After Maxing Out All Classes

Robb has been playing for several years in a game that allows players to freely change classes. He has fully maxed out all classes, established the largest guild in the entire server, defeated the most difficult of dungeons, defeated the strongest of monsters alone, and participated in a thousand-player raid.

Just when he has nothing left to pursue and was ready to quit playing, he accidentally transmigrated into a world of swords and magic while inheriting all the abilities that he got in the game.

What’s the point of taking an adventure? I’m tired of fighting and killing!

He just wants to retreat in a low-key manner and be a lazy person.

and yes, strength is not allowed.

Started off as a pretty interesting story and introduction. However, it all went downhill shortly afterward. The motivation and mindset of the MC is so bad that I'm unable to keep reading.

An "18" year old teenager who grinded a MMO and maxed out all his professions claims he's done with that life. And his new goal is to be "lazy". Which, in his mind is sitting and doing nothing for days on end.

What kind of 18 year old thinks that way? The author is clearly confused and has no clue... more>> what to do since the MC is too "OP". So, he writes the MC as an autistic introvert who has no basic understanding of how to even function as a human being. <<less

- What this story about?
The story premise is simple "MC tired of grinding adventure (normal computer not even VR), doesn't want to do adventure stuff (new world), despite being super OP" with the gimmick being "can change class on the fly to max lvl whenever it need it" so eventually become town build novel.
However because the MC is so lazy the author has to find contrived ways to make him do stuff that both undermine the "super lazy" aspect and make him look like child.

- My thoughts on... more>> it:
This novel Literaly start to get better after +50ch if not +100ch, with a atrocious start.

Mainly because it start with really dislikable MC that like a insuferable manchild, the only way this make sense is if the MC was 10-12 old kid or 500 old time loop hero that seen everything is now just f*cking around, and contrived and forced setting that make no sense (who after playing computer MMO would think RL fantasy land is boring), and the rather generic development really push the good will of the reader and when you think on the out of place MMO slangs you get "2 stars".

However after the MC start dealing with the new ruler, the bullsh*t improve alot and even the "bringing tech to fantasy land" part become more interesting. I have to admit that this novel does better than a good chunk of CN, JP, KR stories when dealing with love interest interaction where they often don't instant fall for him and need longer period of time and conversations and are given more screen time.

Spoiler

I have a personal problem with when the MC push his pacifism a little "too far". For somone with a rather realistic view on some of pros and cons or "trying to help", he will rarely kill humans even some that really deserve.
The time it does happen, often have people that are blinded by faith, they are just foot following order, or their actions couldn't cause consequence because had been stopped before or the MC could just ressurect the killed, this kind of stuff. So you can kind understand.
However, not everyone can be so clean and yet he keep doing it, at least he doesn't come to ressurect the few dead criminals too.

There is a "plot hole" regarded ressurection it seen to imply he could bring back alot of dead relative of his friends and love interest but it is never adressed.

3.5/5

It turns into a town development genre.

It seems pretty good at first. But after 200 chapters in, it's clear that the author has a problem keeping everything fresh amid limiting the entire story to a single town. There are also too many named characters introduced. No one can get a worthwhile chunk of a story for themself. The same joke has been running repeatedly for too many times. By 900 chapters, if the entire story still sticks to this single town, I can not recommend this novel to anyone.

Update: MC... more>> really hasn't gone far out of the town for the entire 500 chapters. It is still quite ok to read it leisurely. The novel has not much in it, only the MC slowly introduces every modern invention to this world. The story doesn't have a plot of any kind. Nothing can really harm the MC either. Some aspects of the story are very repetitive, for example, the call with the queen.

I think a 3.5 score is well deserved. Can't really get higher than this. <<less

I do like myself a good SoL novel, but this takes the crown. So far, the translator's been pumping some good quality content, about 3 chapters a day? The fact that there are minimal grammatical issues says a lot. I quite like the story so far even though it's mostly spent in a single town. It's fun to watch the MC casually shock people with his random shenanigans and the subtle romantic (very subtle).

