Oh Thank God for HE!!! The only spoiler I dare to say to make sure people don't fear reading this novel nor stop reading this in the middle of story.

Because oh my god I was extremely concerned by the middle of story.

The ML action...

God I love him but also... 😭😭😭😭😭

All the plan.... Wuuuuuuu

Just... Thank God for the Miracle and True Love in all kind of sense of Love.

I LOVE IT SOOOOOO FREAKING MUCH!!

This is a surprisingly complete short story that could also easily be a prequel for an exciting supernatural thriller.

I liked the characters, and the maturity that it feels like the MC implicitly learns in the course of the story. I love the ML and family's response towards the end - it's so sweet and also so realistic. Not just in this story, but in reality. There's a Joy Luck Club vignette about how a daughter suddenly realizes that the antagonistic relationship she had with her mother was all one sided,... more>> her mother was just quietly loving her, expressing it awkwardly and getting misunderstood, but still waiting and hoping for a time when she might be let in to her daughter's world. That's sort of what it felt like here, perhaps not in terms of having the same actions, but the same sort of feelings. In the end, isn't this situation common in families? Loving, and misunderstanding, and learning to move past and appreciate their heartfelt intentions. <<less

It's light read and the conflicts are not that high stakes. Overall, It's a good short story to read. Also, this somehow satisfied my sadness & frustration over a novel I read with the same concept. (if you want an angsty ver. And somewhat opposite of this novel I recommend "His Present" I ugly cried reading it)

It’s a nice short read. I was expecting the story to be more emotional, heart wrenching, angsty, but it turns out to be pretty light for this type of plot. It’s an (overly) Happy Ending with some unrealistic developments, but it’s not bad considering its length. The translation is good. I wouldn’t reread this though

Things I don’t like, beware of spoiler:

Spoiler

1. The superstition part feels unreasonable

2. Woke up and already plan to marry? You guys just started dating?

The only thing that I can say is that, this is healing. Although short, this length felt just right, and it can also make you cry. It moves people's emotions.

10/10, you guys should definitely read this if you want to heal your broken hearts.
