Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Xu Mo transmigrated into a book, thinking that if he followed the plot, the dog system would send him back to his original world. In the end, he realized he had overthought things.
[Hey, why is Shen Manni, the female lead, acting strange? Shouldn’t she be fawning over the male lead at this point?] [Zhou Qiaoqiao, are you sick? Weren’t you supposed to break off your engagement today?] [Damn it! An Youyi, please do your job as an undercover agent and sell my information to the protagonist, you idiot!]…
At this moment, Xu Mo himself didn’t know that these female leads had already heard his inner thoughts.
Then they decided not to play by the rules.
Xu Mo: Please respect my profession as the big villain!

- Only one "MC", the Dragon King
That's about it. Anything else is negative imo but if you like a main pairing with harem on the side it might be a plus for you. Now for the bad;-
- Too much feet fetish in the early parts of the story.
And the bad with spoilers.MC or rather the author is completely masochistic which reflects on the story. MC does literally nothing while the harem just falls in love with him because they can hear his thoughts or he did something during his childhood. The heroines are the ones that move their relationship with MC forward, oh wait they also don't. Only one heroine is allowed. The final boss of the original novel, a female villainess and also the main heroine. They also marry at around 350 chapter-ish mark while the other harem members just flounder around. She basically has so much screen time it's not even funny. Other characters like the police officer, female hacker and college girl gets so little screen time than her COMBINED. Hell, if you combine the screen time of the other heroines it might not even be equal to the main girl. It's probably why the author made another novel with MC and her alone. Also probably bombed since he keeps asking people to go read it in the translated author notes.
Normally, I don't care about those things. Normally, said character would be important to the overall arc. But no, she does not even help the MC against the Dragon King (Novel MC), not one bit. She just made money and secured her place as wife even knowing MC wants to die. The main girl is so far ahead that she was already doing R18 stuff with MC while the other heroines were STILL in the process of approaching the MC.
So what does that effect in the story? Nothing much other than the harem infighting that is suppose to be common in this type of story. Nothing of the sort happens since the main girl gets most of the screen time. And if it does happen, it's pretty short aside. It did start picking up near 250+ chapter but by then the main girl was already so far ahead. The power imbalance is also no joke, since she is the final boss of the original story, every other heroine is dumb compared to her it seems. The only other heroine, the dragon queen, that could have contested her easily due to having superior combat abilities easily became her lackey it's not even funny. The original novel's main heroine was also sidelined pretty hard and has no memorable traits aside from her being the cold queen archetype.
Probably the most damaging of all is that MC ONLY starts doing sh*t at the 300 chapter markish. Aside from that, he basically just meanders around, only moving when there is an event, which is so few the slice of life takes priority. The slice of life is good for turning off your brain but that is all this novel offers. The story basically doesn't move. By the time the good sh*t happens it's already too late.
Novel probably stopped being popular when MC and main girl got married imo. What's the point of the harem infighting? After all, every other girl is already a loser that is just a side chick/little wife/concubine compared to the main wife. Author even stated that he doesn't want to add more harem members but added like 3 more. The main plot also started going fast after a few chapter following the marriage. What a waste.
Nice addition to the hearing inner voice genre, ruined by too much slice of life and slow moving plot. Author gave everything to his favorite heroine which killed of any character development for the other girls and probably killed of the novel as well imo.