Good job translator. You're doing some good work so far. Hope the pump continues. It really keeps... more>> me going. <<less

I went ahead and read all 1000 chapters to give you the rundown.

It's basically a kingdom building SoL. He is OP and tells others how to design amenities and make money while he flirts with his harem. He's actually really likeable, being a nice guy and a bit of a clown (with a tad of Chinese misogyny) which made him stand out.

The novel works best when he doesn't move. He works like a gag character since he can defeat anyone easily so him being so passive... more>> is actually preferred. The rest of the cast is enjoyable if not a one note.

So yeah I'd recommend it for a different SoL than the JP novels. Chapters 100-700 are the best execution of the concept. <<less

Not bad, but not all that great either. Enjoyed how laid back the MC was and his interactions with the other characters, but after a time, it begins to get dull. All the characters are pretty one dimensional and they remain the same as when they were initially introduced in the story, only changing a bit after interacting with the MC. No depth to any of them whatsoever.

That leads me to the harem, which is just beyond underwhelming. The majority of the novel is just spent with the MC flirting... more>> with them and things going nowhere. The only one who really had even the slightest bit of progress is the Queen, but otherwise, things remain the same until the end. Only in the epilogue do the women each have a chapter dedicated to them and their relationships are confirmed.

Spoiler

What really ruined things for me was the MC adopting another persona and going around with this false identity. One of the tropes I hate the most is when a MC disguises themself, and even if I know it's the same person, I just feel disconnected and can't come to care about the scenes involved with the farce. This went on for several hundred chapters, and only stopped appearing close to the end of the novel when that false identity was hardly ever mentioned. He didn't even tell the truth to one of the love interests who fell for that persona until the epilogue where only a single chapter was dedicated to her. Cant say I love drama, but it was anticlimactic.

Besides that, this is at best an okay read. Don't go into this expecting too much, but it's good enough to read when you have downtime. <<less

The constant release (from tl) of 3ch/day is insane. Been running for months. And with no writing issues at that!

The novel is also good. It's a "kindom building" theme, but with less heavy topics and more of the comedy.

MC is insanely op, but act truly carefree and do whatever he wants, with others had no choice but follow him. But with the comedic nature, it really has been enjoying so far.

Still very early, but this novel could be a lot of fun. The synopsis seems accurate. MC isn't trying to be low profile, just trying to enjoy a lazy life. It's fun to watch him casually shock people.

I've read it for a while from chapter 1 to around 500 and from my experience

The story can get a little grindy to read at some part, but it actually has a pay off for it but that would really depend on personal preferences.

The characters and events are actually utilized very well to my surprise, the variety of characters would actually be involved in various events that can affect both the present and future plot in the story, and the characters are quite memorable with personality and quite utilized that... more>> you wouldn't fully forgot about them.

And sometimes there will be notes of callbacks from characters so even if you forget you will be softly reminded of the previous events. <<less

The situation the MC finds himself in here is similar to many "Transported to the Game World" stories, except our MC has already maxed out all his classes and done everything that's to be done in the game, so he doesn't want to play that anymore.

This results to him being very lazy, and only expending efforts to live more comfortably, at least at first. Slowly but surely, the story turns into a city development game, which he hadn't played before.

Given all that, the story is very lighthearted, and the MC... more>> is extremely laid-back, often literally too. There's plenty of situational humor, and some funny characters.

It also has some downsides to me. The story is a bit simplistic and the characters are a bit one-dimensional.

It's a fun story, even if it's not a literary piece of art. Decent light reading, great for when you're a bit tired. <<less

It's a decent book tbh, not anything to bad not anything too good, the MC is objectly a scumbag but he has morals, he won't do sh*t without people's permission and doesn't take advantage of the fact he can quite literally mind conrol people if he wanted.

He loves money like all good people of the 21st century do <3 he is op of course but he has drawbacks, like he has skills, but he can't do things he didn't learn if it wasn't in the game.

It does have more chapters... more>> then listed because they stopped listing it on the updates page, so remeber to bookmark your page lmao (if I remeber right) the author updates weekly on friday (idk if they're contiuning that I forgot abt it for a while) <<less
