For example, how did Su Meng get her space and why?

The only explanation we get for this is that it is a result of her rebirth and a way for her to fix/get past all the issues and regrets she had in her past life. The space grows in size everything she achieves a goal that she had in her previous life. Not to mention randomly near the end of the novel maybe chapter 75? It's revealed that the space is a tattoo on her wrist that grows in size, after the ML asks SM when she got another 'tattoo'/why her 'tattoo' got so big (although till the end, she never reveals the existence of the space to anyone, even the ML). Maybe I missed some things but she never mentioned it being a tattoo until then which bugs me because all I knew was that she could access it somehow (there was no explanation so I assumed it was through her mind) and if it was a tattoo how come no one brought it up? why is it only being brought up now? where is the context for these things?

Why does Su Meng's sister hate her so much?

There is almost no explanation for this other than that it's just her sisters character. Whether it was SM previous or current life her sister always looked down on her regardless of how much SM loved/cared for her, but there was never any backstory as to why she was like this way in the first place other than the fact that she was spoiled. But being spoiled isn't enough reason to send your sister knowingly, into an abusive household, but that probably explains why the novel is so short

Why was the ML's mother killed?

I mean first of all his mother is from a military family so it's a risky move, secondly she was killed not just by his stepmother but also his father?! I want to ask the author why she even added this in the first place, it's like she attempted to give us some angsty/dramatic backstory but gave up because this is how it was resolved:

• ML and SM go to ML's mothers dowry/present or something (I literally cannot remember) that she got for the ML but he never visited, and meet one of his mothers friends who tells him how the ML's mother was planning his (ML's) future and was shocked when she died, which made the ML and SM find out she was mu*dered and then they told ML's paternal grandfather, who put stepmom and father in jail

I mean this all took less than a chapter! If you're going to add a story line at least make it last for a bit more, like where was the suspense not to mention what was the reason. I could understand the stepmom but what could the ML's father possibly gain from mu*dering his wife, like couldn't he just divorce her!?

Other than the lack of story line/2-dimensional character design, at the start when SM first discovered the space, the author really wanted to make sure we knew soft it made her voice, mentioning it multiple time throughout the first couple of chapters, like we get it.... her voice is soft/coquettish, not to mention all the stuff in the NU description is so misleading, it made me think of those cliche ML CEO/Villain novels like Perfect Secret Love: The Bad New Wife is a Little Sweet.

Also the things in the description is only touched on a few times and it's mainly only mentioned by the ML (as for the whole spoiled thing... I mean I guess but no one other than the ML and a few others actually know that SM is from a rich family so it's kind of invalid plus SM's only neighbor (mentioned) is the ML so I don't know who these Neighbours ABCDE are. They might have been present at the start of the novel but I don't remember them saying anything super flattering about SM other than she's the girl that was adopted by the rich couple. This is especially considering the fact that after she goes to school she's almost never around people other than classmates and mutual friends but I digress

ML tattooed her on his arm!! They only met for a few days and those times were short and not enough to get to know each other at all. That's just creepy.

They just met days ago, dude gets a tattoo of her... uh ok weird. Ok it turns out it's temporary (months long), ok that's better. She doesn't know that though, and instead of being weirded out or freaking out the first thing she does is blinking her eyes and asking why he got that. Then she asks him if it hurt and he says yes and she blows it. I can't, at this point this isn't even cute, it's just weird and forced, no one acts like that. Pls, even if someone got a temporary tattoo of me I'd be super weirded out, especially if I just met them, they are not dating, she's still at the dense stage (of course, they just met). Plus she wears a mask and somehow can eat and drink in front of him and he doesn't know how she looks like ?? alright...

Before rebirth, MC was adopted by an abusive parent after being tricked by her little sister. Spending her time growing up in that type of household, she had to do what she had to do to survive. Imo, she isn't exactly tough, per say. It was actually within her nature to be timid and pushover. So, she had never been a tough girl, it was just that she grew up in a tough environment. After suffering for a whole life, she died and reborn.

After rebirth, she gained a system which forced her to be spoiled. She wasn't able to curse. Her cussing will be automatically converted to being couquetish by the system. Whenever she felt troubled, her eyes would start moistened. She wasn't able to control that, it was her natural reaction - adjusted by the system. Honestly though, this system had been rather useless. It never interacted with MC and it only provided beauty upgrade.

after FL moves with the couple she meets ML who was her sister's crush in her past life, so she knows that he became a hated 2nd generation & that he's the hot-headed type. She realizes he's kind so thay start interacting more, resulting in him falling head over hills for her. 2 years later they meet again, he's a soldier and has change to a more stable & mature person. Their relationship develops smoothly from then on
