players I didn't know about (looked a lot of it up to make sure it was based on reality and it tends to be). If you want a Gary Sue crushing the entire football world with real... more>> life sport stars (no fake names, Messi is Messi etc), this is probably it.

Outside of the football there isn't much of a story, but I liked it anyway. Especially that he's 100% loyal to his childhood sweetheart even when Olympic level beauties are throwing themselves at him. I just wish there was more of his personal life shown, but I guess he's practically training 24/7.

The main character eventually gets way too overpowered for the story set up by the author. Especially annoying that he choses to play with the absolute best teams, making his teams basically unbeatable and there's no thrill at all in the later arc of the story. Worst example being:

Spoiler

Him changing his nationality to play with Spain and just rolling over everyone. Author had a perfect chance of him playing with a team that originally wouldn't stand a chance (Korea) and winning with them, after they got rid of all the greedy pigs in their Football Association. I get that he hates the s*upid Asian Confucian ideals especially about age, I do too, but the problems was basically solved and he had the chance to be even more undisputedly best player of all time by carrying a subpar team to a World Cup victory. I mean, he already scores at least one goal entirely by himself every single match.

Show everyone that judging people solely on their age is as s*upid as it really is instead of taking the easy route.

I read it as MTL and it was pretty awful, but at least understandable. <<less

The plot is light, its like catered more for children age. But to be fair, most of sport story giving morale boost to people to try and play the said sport because it inspire. But this story void of that element. Why? Because the MC is talent thief. He keep copying other people talent. It dissing out the effort. Yes, he written as hardworker, keep chasing to fullfill the requirement to steal talent, but his effort become zero, value wise (morally) because stealing is stealing. The premise is he deals... more>> with demon, so ofc its somewhat like he should be villain but no, writer paint MC as hardworking good guy, nowhere demon about it. It lack background vibe. Shallow. Yes the price is his life age, total of how much year he regressed back but still.. He written as hardworking, good child, opportunist, sometimes selfish, yrs he became overpowered, but I didn't find satisfaction reading his OPness, just bland hollow feeling, not even proud of MC because he wins here and there, and thats because the main root of the plot concept, which is copying people talent. It left bad taste. <<less

It's entertaining, regression is good and all, but to give him cheat of all things, at this point MC just like spoiled brat who doesn't want to work hard and afraid of challenge, and he has the audacity to become greatest off all time not with his ability, solely rely on other person talent.
