I was the villain in a book, but I fell in love with the righteous protagonist.

So, when he gradually destroyed my power and finally held a gun to my head, forcing me to surrender.

I just looked up and smiled, asking him:

“Officer Bai, do you like the First-Class Merit I gave you?”

With the sound of a gunshot, I died at his hands.

But a few days later, I was reincarnated.

I became the most ordinary passerby in the book.

Actually reading this with NF songs teared me really really apart. The story is short and yet it feels kong enough for u to feel a really deep emotion.

[/

I wasnt expecting the end since commonly if u r transmigrated, you can at least redo all of it for better ending and yet still go to bad ending.

But what I have felt and seen in this novel, the MC was able to realize and learn lot of things he wasnt able to understand before

Dammit, I feel so sad! I should have seen the tragedy tag! The author left it as an open ending so that you as the reader can imagine yourself what happens next. But you can kind of understand from the implications of what happened to figure out a really sad conclusion. (But I hate bad endings so I'm going to cope and think everything went okay) It's a short read so it doesn't take too much time, but you can really feel the emotional impact it leaves you with.
