I loved the spontaneity of the plot, the MC, the MLs and even the side characters. It also felt like an otome game fleshed out in a novel. Different choices at different times lead to different endings. Plus the MLs aren't carbon copies or even plain stereotypes, they have their own personalities lead by their own principles shaped by their history which lead to choices that touch the MC, the other MLs, the side characters, the plot, their reality and even the finality of life. I also like that you'll never be sure who the final ML will be until the shoe drops as they form significant connections and emotions with our MC. What I can say is that y'all won't be disappointed.

Remember that it reminds me of an otome game? It's because there are multiple endings. Wish we had a harem ending though

It's a bit fast-paced as it's a short story but I prefer it as you never get bored. You're not sure how much time passes in the story though until someone points it out but I don't mind it much.

Be ready to embrace the inherent dignity of a human being and their basic rights as we bask in the art of literature both western and chinese.

Love that MC and one of the MLs are strong defenders of feminism

Mmmm I would say it was good but not that good, I definitely won't reread this. There was definitely a lot of good ideas but it was way too short and undevelopped and we don't really see the goals, what's really important in this novel.

Also, the romance part was not that good... more>>

Sang Liao seemed like an horrible eprson who dumped him, he seemed as if he didn't view the professor romantically, Ling Junde died way too soon, Jacob was just a playboy and Song Yuan a crual yandere but it was still him that I liked the best bc he seemed entirely in love with the MC and there was the most developpment.

Very very light read. Fast pacing, simple sentences, simple dialogue, comedy and drama wrapped in one.

Definitely agree with the other reader who said this is similar to an otome game. Even the endings are split into multiple parts with different MLs endings like a Choose Your Own Adventure type novel.

Overall I enjoyed it, but it wasn't super immersive for me. Maybe because it lacked a lot of details?
