This is a very fun read. The story flow is seamless and the characters are three-dimensional. I also like the chemistry of MC and ML and how their personality blends in harmony.

Character development can be seen on ML which is a joy for me to see, since his thoughts and weaknesses are shown instead of making him a cold-blooded, powerful killer right from the start. The only plothole left unresolved for me is the ... more>>

Particularly when MC went back to the past and gave ML the jade pendant, it left me thinking about the origin of the pendant. ML is bound to give it to MC in the near future.. And the process repeats (future MC returning to past and gives pendant to ML - ML meets MC in the near future and gives her the pendant - MC returns to the past carrying the pendant). So the origin of the jade pendant is unknown and confusing. Basically, the jade pendant with unknown origin doesn't exist anymore in the future after MC returns, since it's cycled in a time paradox

Disregarding that, it's a great short story~

This actually good and compact. FL (Su Mei) was transmigrated as minor character after novel ending, she needed to earn 30, 000 gold taels to go home... however, she ended having feelings and married ML (Ah Ping/Ping Chuan) after saving him. But turned out, he's important side character who always been OG leads.

The plot twist was good.

Turned out that ML didn't lose his memories and been waiting for her for 5 yrs.

They already met when OG ML was poisoned... FL turned back time to save Ah Ping, she left Jade pendant, gave her name and predicted that they will see again each other after 5 years.

According to ML's POV, he always monitoring her and he discovered knew other tramsmigrated souls using her body too (system been corrupted by money greediness).

When he lost hope on seeing her soul in the same body again... but when he injured, he saved her and discovered that his "Su Mei" already came back and rest was history.

This got almost same story of After Marrying a Wealthy Husband, I Became Famous by Slacking Off (modern genre)... but find this novel with better execution. <<less

Short, sweet and effortlessly funny with a nice spin on your usual transmigration fare! Love, love the leads and the other characters. Perfect for a quick afternoon read with a lovely cup of tea. &Lt;3

Short story with a generic trope that is executed quite well, given how short this novel was. I love that the extras gave us ML's perspective since most of the short stories like this are in the first person and you don't get too much of the other lead's perspective. Solid 5 stars.
