The female zerg was covered in blood and was in a miserable state. Its pair of heterochromatic eyes stared blankly at him, reminding him of his exotic pet cat at home.
But how could an exotic pet cat be this dirty?
Muxi wanted to clean up the female zerg, so he bought it.
【Aloof and Beautiful Male Zerg Gong x Reborn Strong, Resilient, and Loyal Dog Female Zerg Shou】
Later, Muxi discovered that the other party was actually a ferocious large beast, nothing like his perception of a purebred cat.
As he looked at the female zerg beside him, carefully retracting its claws and bone wings, Muxi hesitated:
Should he throw away this zerg he had personally trained?
Shi’an turned back, “Male Lord, are you going to wear your pajamas?”
“Yes.” Muxi kicked away the bone wings that had wrapped around him to protect his robe.
Shi’an: “?!!”
Shi’an stretched his body, displaying his strong, rippling muscles, “Male Lord, the pajamas aren’t warmer than I am.”
Muxi: “……” That’s true.
(The blurb might be weak, but I tried my best QAQ)
Reader Guide:
☆ The Gong is stunningly beautiful and cool, on the path to dominate all Zergs
☆ The Shou is reborn. In his previous life, he was the Gong’s general, but in this life, he’s both the Gong’s marshal + the Zerg Queen
★ Later in the story, there is an egg-laying (mpreg) plotline
★ The setting is fictional and has no relation to reality. Please don’t apply real-world standards.
★ The title inspiration comes from “A Devil for a Silver Pound.”

- Basically, it's a male zerg's path to becoming the emperor. But the twist here is that the shou, the female zerg, had been reborn and was picked up as his s*ave, unlike in their previous life. This brought about one of the biggest changes in his life.
- All of them are zergs, so expect that human ideals aren't present in the story. There's no transmigrators here, so stuffs like harem and brute wars are tolerated. They're warlike aliens, what do you expect? Anyway, it's 1v1 for them. So no harem for MC and ml. Since it's also in a zerg setting, I would like to emphasize that it's a "shou pursues the gong" scenario. Don't be shocked if it's the shou who initiates bed time scenes, cough. Surprisingly though,
Spoiler
[collapse]
and! Although it's the shou that initiates, the gong dotes on him in his own ways! Unlike what male zergs should've!
- Mpreg. Our shou will get pregnant later on, so if you're not into stuffs like that, please skip this one. We don't want to see bad reviews here because they didn't want to read pregnant men.
Next, the characters:before the shou could even propose, the gong already assigned him for marriage lol.
-
- When the author said "aloof", he's really aloof. At some point, he's just innocent about the 'signals'. He's slow to pick up on s*xual innuendos so hahahahaha, he's unconsciously being a tease. There are times he's active in bed though.
- The shou is a loyal dog, and when I say a loyal dog, he's often the one taking the initiative to ask for his male lord's touch. And the gong really does indulges him, amidst his confusion and aversion to female zergs. He's Muxi's only exception.
- What I like about the couple is that, they know each other's boundaries and needs. Although it may seem like it's just one-sided, the gong really cared about Shi'an, even doing the pettiest things just to get back on those who made him suffer.
- But based on their dynamics, I think seme protag enjoyers would enjoy it? It's the shou that chases, not the gong, so it feels quite novel to me. Please if you're not into this, spare this novel from a bad review QAQ I'd feel so bad, it deserves its own loving readers, like in China.
Plot development: What can I say? Since it's not a short story, there's indeed rooms for progress and character development. Our aloof gong finally craves for our shou's warmth, and our restrained shou finally got bolder. As for the plot itself, it's satisfactory to me. There's just the right amount of mysteries that wouldn't overshadow the romance. I like this. So, it's a 5.
