It became Makjang drama at the end. Too much angst. She is only 17 and him 18, probably, but what's with all this mu*der and torture plot and sht.

How is this relevant? It's not even contributing to their character development since he still keeps lying to her.

The translation is MTL and oh boy, it's SOOO BAD, the site gave zero sht to edit it and resemble proper sentences. It's making my braincells shrivel and turn to dust.

I read this because of the author's other novel, absolutely spoiled, I was curious if there were any parts that they were any crossing between two books that weren't show in the first.

Also, because I have nothing to read and this book kinda suite the genre I want. So, spoiler ahead, if you don't want to be spoiled with some parts of the story please don't read this review.

So I learn from the reviews that the story is completed in the website (although I feel that it was... more>> MTL).

First, I think what makes the story unique is the part wherein the author shows what happened in the MC's real world (although kinda vague).

Next, the author make an extra part that shows what happened to the ML's supposedly tragic life and make the MC transmigrate in that world, this part reminds me of the review which says that the story kinda remind them Devil's warm. Which I can say is kinda true but I felt that there were some difference because in that story they kinda end well while this did not, but I felt that kind of ending is the best although quite saddening. Atleast that ML was able to feel love even though short-lived.

Also, I have a theory about that extra story, wherein the MC was back in her real world. I felt that the reason she was able to comeback is that the author in that world deleted the supposedly story which happens when she transmigrated. And that's why in the extra she was transmigrated in the part wherein the ML is already blackened.

All in all, it's okay, I also think that there some similarities with the Devil's warmth. <<less

pretty good. In fact, don't see that it's just one chapter, it already has all chapters and extras completed they just don't upload it.

although it's MTL it's edited very well and seems like a good translation.

About the novel, I liked the story, a bit different from what I expected but it worked out good. The extras were a fun read and really makes you wonder 'what if'.

the author could've definitely done better had she added more details and even scenes as well as done more to develop the characters, especially... more>> the extras it would've been better. But thank God we did get to see a bit of the original storyline. I do wish that we could get a bit more about the MC's sister and what went on with her life since she was the OGfl. I liked that she did apologise for her behaviours-its also interesting that here the OGFL did not turn into a complete villain or even barely a villain at most it was just annoying her with words or some small actions but not really hurting her purposely with actions first. I don't even blame her after all the OGMC in the book had also troubled her quite a bit.

i also do feel like some things were left a bit abruptly like Li Xiao and Nan jiao or whatever the teacher's name was-like I don't understand why they were really added into the story if the author wasn't going to tie the loose ends well.

while not something I would want to read again it was good to pass the time and a short read. <<less

Not sure why only chapter 1 is here, but all chapters are available on the translator's website. The translation is a little bit of a challenge, since it's MTL, but I still give many thanks to the translator for doing it. I liked the author's other novel, Absolutely Spoiled, so I came to read this one. It has a lot of similarities, with a super doting ML, a crappy family (complete with obnoxious sister) for the FL, and a close circle of good girlfriends that make up for the crappy... more>> family. The FL lives her best life without caring about those that aren't worth her time, and it's a pretty easygoing story with only a sprinkling of drama. Some aspects reminded me of Devil's Warmth, another novel I like.

The extras... I'm not quite sure I understood what happened there. It was slightly interesting as an alternate reality, but the translation was too rough, and I think I missed some nuances. The one featuring Song Yanke was very similar to the extra of her friend from AS. <<less
